We went there last night to see Barry’s uncle race.

We thought we’d get to see him go down the track 7 or 8 times, but it started raining and the track got wet… this was after the first light rain, and just before a torrential downpour that ended the event — and it’s very windy, as you can tell from Heather’s wildly whipping hair.

But you can barely tell she’s 4 months pregnant with our future little manifestor, because she’s very conscious about putting healthy foods into her body. Speaking of which…

And even though we know we may be preaching to the choir about self-sabotaging beliefs as they relate to “money and spirituality” (after all, if you thought like the gentleman below, you wouldn’t have paid for “higher learning” content before - yes, we’re taking a stab at it and assuming you have), we’re gonna slap the following story on you anyway

We’ve said it before, in other places (and even asked mentors about it on our interviews), but we’ll put this amusing (and head-shaking as ever) little fact on the table one more time:

We always have at least 2 to 4 subscribers who effectively come across as “spiritual hall monitors” (or “Ivory Tower snobs” if that packs a more descriptive visual for you) every time we send an email that promotes a higher-learning product that requires them, if they want it, to use their money to get it.

It’s almost an unbelievable thought, but somewhere along their path, somebody or some experience convinced them that teachers and/or marketers of metaphysical information shouldn’t be paid for their time, effort, and energy.

Now, there’s nothing wrong with wanting to help hundreds — or even thousands — of people at a time, by getting your message out to the world-at-large with a mass-media type of approach.

And surely many of our colleagues, who appeared in The Secret, have experienced the ability to impact bigger and bigger audiences because of a certain star power they now have.

But sometimes, as students, we need some exclusivity, some intimacy, maybe even some one-on-one time… and the ability to be guided by a teacher who is intuitive, connected, and focused on what we the seekers need.

And that’s why part of our search is to find mentors and interviewees who are not necessarily in the public spotlight.

People that don’t make you say, “Oh, yeah, I know his (or her) stuff already.”

Because even though we can’t truly say we know something if we’re not living it… it can be easy to slip into that trap of THINKING we know something that we’ve been exposed to before, repeatedly.

Just like you tune out that McDonald’s commercial that you’ve seen 58 times over the past week, or the traffic report that comes on the radio every 10 minutes on the 10s, or the grocery store ad that’s always in the same place in the newspaper… we feel you might tend to tune out the teachings of mentors that you’ve seen featured on Oprah, and Larry King, and Montel, after awhile.

But what if you see a new face — or hear a new voice — that has a new way of saying things, and makes you go, “Ahhh! Now I get it!”?

Well, we’ve got a pair of teachers that are about to give you some of those a-ha moments… for free!

We have a fantastic community here, with a lot of very intelligent critical thinkers who are not the least bit shy about sharing what they’ve learned to help others. And we’re very confident in saying that those who do that will see the Law of Reciprocity kicking in for them, and they will get because they gave.

We were glad to see that the commentary on the above mentioned blog posts ran the gamut from supportive to annoyed, and that’s good because the Law of Polarity states that everything is made up of two opposing states, “positive” and “negative”. So if the comments all said generally the same thing we’d be throwing the Universe completely off balance. And we don’t want to do that, do we?

But what Barry and I ARE going to do is create a video that addresses some more of the points made on the blog.

Chances are this video will stir up some more controversy, while at the same time being exactly what some people need to start manifesting more of their desires…

“If it’s never our fault, we can’t take responsibility for it. If we can’t take responsibility for it, we’ll always be its victim.”

Yet, still, there will always be people in this world who feel it’s their duty to be the defender, or savior, of somebody else’s responsibility.

And, when that kind of “Big Brother thinking” crosses into the self-help / spiritual-growth arena, it’s time to stand up and start the charge for commentary on how this can, or can not, be of value to you.

People believe what they want to believe. They find meaning where they can, and they cling to it. In the end, it really doesn’t matter what’s a trick and what’s true.

What matters is that people believe.

And, we use people in the “third-person”, not to insinuate that we’re any different, but only to assume the faith… well… in your powers of BELIEF.

Yet, before you think this is going to be JUST another nice, trite reminder about how “what you believe, you create and experience,” think again.
