I am still alive and Iam taking pictures. My general situation have changed however so I have not kept the same pace, and actually the last assignments I did were of a commercial nature that does not suit this blog.

I have bought a new place and renovated the soon to be new studio area. Once that is done I will revive this blog with fresh content. It's a promise!

I've been working on this for a long while but today I finally went live with an updated design for my website, at the same time I updated some of my portfolios (at long last!!).
I was happy with the old version but hopefully this new version will be easier to navigate using a smartphone. I've tried it on my android (Galaxy Note) and it seemed to work ok, if you are on an Iphone, an other android, windows, symbian or other machine, please give the site a try martenkeijser.se . If something is a mess let me know in the comments, through a social media channel of your preference, or email (is life really easier with all these different technologies for communication?).
I have a bunch of images in the pipeline as well, stay tuned

These behind the scenes pictures are a couple weeks old, but I thought I'd publish them before I publish the finished result.

It was a very spontaneous shoot for me, had to jump in when another photographer backed out. And before I could do anything about retouch I had a planned visit to Denmark for the Roskilde festival!!! (it was awesome) and I also got sick for a week (connection??), but now they are pretty much done.

Stay tuned for the finished pictures, there are a bunch of rabbits in one of the sets.

Hi,
I did a project a while ago with designer: Emilié Karlberg, modell: Sussane F. makup artist Johanna Arnell and not to forget Malin Hellstedt who provided us not only with shelter and a great location, but a totally beautiful and amazingly well trained horse as well, super thanks.

I will of course make a post with the finished pictures later, but for now the backstage pictures will have to suffice.

You have to check out this video project that we created during the last couple of weeks.

I was in charge of the filming and editing, finding the angles and assisting in making the idea shootable.

I know the lyrics doesn't make much sense for you english speaking readers but I'm quite proud of the photography in this vid so I'm sharing it here anyways. ;-)

I was thinking about making a technical post about what gadgets and gear I used to create the scenes, please let me know in the comments if there is anything you'd like to know more about.

And of course, if you think it's cool, by all means show it by sharing it or clicking like on Youtube or Facebook or Twitter etc. etc. You know we all would appreciate it immensely.

Jag var ansvarig för att filma och redigera videon ovan. Ett superkul projekt med den mycket energiske och roliga Lennart Bång. Vi var verkligen ett superteam och statisterna var guld.

Just to let you guys know that I'm still alive. I am sort of working double shifts with retouching and editing right now, and unfortunately it has been imposible for me to find the time to prepare photos and write bakcstage / Behind the scenes posts. But they will come, along with a bunch of finnished work as well. Just hang in there. //M

This image of Maria & Hasse has been awarded Wedding portrait of the month by the major swedish wedding planning and inspiration site brollopsguiden.se, check out the announcement here. This was happy and unsuspected news as did not know Maria had submitted the picture. Maybe I should market wedding photography a bit more as one of my services.

Here are a couple of BTS images from my last project with Sofia S. and Emilie K. I will give all the details later when the final pictures come online.

This project was actually shot a couple of weeks ago, unfortunately I've been so stressed out I haven't had the opportunity to publish anything until now. When we finished this shoot off, I practically ran to the train station for a 2 week spree of conferences, meetings and courses all over Sweden. But now I 'm home and I'm getting a nice flow with the retouching. Hopefully you will see some ready pictures soon.

A couple more from my mountain series, sometimes it can be really hard to capture the grandness of mountains or nature in general but with these images at least I can feel how tiny I felt in comparison to mother nature.

As promised in this post here is a sample of the documentary style photographs I created during the ceremony and party on the wedding gig I did this summer.

I wasn't to sure I would like the whole wedding photography deal, it's very stressful and you have a very high responsibility, but now afterwards I can say it was great experience.

I was planning to get these images online last week but unfortunately I was struck with a terrible stomach flu forcing me to stay in bed all weekend. But that's all history now.

I'm as usual very happy with the result, but please, if you have any comments do share below. There are some interesting photoshop action going on that I could talk about, but I will only bother with a tutorial if there is some popular demand for it...
