大概二十年前我在書店翻過一套叫【聖殿春秋】的書，下冊，故事一開始，便是幾個人強暴婦女的情節，而且寫得非常露骨。我認為不過是一本黃書，便把書放下，再也沒有拿起來。很多事情不能看表面，這是其中一例。這不是黃書，而是一本人性之書。 (閱讀全文)

故事結構很簡單，男主角利用一個量子模擬裝置，三番四次回到一場火車爆炸案，要找出炸彈狂徒。愈簡單的故事架構，愈能在細節玩出變化，也愈能挖出深度，就像經典的「十二怒漢」（Twelve Angry Men）。 (閱讀全文)

李查德（Lee Child）的 Reacher 系列是國際語言，我在歐洲機場的書店都見過蹤影。不過，國際通用的語言，不代表真的是國際通用，那可能只是文化霸權的表現。我愛看原文書，但對歐美文化不會盲目崇拜。我崇優，但不見得歐美的一定優。李查德這系列，多年前台灣曾引入過。第一本很叫人驚豔。主角不只用腦，而且能打，很能打，打得很夠狠。 (閱讀全文)

這個豐，不是指買書，而是指7月22日和讀者聚會。我說過希望活動不是單純的機械化揮筆簽名（其實是怕自己沒力），而是能聊天交流，結果如願以償。 Roy, Ryan, Douglas, Abyss 和 Nelson 都是我十年以上的老讀者。應該是打從【虛擬未來】起結緣，他們有的直接發過信給我，或在我的網頁上留言，最後終於在 facebook...
