Mount Snow, Vermont, competing in the Tough Mudder, a 10 mile competition complete with running, climbing, crawling thru tunnels in mud, getting electrocuted, and then drinking beer!!
Daddy, Uncle Stephen, Uncle Scott, Uncle Michael and some friends were nuts enough to do it.

Lookin Like a Teenager

So excited to get my braces today! Just on the front two teeth, so they pull together to give their neighbor teeth enough space to come in. Mom’s never heard of a 6 year old with braces before, but hey, I’m ahead of my time. I love them so much, I picked out some nice green elastics to make them really stand out!

Weekend Pictures

Not much happened last weekend but these 2 pictures sum up our latest interests (obsessions).

I love hockey and got to watch both Bruins games over the weekend. By my side are my tools and water bottle. Why my water bottle? Because Mom and Dad always tell me that hockey players drink water. I know its just a ploy to get me to drink less milk.

As for Anna, she loves books. After a trip to the library, she’ll have her nose buried in books for the next few hours.

First Big Boy Haircut!

Mom’s all done chasing me around the backyard with scissors. We finally got up the nerve to actually go to Snip Its for a real haircut. Anna went first, then me. Mom was nervous about how it would go, but not a tear was shed! All it took was 3 lollipops, a new tractor toy, some iPhone distraction and a lot of attaboys.
So… 60 bucks (2 haircuts, tip and some trinkets) later, I’m no longer a mophead!

Mom’s 2-Day Birthday Celebration

Because she’s the best mom ever, we gave her a 2 days to celebrate her birthday. Well, that and she spent the evening of her birthday in the emergency room because of heart palpitations. Don’t worry, she’s ok, she just needs to rest – which is an easy thing to do with me and Anna always on the go.

Over the 2 days, we brought her breakfast-in-bed, went out for pizza, had cake and ice cream and smothered the best mom ever with hugs and kisses

Easter

After Mom’s 2-day birthday celebration, it was Easter. It was a busy day – Mom & Dad were baking in the morning and then it was time for Church.
While Mom & Anna were gone, I first tried some of Mom’s carrot cake (without anyone knowing) and then played soccer with dad – with my socks on my hands and no shirt.

Then, it was picture time!

Then, it was off to Nana & Papa’s for an Easter egg hunt. But first, more pictures!

Happy 37

Today Dad turned 37! We spoiled him by letting him sleep til almost 9 (that’s about a 3-hour sleep-in around here if anyone’s counting), then served him breakfast in bed and showered him with gifts – we think his favorite was the reeces peanut butter cups wrapped in construction paper. Then he left us for the day to run a 10K with Uncle Stephen down by the ocean (they both did really well!) and then came home in time for stir-fry for dinner. We love our DAD!

School Break

Last year we went to Mystic, Connecticut for school break. We had such a good time I keep asking if we can go back. I’ve even suggested moving there. We’d get to live in the Marriott and swim in the pool and visit the aquarium every day. For this year’s February break, Mom & Dad and Uncle Stephen & Auntie Donna and some of their friends booked us for North Conway, NH. I had my doubts it could top Connecticut, but…. we loved it! We hung out in the condo, went to the mountain to ride a snow roller coaster, went ice skating and for a sleigh ride and of course swam in the pool!
