Ubuntu Free CDs arrived...

Yes! Finally after...hmmm...about 28 days, my Ubuntu 7.10 free CDs arrived to my letter box today (I mean yesterday) This is not the 1st time, previously I've requested for Ubuntu 7.04 (3 CDs: 1 64bit and 2 32bit CDs).

[What's inside? - 1 32bit CD, 1 64bit CD and 4 Ubuntu stickers]

You want too?? Sure, sure...go here and place your request, CD sure sampai one...

Well, just in time...coz I'm going to install Ubuntu (tempted by KS's Ubuntu super graphical effects).

I plan to quad boot on my lappy - XP, Vista, Ubuntu and Mac OS X Leopard. Now doing some backups... (wish me luck ^___^)

P.S. Heard from KS that Pam also "crazy" modifying her Ubuntu...

OK, I know...I've not written a single word since last, last week.

You know la, busy ma...like that lor... (TV, eat, sleep, revision, *disturb kkc*, writing reviews, ...)

Updates:

As of today, I left with two papers to go on the 13th and 14th.
I've decided to go for iPhone, yup not iPod Touch...well since features available in iPod Touch, iPhone also got ma...plus, plus many other features (modern phone got what features??) ma those features lor.
Latest: Bought iPhone off eBay for USD $582, pay half with my Paypal and another half with CC. Well, after days of price comparison, I go for that deal...pretty reasonable compared to unlocked iPhone sold in Malaysia (RM 2299.00, no more no less *wtf*). So, you see I save about RM 350.00!!!!

Busy life...finals are coming!!!

Yeah, just about 5 days to go for my first paper, 31st Oct...now still pia Networking final project, which due this 30th. (all together 6 sure mati papers, wtf! *mati, mati, mati*)

Really "terrible, horrible and vegetable" this sem...it's killing!! Ok ok, nothing much to update...kinda no mood these days, hahahaha...

Hmm, I got 1 simple equation, how to calculate grey (white) hair *KS, not your case :-), yours different, lol*:

PRESSURE + TENSION + STRESS - HAPPY = WHITE HAIR

Yup, I'm in the amateur level!!

Malaysian police...biasalah!!!

Received an email from a friend of mine about this...

I passed this Youtube link to one of my CS friends, SooCP. After he watched that clip, he started tellin me his own "experiences" lar. He had involved in such situation two times before, once he paid RM20 (kopi duit la) to the mata for violating the "one way road" rule. Another time was he didn't buckle up his helmet, but he paid the saman, RM150.

This is Malaysia punya police, even though they got 70% pay rise recently but this will not stop bribery in the police force. Aiya, have to blame ourselves also lar...who ask us to bribe them!

Proton's made in Malaysia chopper??!!

I'm reading the Internet again, yup...as usual la to kill my sieness =), I stumbled upon an article news from NST Online saying that Proton has developed a motorbike (chopper punya style) prototype. I was like wtf!!?? who gives a damn anyway...

Well, to be honest, I hate Proton pretty much (yeah, Proton's car sucks, sucks!!). Oh, but I found something quite interesting though...

This prototype was built from car parts!!! It has a 1.5L Wira engine roaring!!!! That's not all, it sports a 17-inch Wira sports rim...oh GOD! Huh...but the overall design is kinda "nasty" I should say. *maybe I watched too much of American Chopper, lol*

Proton has no plan to push it into production (luckily...) I think it's a NO GO if the chopper rolls out, how many Malaysians ride choppers? How many Malaysians will want to ride on a chopper branded "Proton"? Well, you do the math!

Oh, if they really put the chopper in the production line, they might considering cannibalizing their unsold Proton cars, neh...those sidai under the sun one ah...

iPod Touch, I love you!

OK, I've to admit...I got addicted to iPod Touch!

I'm not a big fan of iPod but iPod Touch really drives me crazy. I rarely listen to music while on the go, my SonyEricsson k800i is more than enough if I want some musics, it is not a necessity to have a "mobile media player" (I mean iPod kinda gadget la).

Buy why, why I so damn high about iPod Touch?? Hahaha...well, I love the touch screen feature and effects, simply stunning. Watched a couple of previews from Youtube, my heart melts and my body like kena electric shock! *cham* Besides that, the WiFi feature is really a perfect add on to iPod Touch with a full HTML support Safari web browser, hell yeah!

I've done lots of price and store survey...and I discovered that if, ya if I'm getting this baby off an online Apple Store, I can engrave two lines of text at the back cover for FREE, cool hah... The price also much more cheaper than our local retail price. 16GB one is USD$399 (if converted to RM, it is around RM1357 nia) while our local store sell it at RM1739. You see, RM382 more leh, if plus shipping also not more than that la.

But, aiya...much to my disappointment, I cannot but it online, not for a Malaysian staying in Malaysia. If I want I have to ask my US friends to buy for me, but I don't have a really close friend there. So, so, so...no choice lor but to buy from local store. I know Machines and CG Computers have the stock, but Machines is KL based but luckily Penang has four CG stores (Prangin, Queensbay, Gurney...another one I'm not sure)

Hmm...I hope I can have it for Christmas, OK I will, I will!!

P.S. I'll definitely show off my baby here once I have it...

why, when, where, who, what???

Uhh...1st post of my blog, I mean for this blog. I've posted quite a number of posts in the past particularly for BlogIsEverything.com.

Actually, I've created this blog few months ago...I think back in June then when one of my "old" friends, Muthu ask me about how to create a better and free blog as he complains about the f***in Friendster's blog. I agree, Friendster's blogs are really sucks (that's why I have nothing there) compared to blogspot, but well the best would be Wordpress based blog (the engine behind BlogIsEverything.com).

Ok...

See, 1st post of a blog is very important as it represents the start of a blog. So, for this particular post I'm going to write a little bit here and there...

Frankly, this is the 1st time ever I write about myself...so why I spare a moment off my busy life (oh well, as a USM-Computer Science student) to write here?? Well, as I didn't keep/write any personal diary, so all these posts (in the coming future...) can be somehow the substitute that reflects my life and the world.

Why only now?? Yup, I started quite late...you guys might be wondering why. I've been running my commercial blog for 1+ years now and ppl usually started off blogging by having a personal blog first. Oh well, I rarely put pen on papers about my life...but I think it is FUN, in the sense of sharing my daily experience with others.

The TRUTH...

OK, please don't expect me to update this blog daily...with the busy life as a CS USM student, I rarely have the time to sleep, so blogging? *I've to think twice, lol* But don't worry...I will however update at least once a week.

Will this blog last??

Hmm...I'll keep on blogging as long as I'm here, haha!! Ok, I might someday get a paid hosting with my own domain name for this blog, the domain name with change but the post will still there =)

Ok, I think time to stop typing...this is just the beginning...I'll keep things coming, so stay tuned!
