How fast suddenly the past few months flew by. At first it seemed there is so much time, so much time to finish all these little things: the dragon, The Clan Loop, scanning photos and paintings… and now? I drowned in work – a good thing, mind you – and all of these things once again took the back seat. Next to finishing up the redesign of this site, and also of mStudios and of a few sites for Bear. As much as I love to work a lot, when we get back I will need to reorganize my schedule to be more productive in the given time. But for now, I will try and not fret nor worry but just do as much as I can without over-stessing and then to enjoy the stay in Europe. WOW, it has been 8 years for Switzerland. And 10 years for seeing general family and 26 for Anna.

Now, almost to the minute, it is a year ago that Tricky died so unexpectedly and suddenly under our hands and left us behind in disbelief and dismantled. It was one of my hardest goodbyes. It took me months to find my footing again and to once again be able to socialize with people in my environment.

After a lot of physical work and a special resting stone for Tricky, the additions of Yuki and Sky then was the first step in the healing.

The ways of Tricky were one of a kind and can not be forgotten. It was good to have you with us. Each time I look at your body’s resting place I feel the cut and the loss, but all of it has been made bearable with Sky taking over where Tricky left off.

The young helping to move on. I’m happy they are with us, even Xena thinks sometimes too, now a family of three.

Even though I know about it for some time now, and even though it is obviously time for you guys to move on – EIAS (and it’s people) in its original form has so much more meaning to me than being just a piece of software. It incorporates an epoch of wonders and exploration, pushing beyond common boundaries; a time of pursuing dreams and Myst and the JourneyMan; FormZ; hoarding CD’s pulled out from magazines with demo pieces of 3D software; a beauty and speed (at feasible costs) in renderings unsurpassed at the time by any other software, even though RAM did cost a leg and an arm; Siggraph at its peak; new friends across the oceans – including a husband – all taken by the aesthetic of EIAS renderer and its lightning speed and the promise of new worlds to be created.Thank you for being there all these years and help making these memories possible.——————————————————
On Jul 15, 2010, at 7:29 AM, …@eitechnologygroup.com wrote:
And this contact was just as much out of the blue. He is thinking about her, he is telling me, wondering how she’s doing.
