ATTENTION ARTSY FOLKS!! Musicians, Photographers, Collectors!!!
Lately my mom has taken up Antiquing and is ready to SELL!!!
I thought I would share some of her sweet items maybe its that something you have been wanting =)

Early 1960"s vintage with the matching 168 Stereo Twin speaker amp. with accessories and original SONY headphones

Everything works like new and comes with reels and reels and blank tape as well as music. (The Tape is old and fragile but still sounds Great! It actually came from my grandfather so you may even have some family recordings.

The music comes out sooo nice! Almost like a time machine, it really makes you feel, like your in another time and place! I hate to see it go but I hope it finds a great home!!

Every time I think of you,

I decided to write.

Let's Smoke Cones! ^_^

I learned about cones last year when a friend of mine, who stays in Sweden near a Secret Place called Freetown Christiania , introduced me to Smokers Choice Filter Tips.

Ever since then, I've been a big advocate of the Filter Tip and Cones!
Working in Medical Marijuana, I have found that many other people prefer this method of medicating as well, however, they can't roll one on their own.

I think I've found the next best thing! PRE-MADE CONES! Just fill and go!

They come in several sizes which is great for the "Social Medicatior" and with nice strong containers, that have a few good purposes, like suffocating the cone instead of having to snuff it out in an ash try or something. You can put a cherried cone in a tube close the lid and it will go out.

Now to showing you how to fill a cone! Everything about the cone is great IF you have a "Mixing Boat/Tray" to fill them with. If you don't know what I'm talking about I'll show you in a minute. Many in the Medical Marijuana industry are using them as marketing tools and you'll see why.

A mixing tray looks like a flyer or post card which is why its great for marketing, BUT THEY ARE NOT THE SAME, I'll show you.
This is a flyer that I will fold into a mixing tray to explain the difference.

Fold the in Half

Fold from the edges back down, toward the original center fold, creating an accordion effect.

On each end push up creating the Tray

*Now this is where I stop and show you the difference.

** A REAL Mixing tray is STRONG enough to Fold, as well as GLOSSY and SMOOTH enough to Aide in filling the cone. If you make your own pay close attention that you are not adding flyer paper to your Meds!

On to filling a cone..

Place meds in tray as desired, I used Hash and Kush.

Here are some things to note about the cone. The tube in the middle is only to help keep the shape. DO NOT USE IT TO PACK THE CONE!

That will make it too tight and burn up all your Meds with out you even Medicating. I'll explain later how to "pack" your cone.

Also notice the zig zag shape of the filter tip, which helps prevent inhaling and eating your meds.

There are two ways of filling the cone

1. Pour 2. Scoop

Stop every so often, holding the filter between your index finger and thumb, use the other hand to stoke the cone in an upward motion allowing the meds to fall evenly within the cone. Then tap the cone letting gravity "pack" the cone. Once it is filled and packed I like to pinch the top of the cone together and shake it a couple times,like a sugar (or koolaide) packet. DO NOT STUFF IT WITH ANY OTHER UTENSIL. It is better to have to relight your cone for a lose pack then having a train burning it away with out you.

Last but not least sealing your cone.

Here is a trick I learned to an even burning cone.
A flat top!

Hold the top of the cone and pinch the end pushing the top down into the cone. Continue doing this all the way around the top.

Staying Fresh Daily

As the New Year approaches many of us are preparing for change and making goals we hope to achieve.

However, many of us know change and practice this through out the year, BUT some of us might be stuck in a routine of comfortable and mundane and your ready to get out!! Here is a personal perspective, take it like watermelon, eat the good spit out the bad. <3

Taking personal time every morning, of everyday to put ourselves in check is something the world is missing, in a genuine way.

Who are you? What are you doing? Where are you going? When do you want to be there?

These are some of the big questions we ask and set out toward, but taking time to achieve the little things in life daily, makes room for the big things in life, generally.

Example:

Who are you?

Some would reply with a faith based answer like the Child of God. Some might be a Real answer like the child of so and so born in so-so town.

I would say you are a Human.

What are you doing?

Some would say what they went to school for, or the place their in, in regards to their social environment.

I would say you are Living.

Where are you going?

Responses may look something like the store, work, heaven, to the top.

I would say your going to Die.

When do you want to be there?

Be where? Should be the answer.

There is no where to be but the present!

All that to say this;

We are Humans Living on Borrowed time.

When we take time DAILY to TRULY APPRECIATE LIFE and RECOGNIZE how pointless everything else is, we can move forward toward what ever other goals we may have set. Every day is new, with no mistakes in it, never let the past dictate your future.

Parent Or Provider

Parent or Provider, I've had to make a choice

I've got to write about it, and share my voice.

with other parents, who are trying to deal

with the heart ache, in me that I feel.

Fact is,
you work all day,

and in this life,
there's no time to play.

It was never our intention,
to do it alone.

a life is what can happen after you bone.

Some can man up
and take their place.
Others vanish,
and hide their face.

Then there you are
with your saving grace.

My child is my life, this is true,

and I am his provider in all that I do.

I want to be his parent this is my plan,

to walk with my child hand and hand.

That they would know me in and out,

that I am their parent with out a doubt.

I don't know what a mom and dad do.

I didn't have them like most children do.

Guidance is what I'm told to share,

but to just do as I say isn't fair.

I want to believe that this is just a phase,

yesterdays memories in a haze.

That one day I can be a parent.

not just his provider.

To be close to my child

not like an outsider.

Am I parent or provider...

This is a place I love to come,

I can’t explain the therapy, it is to me,
To feel the pen or hit a key,
To share a certain side of me,
A place of expression, endlessly,
I feed myself with its intensity,
This passion and drive inside of me.
It’s overwhelming at times,
Even overbearing.
I’m not getting younger,
And it’s hard to keep caring.
My days all change, minute by minute
I don’t want to just be.
I want, to be IN IT.
It’s such a battle inside,
when you don’t live for your passion,
Mixing life and love with out it clashin.
I want to light a candle to represent me,
And the constant flame I want to be.
My path may look devastating, this I won’t deny.
But in the path of destruction, you can rebuild toward the sky.
Lay a stronger foundation, then before.
Making all homes with an open door.
Killing the hate and murdering the grief,
Let the stealing of a kiss be the only thief.
To sit in an office and do what I do,
I feel is a disservice, to me and to you.
I can do so much more,
and may my time come.
I hope I have support and I’m not the only one.
We need to make an impact, a definite change,
God help a child that knows the meaning of spange.

Sometimes I remember,

its not about me

The older I get I find harder to do

Many don't know what I don't let show

How selfish of me, what a horrible mom,

I struggle with life and human existence,

Its been a while since I've done this

so it's about time I re-start.

I am a poet and

words are my art.

Sometimes I feel it

and other times I don't.

I write what comes to me,

words you can quote.

My mother did it before me

and I write in her foot steps.

It was the way I heard her,

Rhyme simple concepts.

Language is hard speak

and difficult to digest.

Words are nice to read

and easy to manifest.

When you have something in you

that just has to get out.

Then maybe I should take my time to

write with out reasons

write because I like doing so

write about seasons.

To write about the small things

that happen in general,

the things that are consistent

never forgettable.

Fuck, there are no words for this...

this fear

this idea that it's not getting better

and if anything, it will be worse.

Where is the positivity among this pain

so hard to focus on things in the rain

or out the window of a traveling train

I want to be open and frank

but my words can make me tank

In a spinning world of judgement

and hate

I want to be loved for me

not for the parts I let you see

I've spent a lot of time in my head all alone
the product of broken heads and broken hearts and a broken home.

I was left with pieces, fragments, and parts.
A broken puzzle with no start.

I'm a pioneer of sorts. In this modern world. I'm venturing out to live. I've turned my back on statistics and I believe in what I want.

I never really know who exactly I'm following, but I keep going forward.

No time to stop, only one choice.
I'm not patient, but I know how to wait.
I see problems I want to mitigate

I have come to find that whatever you have been told growing up is what you believe. I was alone, a lot, I told myself I can do whatever I want. Sometimes listening to ourselves in the hardest thing to do. I don't know what I would believe if I didn't have people like this in my life.
