Zelda Sayre Fitzgerald is often known as the insane flapper wife of F. Scott Fitzgerald, author of "The Great Gatsby". However, she was more than just the beautiful muse and wife to one of the greatest of the "Lost Generation" writers.

Rita Parisi, in her one-woman original
play, will pay tribute to an often misunderstood woman; a woman who
was also a mother, an accomplished dancer, an exhibited artist and a
published writer in her
own right.

Bach 2 Rock

Caryn Lin- “An electric violinist for the space age!”….. plays her 4,5 & 6 string electric violins and uses sound effects & looping to create short on the spot recordings of her violin, voice, percussion instruments, & other sounds. Layers of sound over deceptively simple melodies result in music that is both otherworldly & totally catchy; mesmerizing and completely unique! It is eclectic, combining New Age,World,Classical-ish, & Rock seamlessly. Caryn thinks of it as Electric Violin, Virtual Orchestral!

He reveals the three magic ingredients of any song: a topic everyone can relate to, combined with great rhythm and a catchy melody. Using examples from his own work, Mister G illustrates how varying musical elements — such as tempo, harmony, accents, rests, and meter— impacts the emotional resonance of a song. Students will brainstorm a topic and lyrics, and then hear their material translated into a variety of musical styles, including funk, soul, reggae, rock and country.
