I stumbled upon Borough Market by accident to be honest, I was attending a convention near Old Billingsgate and the nearest tube station were closed for maintenance so I wandered around looking for the next station. After walking for about 10mins the smell in the air caught my attention and like an old bloodhound I hunt it down (was pretty hungry at the time).

There were food everywhere! The market is divided into different sections where you can find farm produce, seafood, snacks, cakes, etc. I helped myself to a pack of chicken curry rice, I must say it was pretty good. I didn’t linger long as I had to head back to the hotel and check out, nevertheless it was a fine discovery

Up close and personal photos with pandas! This was the main purpose of the whole trip to China, to play with panda cubs. They are one lazy and greedy buggers. All they do is eat and eat and eat! Nonetheless they are extremely cute

Magical JiuZhaiGou, Sichuan

JiuZhaiGou is a magical place, if you’re heading there it’s best to go early because that’s when the sunlight is more intense and it radiates the whole place. Use the bus and go right up to the right hand fork and work your way down. You can use the pathway on the opposite side of the road, that way you avoid all the tourists because they are probably sticking to the buses and using the bus routes. I walked for about 6 hours and I believe I’ve only seen 50-60% of the place. It is truly a beautify and magnificent place!

We were unfortunate on the day we visited the Great Wall, fog started to engulf the area and we couldn’t really see far. The climb were pretty tiring and if weather were better it would have been a great sight. The only thing I remember clearly of the Great Wall were the cable car trip going up and the amazing ride on the skid way going down.
