WIN Institute: New Class – AFTER You Say “I Do”

Just in case you missed Pastor Robbie’s announcement yesterday, he and First Lady Robin will begin teaching a new marriage enrichment class: After You Say “I Do” — The First Decade.

This class is part of the WIN Institute at Celebration Church, Columbia. The first round of classes will begin Tuesday, May 3, 2011, 8:00 pm – 9:00 pm.

March Marriage Encounter

Last month’s Amazing Love Weekend was a hit! We hope you were blessed, and just in case you’d like a re-cap of Pastor Robbie’s ‘A-M-A-Z-I-N-G Love’ Sermon, you can find the notes at the end of this post.

Moving on to March…if you have not already participated in the Marriage Matters Encounter, now is your chance! This Encounter will take place during Super Sunday, March 20, 2011, 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Celebration Church, Columbia. Dinner and childcare will be provided.

This is a great opportunity to take your marriage to the next level by understanding God’s plan for marriage, including roles and responsibilities for husbands and wives. Participants have also told us that the Encounter was a great ‘refresher course’ — reminding them of the things we should all be doing to keep our marriages strong.

You can register for this Encounter at Celebration Church every Sunday morning and Wednesday evening through March 20. Registration fee is $10/person.

The Amazing Love Weekend is February 11 – 13, 2011!!

Childcare will be available at Celebration Church for the Friday and Saturday evening events:

Friday, Feb. 11, 7 pm – 10 pm Dinner Discussion @ Eggspectations, 6010 University Blvd., Ellicott City, MD 21043 {near the church, off of Snowden River Parkway}.

Saturday, Feb. 12, 7 pm – 10 pm Swing Dancing + Sip and Dip @ Celebration Church at Columbia – Tickets are $40/couple, and go on sale Sunday, Feb. 6 after the worship services.

{Childcare will not be available for the Saturday morning workshop}

If you will need childcare, we strongly encourage you to reserve a space, ASAP, for your child(ren)!

Bringing Sexy Back To Marriage/God Is In The Bedroom Too Part 2 @ The Private Party Room at Eggspectations, located at 6010 University Blvd., Ellicott City, MD 21043 {around the corner from Celebration Church}.

*Couples are responsible for covering the cost of their own meals.

**Childcare will be available at Celebration Church for $10 plus $5 for each additional child. Childcare is provided by Celebration City’s Kidz Night Out.

Saturday, February 12 –

10:00 am – 12:00 pm – Workshop: The Love Chapter – Discover what it truly means to love {and communicate} unselfishly. Takes place @ Celebration Church in The Fellowship Hall. A continental breakfast will be served.

**Friday and Saturday workshops will be facilitated by Christian Counselor Dr. Paul R. Ball.

7:00 pm – 10:00 pm – Swing Dancing + Sip and Dip @ Celebration Church in The Fellowship Hall. This event will include professional dance instruction.

*The cost is $40 per couple. Tickets will go on sale soon.

We’ll be at the Mullinix Corn Maze in Glenwood, MD on Saturday, October 30, 2010, 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm. Tickets are $9.00 per person.
