Winter Formal ticket sales have been extended to Thursday, February 16th.

Enjoy a sumptuous dinner buffet, dessert table, and the company of your friends at the MaST Tenth Annual Winter Formal! The formal will be held on February 24, 2012 from 7:00-10:30pm at Cottage Green, 9001 Ashton Road. If you wish to attend please complete the permission form below.

PSSA Family Fun Night

Come out to MaST and learn what strategies and techniques are needed to master the PSSA test. Games and activities will be set up for exploration and questions encompassing a variety of tested topics.

Open House

On January 30th, MaST Charter School will host an Open House for all parents from 5:30 PM–8:00 PM. Whether your child has been at MaST for one year or their entire school career, this event is for you. We will also be hosting interested parents of the surrounding communities. During this event, parents can experience the instructional technology that enriches our children’s education on a daily basis.

Just One Dollar Campaign

MaST is running a new campaign in the local region to gain support. The “Every Dollar Counts Campaign”, is recognizing that MaST needs to secure financial resources in order to continue growing and offering a variety opportunities to the students.

George Washington Carver Science Fair

The George Washington Carver Science Fair is fast approaching. Applications are due on or before January 13, 2012. This year participation will be voluntary. Therefore, any student interested in participating please see your teacher on or before Tuesday, January 10, 2012. Ms. West, will serve as a point person for our participants. Information regarding the G.W. Science Fair can be found at www.temple.edu/carversciencefair/.

This is an independent assignment.

In addition, a MaST Science Fair will be held in spring of 2012. We are excited by all opportunities to showcase our students’ work as we build pathways in the fields of science, math, engineering and technology. With our new LEGO/Robotics club K-4 beginning next week, the Carver Fair, an Invention Convention in middle school, PSSA science focuses, a Wellness Fair, a MaST science fair and the Outdoor Classroom investigations with Karen McGee, MaST continues to raise the bar.
