Went to Singapore for this concert last weekend and i told myself not to go for FREE standing concert anymore in future!!! Coz its really too tiring.. although i do enjoy the concert but the pain is too much.

We was not told that DSLR camera and water & food are not allowed until we are entering!! We just have to throw away our bottle of water and swear that we will not snap any photos in order to go in.

Its here !!! the Long waiting Smurfs Movie is coming very soon on cinema this September in 3D !!

oh my ''smurf''(god).. this tiny cute little blue creature was my childhood cartoon.. love them so much when i was a child. Almost forgotten about it until the iPhone app game appear last year. And NOW.... the SMURFS is on the big screen cinema... !

SynopsisThe Smurfs make their first 3D trip to the big screen in Columbia Pictures’/Sony Pictures Animation’s hybrid live-action and animated family comedy, The Smurfs. When the evil wizard Gargamel chases the Smurfs out of their village, they’re forced through a portal, out of their world and into ours, landing in the middle of New York’s Central Park. Day Trip to Sekinchan - Fish Village & Paddy Field

Went to Sekinchan with a few friends last weekend. Sekinchan is a small town near Kuala Selangor, one of the major rice producing area of Malaysia.

Some photos to share ..

The fishing village, where you can taste the seafood at the Restaurants nearby and also purchase fresh seafood before heading home.

One of the fishmonger lead us to this Redang Beach located nearby.

Here comes our Destination -- Sekinchan Paddy Field !!! (just opposite area of the fish village)

We almost got sun burnt after a day under the hot sun...!! Sekinchan is a nice place to explore away from the busy city.

Students Bully in YouTube Clip Say Sorry

Since the video of School student bullied by several classmates in Secondary School - SMK Raja Abdullah uploaded on last Saturday, there was a uproar among the Facebook users and also the public attention. Refer to my previous blog post ---- HERE.

Got the latest updates from theStar paper this morning. The gang of school bullies had apologies to the victim. Personally think that is force by the headmaster and the parents in order to settle the case aside or to cool down the public complaints.

Part of the newspaper article as follows:

KUALA LUMPUR: Several female students who bullied their classmate seen on YouTube violently pulling and cutting off the victim's hair have apologised to her, said Federal Territory education director Mohd Adenan Deraman.

He claimed that the matter was resolved by the school and parents of the students involved in the humiliation of the girl, which sparked an uproar among Facebook users.

The three-minute video, which was uploaded at 3.30pm on Saturday, also showed the victim being hit with books on the head and strangled with a tie. She cried and pleaded repeatedly for the assault to stop but her classmates ignored her pleas and jeered at her......

We take a break from our regular programming to bring you a community service message about something that is rather worrying to us lately.

As you might already know, there are 2 types of Nuffnang campaigns that bloggers may earn from: Metered Cost per Impression (mCPM) Campaigns, which pay according to the number of blog visitors who view the ads running on blogs; and Cost-Per-Click (CPC) campaigns, which pay bloggers based on the number of clicks generated on the ads.

We’ve noticed that certain groups have been engaging in click fraud, which is defined as clicking on CPC advertisements intentionally just to generate earnings for a blog’s owner. We understand that some of you may just be anxious about earning some side income from displaying the banner ads, but do note that this is in fact a violation of our Terms & Conditions under Section 6.

Among some of the actions which constitute click fraud are;

clicking on other bloggers’ ads and leaving a comment behind asking/hinting to the owner to click on their ads back

asking for blog visitors’ help to click on the ads

registering a large number of blogs and clicking on ads on each of them- repeatedly switching to a different IP to click on own ads

Banner ads spaces are bought by advertisers to promote their advertising campaign. Ads are are only supposed to be clicked on if the viewer is interested to find out more about the advertising campaign, not for the intention of earning extra money. Merely clicking on banner ads for the intention of earning extra money would jeopardize the effectiveness of a campaign. It may seem harmless, but click fraud benefits no one in the long run because should this situation worsen, the frequency of ad campaigns might be significantly reduced as advertisers will be selective to only advertise on blogs with no records of click fraud, reducing the number of ad space available to advertisers.

Our system is capable of tracking these actions mentioned above, which are documented and if necessary, be used as evidence for any legal purposes. In the past, Nuffnang has suspended and banned various individuals and groups for involved with this offence. However, as the number of bloggers who engage in click fraud has been growing in an alarming rate within our community, we are forced to be more vigilant to bring this to an end. We would take the necessary action to preserve the quality of blogs and ad space available to advertisers so other members of the community are not affected by those who engage in click fraud.

We realize that many Nuffnangers may not be aware that they might unintentionally be involved with click fraud, therefore we ask that you please help us spread the word. If you are aware of any of your friends or other Nuffnangers who have been engaging in such acts, we would appreciate it if you could kindly educate them on the harms of engaging in click fraud activities.

School Bully in Secondary School Kepong

I saw a video shared by some friends in facebook this evening. The video is about a secondary girl being scolded, smacked, hit on her head and worst still her hair was being simply cut by 2 to 3 other female classmates. The video was taken in class where all the gals are still in their uniforms.

I felt so pity and sad for the victim. She was crying so helplessly.

Looking at the facebook link given, they mention its from SMK Raja Abdullah school @ Kepong. Further from the comments, i found this newspaper link - Guang Ming Press. The video has taken public attention and appeared in newspaper. Hope the school authorities and police will involve in this and jailed those crazy gals.

Do we need proper english in blogging?

I got a special comment at my food blog this afternoon as follows:

The example which he/she mentioned is actually a sentence I jot it in a hurry yesterday when photobucket.com server was down. I din't even care about my english or grammar when posting it as my intention is to post it up a.s.a.p to explain why all the photos in my blog are unavailable.

I felt quite embarrassed after reading the comment by he/she (Anonymous). Honestly all the while, i knew my english is not very good, especially when i need to describe something in english. But i have tried and continue writing to brush up my english.

But after a second thought to myself, i felt a bit relief when my friend told me this, 'Just ignore him. This is your blog you may write anything as you like. You can't pleased everybody, no matter what you did there will be YES and NOs too.''

Hahhaaa it's so true.!! I can write my blog in any language, may it be a mix of chinese, malay, tamil, hokkien or whatever. Afterall i'm not writing a script or newspaper articles, i'm not a reporter, i'm not educating anybody, why a proper language is needed in blogging???

Does that mean someone with poor english or poor in any language cannot blog? How you know my english standard is not up to primary or secondary school only?

Or may be as what he/she say, i need to hire ''someone'' to correct my english before posting??But SORRY.. i'm too poor to hire one. Where can i find a ''teacher'' to do it?

Anyway, I am happy this ANONYMOUS to pin point me and thank he/she for pointing this issue out. I will take note of my english next time ya.

By the way, i will be more happy if this ANONYMOUS leave his/her name instead of ''ANONYMOUS''.

Okay, enough of grumbling... I want to watch tv now. =p

Again 7.4 magnitude quake shakes Japan

TOKYO: A powerful earthquake measuring 7.4 magnitude on the Richter scale hit northeastern Japan late Thursday.

Television report from Japan said a tsunami alert has been issued for the affected areas.

The quake, which hit at 11:32 pm Japan time (10.35 Malaysian time) is reported to have struck 66 kilometres east of Sendai.

Sendai is the city that faced the worst brunt of the tsunami following a 9 magnitude earthquake about a month ago.

According to the report, emergency workers at the stricken Japan nuclear plant in Fukushima have been ordered to evacuate.

NHK also reported a tsunami advisory for Iwate prefecture, saying a tsunami is expected to arrive in coastal regions there as well.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said based on all available data, "a destructive Pacific-wide tsunami is not expected and there is not a tsunami threat to Hawaii."

The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake was centered 41 miles (66 kilomemeters) from Sendai -- one of the areas worst hit by last month's 9.0-magnitude quake -- and 73 miles (118 kilometers) from Fukushima, where a crisis has been under way at a nuclear plant since last month's tsunami.

The quake was centered 207 miles (333 kilometers) from Tokyo, the U.S. Geological Survey said. It was 15.9 miles (25.6 kilometers) deep, the agency reported.

Porsche Cars gathering at Pavilion

Last weekend again... hahaa a few post on last weekend tho... Its just because many things at happening at Pavilion last weekend. =]

Bell & Ross roadshow booth at the main entrance of Pavilion!! Something catch the eye of public is 4 ''statue'', which I thought from far, standing infront of the booth. They are actually real live person actually, wearing in full suit of army pilot? (or just pilot) costume.. All very leng chai and leng lui (Handsome and Pretty!!) basically because they are foreigners.

Spotted the F1 cars at Fahrenheit 88!! Saw one of the posters, Rain (Korean Artist) is gonna have a concert/ perform during the Malaysia F1 Grand Prix oh...

Then here comes the main topic.... Porsche !!! Everywhere around Bukit Bintang Entrance of Pavilion. Line-up at the side of the road.

Inside the walking path, beside the water fountain.

Infront of Royal Selangor outlet... Actually i suspect this Porsche is organized by Royal Selangor, because i see many ppl crowded inside like having a high class party... woohooo... (just a guess)

Here there is another row of Porsche !!

All kinds of Porsche... How wish one of them is MINE...!!! Okay i'm just dreaming... hahhaa

When I was leaving KL at the evening... passed by this Porsche outlet just further down from Pavilion. There is a grand party in there.... !! Must be where the Porsche at Pavilion come from, with their client's Porsh too....

Just had a eye wash of Porsche cars as this is my first time seeing so much Porsche at once all right in front of me... so near yet so far.... (to drive it)... hAhhahha

Japan Earthquake & Tsunami Charity Fundraiser

It was more than 2 weeks days after the Japan Earthquake and Tsunami happened on 11th March 2011. The disaster had taken many lifes and many are still missing. There are many many charity fundraising around us now. Be careful to choose those which are genuine oh..

My previous post dedicated to Japan - prayforjapan.

The Japan owned UniQlo had their charity box at each cashier. (i donated here while shopping hehee)

the Body Shop offering free hand massage if you donate a minimum of RM10 into their charity box. The booth just located infront of Pavilion's Bukit Bintang entrance.

Last Sunday afternoon, their is a Japanese performance infront of Bukit Bintang entrance too.

Catch Andy Lau 劉德華 live at One Utama shopping centre this afternoon 27th March 2011. He was there as the ambassador for the OSIM uDivine 天王椅 - a revolutionary massage chair.

I reached one utama quite late and Andy Lau was out already. The Oval Court of New wing was full of audience!!! Din't expect the place was gated, only VIPs, official fans club and media are allowed to enter. So ppl were crowded outside, 2 to 3 layers of ppl, you can't even see the stage and no sign of Andy Lau's head !!

So we went up a floor and finally found a place at the side. Photos are far and blur as I'm only using the kit lens of 18-55mm.
