This summer a group of @ncstatepoole undergraduate students will participate in the B Impact Teams program.
The experience is modeled on Thomas’s MBA 582 B Corp Clinic Sustainability Practicum, and is distinctive in the Triangle. By modeling the program on the #NCStateMBA B Corp Clinic, students will gain professional consulting experience rarely accessible to undergraduates.

Here`s #NCStateMBA alumni Matt Davis`s story in his own words: "Four years. I`ll look back and say that earning an NC State Jenkins MBA from NC State Poole College of Management along with Graduate Certificates in Technology Entrepreneurship & Commercialization as well as Marketing took four years. The truth is… it also took a Wolfpack.
It took an incredible amount of support from so many. My wife Rebecca Davis, who even put a nice graduation sign in our yard as a surprise. My two boys, who even asked me how to write a business plan with miniature pro forma projections for their summer lemonade stand.
There are so many incredibly impactful mentors and professors, and I look forward to continuing the relationships I was so blessed to earn. I`m grateful to Paco Cortes, Tracy Sary, and Angela Coronica who were early guides and mentors that helped me change this long time dream into a goal and helped me apply early lessons to reality at work.
I`m grateful to Dean Blackmon and SHI International Corp. who brought me on board and gave me the flexibility to finish this goal and now we get to build great things together as a result.

What started as a class assignment became real-world strategy.
This semester, a team of Jenkins MBA students built an AI roadmap that a digital marketing agency is now using to guide their future. Team lead Vicente Martinez (pictured), Carol Anne Colone, Curt Rask, Eliya Sider, and George Green took the Seven Dimensions of AI framework they learned in Artificial Intelligence in Management (MBA 558) and applied it to solve an actual business challenge.
Their professor, Haroon Abbu, says this is exactly the point: "AI is not an abstract concept. It`s practical. It`s applicable. Experiment with it, learn it, and apply it."
So that`s what they did. They didn`t just learn about AI in a classroom. They built something real with it. A strategic roadmap that Site-Seeker, a digital marketing agency, is now using to shape their AI future.
The team presented their work to the company, and Site-Seeker was so impressed they asked to use parts of it in their own strategic planning.
