Kevin Rose and Jay Adelson are hosting another of their semi-regular Digg Townhalls, in which they address the concerns of the Digg community at large. We covered the first one here with a liveblog, as it allowed folks interested in voicing their responses and thoughts real time in the absense of an official chatroom for the UStream video.

Sean P Aune and I will both be hosting the liveblog with a little help from Muhammad Saleem, Andrew Sorcini, and Reg ‘Zaibatsu’ Saddler. They’re the hosts of the Drill Down, a podcast that centers around the goings on of Digg, the ones arguably responsible for the instigation of the Townhall meetings.

7:19	msaleem - This was mentioned in the last Town Hall. They are working on it, they haven’t forgotten. They went and checked out different solutions.

7:20	Mark ‘Rizzn’ Hopkins - I can see that angle. Integrating it into the experience of Digg employees, as well, is important, since that’s who the public wants to be able to converse with.

7:29	[Comment From Blakovitch] The reason he’s getting a lot of friend requests is because Digg started allowing “Shouts” for non-mutual friends. So if you “friend” someone, you potentially are able to spam them with shouts.

7:42	Mark ‘Rizzn’ Hopkins - Given the level of system gaming on Digg, I don’t think making it user-editable is a great idea either, unless it’s allowed within a certain limited timeframe after the post is made.
