Lewis takes a stand to defend numa numa guy. Mat is really into watching video resumes and thinks they're stupid. Jack has to get face surgery.

Mat takes over explaining the history of the topic from Jack who is very unhappy about it.  They all agree that Yahoo's homepage is pretty awful, but has some good features. They want to answer questions in yahoo answers and give incorrect information. They don't spend that much time talking about Yahoo! and instead, Mat tries to get Jack to try 100 days of happiness.

Also, check out our new show Vs The Set! Lewis, Mat, and Jack killed all the characters from past shows. Jack is starting a new podcast where he exclusively reads Wikipedia pages, called Jack reads the Wikipedia page vs. everyone.

Mat's friends used to watch Shock Videos in a friend's basement all the time, but he's never KISSED a dude. Jack is really not into shock videos and is not looking forward to watching them. They watch Meatspin, Kids in a sandbox, Bansai Kittens, and Lemonparty. We learn that diseased body parts freak Mat out. Blue Waffle is the most disgusting thing that Jack has ever seen. This all builds up to the BME Pain Olympics. Jack watches it for the first time. And doesn't enjoy it.

With Jack gone, Mat, Lewis, and Jocelyn do thing a bit different this week. Instead of one long topic they talk about a group of short ones. but mostly just kind of tell personal stories.

Google no longer cares about college.

Beauty gurus aren't so great after all.

Then they actually talk about TED Talks and immediately gets heated. Mat and Jack have a logical fallacy off and they learn that Mat enjoys the taste of death in a Chinese taste test. Mat and Jack continue to argue about TED talks, and Jack learns that he is a very bitter person and basically hates everything. Then they do a QUESTION REMIX for the first and last time. 

The guys talk about a lot about breakfast and Jack's hatred of it. They decide that Jack is going to start a dairy free restaurant called Not Milk. They also want to start a Denny's Podcast and talk about Hobbit Holes.  They are going to promote the restaurant and podcast with viral videos.

They both don't really like viral videos because they just appeal to people's emotions. Jack thinks that videos used to be better and now hates all viral videos because he's a bitter old man and all the videos today are hack garbage.

They both agree that the Dollar Shave Club video is the best one and explain why. Jack hasn't seen the Kony2012 video and Lewis explains it to him. Then they talk about the problem with viral videos and foreshadow their upcoming big expose on Ted Talks.

Instead of competing against each other, Lewis and Mat team up during the game where they have to guess if wacky situations were either real or fake. 

This week, Mat and Jack cohost with out Lewis. Surprisingly, Mat and Jack stayed on topic for most of the show even without Lewis there to stifle their brilliant creativity.

The guys discuss the recent overturning of Net Neutrality and how much they hate. They talk about the changing of media and how they think that TV is going to go online, except for Football which is too powerful. They then talk about the new WWE Network where Mat is excited and Jack knows nothing about wrestling.

The guys prepare an Evening of Mat Elfring with Edward Smathers, Joey Savior, Stevie Legit, and Teddy Beers. Lewis will play a mirror. They also promote the movie Murder Blown starring Steven Baldwin.

Then they talk about Upworthy. Mat flies a rocket ship and go through what it takes to work at Upworthy. They break down a bunch of different videos and categories on Upworthy and hate them because they're all fake, heart-warming infotainment garbage.

Upworthy takes videos from people and shares content without really ever getting credit. As a professional journalist, Mat doesn't like this. They all hope that Upworthy is just the greatest trolling idea ever. Mat said, "Upworthy is the Lifetime Network of websites" and it is wonderful.

The guys play a game again!

This week Mat, Jack, and Lewis give their predictions for 2014.

In this mini sode the three give some ideas of what they think the new year hold for the internet. Mostly robots fighting.

This week the guys go back and talk about the things they feel where the big happens on the net in the past year.

After listing to Sode 56 about online education Mat has a bone to pick with Lewis about what he had to say.

Mat, Lewis, and Jack are together again. They talk about Memes, are they the worst? We meet a man who deals in Meme stocks, and they say me me me me way too much.

Mat, Lewis, and guest host Bear discuss the online currency Bitcoin. What are they, where did they come from, and how do you get them? Are the good or bad? What happens if China gets them all. Seriously, Bear is really scared about China getting all the Bitcoins.  

Mat, Lewis, and Jocelyn discuss if net neutrality is good or bad. Should Comcast be able to do what they want with their infrastructure. Jocelyn reads a paper she wrote in  high school thats kind of about the typic. and DJ Rebel Rod gives out some advice.

Lewis is trick-or-treating during the time of recording and does not appear on the show.

This week both Mat, and Jack out gone, so Lewis is joined by Eric Younglove, and Jocelyn Hulme to talk about Online Education.

Lewis, Eric, and Jocelyn talk about online classes, why college is horrible. Why code academy is awesome, Do people even need class rooms anymore or can it all be done online. Lewis can't seem to understand not just teaching yourself stuff. Eric, and Jocelyn are going to be lab partners.

They talk about Leonard Nemoy a lot. Eric interrupts Jack reading the Wikipedia page. Lewis leaves to go to another dimension and brings back multi-dimensional cookies. Then, they preview Lewis' new podcast, "Independence Day Plot Holes." They finally talk about viruses, before playing a game of Hoax or Beware. They are also joined by a peep from the Marshmallow Dimension.

This week Mat, Lewis, and Jack try to talk about the life simulator Second Life.

 The three try to talk about Second Life even though they don't really know much about it. Is meeting, and having friends online the same as in real life? Dicks on parade! Jimmy Carr did a stand up show in the game. Mat watched a documentary about it. And then other shit happens.

Mat and Jack try to explain Fantasy Football to Lewis. They talk about how it has changed they way people think about football. Jack reads a list of the best team names. They compare it to Dungeons And Dragons. Then the guys are joined by an old sports statistics expert, Thaddeus Buford, who answers fan questions and helps Jack set his lineup.

Mat finally got engaged. Jack wants to commit suicide because his parents had a Renaissance themed wedding. They all help him create a program to help others write suicide notes. 

They all think Buzzfeed is dumb and that Cracked is better. Cracked had an article about tips for preparing to get engaged so Eric helps him. Jack hates Cracked writer Gladstone . . . a lot. Then Claude Pickens drops in to share a list of his own.

Jack is away again this time at a monster truck rally, so comedian Jordan Holmes steps in. They talk about why people complain online about things that they can never change, is it good or bad? Should fan reaction have any influence in the creative process in entertainment?  Plus Mat gets a little sad at the end.

While Jack is off mud wrestling, Mat, and Lewis are joined by comedian and friend, and beauty guru junky Jocelyn Hulme. They discuss whether or not beauty gurus are sending a negative message to young girls. Does it make them less trust worthy if they are getting products for free?  Also they try to decide if Batman is cute or handsome. 

DJ Rebel Rod stops in to pitch some of his newest projects. The guys debate whether celebrities should use the site. They play an exciting game of Funded or Not Funded, and follow that up with another round of Try To Get Mat To Say The N-Word. Then, they preview an exclusive semi-erotic scene from the upcoming Veronica Mars movie.

The Ghost of Claude Pickens stops by to talk about his failed attempt at getting to the live show. Mat wanted to be Satan’s Spawn in high school. Jack also had a dumb email address. Mat messed with email scammers. Then, they played a rousing game of Spam or No Spam.

Mat is very sweaty because he ran to his car from some reason. Lewis has watched My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, but didn’t really care for it. They all think Bronies are kind of weird. Jack reads a psychological study which researched Bronies. Then Jack read some My Little Pony erotic fan fiction.

Look, we had show notes, and they were great. However, the links weren't working, so Mat retyped everything in again with the links.
