<item><title>Making Music with AIDS-affected Orphans in Kenya</title>

<description>Judy Pancoast has twice been an artist-in-residence at Nyumbani Orphanage in Karen, Kenya.  There she facilitate songwriting workshops, lived and played with nearly 100 HIV+ children and teens, and came away with a fresh understanding of the worldwide AIDS epidemic, what is being done to help the affected children, and how happiness can thrive among poverty and illness.  Her talk on her experiences as a solo female traveler on an adventure in Africa is positive and uplifting and should be heard by every group interested in the plight of AIDS-affected children.</description>

Sport Fencing demonstrations, Japanese Sword (Iaido and Kendo) also available.</description>
