What I really like about Coupé Décalé is the mix of 4/4 and breakbeat pattern and the way it sounds analogic and super pop but at the same time very repetitive and club oriented. This is the music of the urban youth from Cote D'Ivoire and more generally appreciated in clubs all throughout francophone Africa and in France. It's been THE dance music in francophone africa for the last few years.

After she mentionned somewhere she was dreaming about a kwaito/2-step party, we decide it was time to contact her. After playing at Cagibi with Guillaume for Mundial, she came to Masala radio show last week to play kwaito she brang from her trip in South Africa.
