This was taken on last year’s trip to Whitby with Tom Holmes. The view is from Whitby looking over towards Sandsend. As always, rollover the image to show the original (on my website only).

This was taken on the same evening as the last photo (and possibly the next few too!). A lovely sunset at Saltburn Pier near Whitby. I decided to crop it quite heavily to remove some of the foreground and concentrate the view more on the walker. Tonal, crop and saturation adjustments in Lightroom followed by 4 curves adjustment layers (with masks) and some healing/cloning to remove some beach debris in the foreground.

Taken during a trip to Whitby and Saltburn last August, with Jimmy Lemon. This was taken just as the sun was setting through Saltburn Pier, casting a beautiful orange glow everywhere.

This was taken a few weeks ago when we had a weekend flurry of snowfall (Which didn’t last long).
Seizing an opportunity I bundled the kids in the car, dropped my wife off at work and took a drive up to Coal Clough Wind Farm. The sun was popping out from inbetween rather fluffy white clouds making the light quite harsh, but the landscape lovely to look at.

Taken a couple of years ago on a TP Meet in North Wales. This is another shot I never got round to blogging at the time. Not 100% sure on the processing, but hey ho….it’s not getting any more tweaking.

Taken from a trip a couple of months ago with Jimmy Lemon. We waited all night for a decent sunrise, and when it came it was a bit of a damp squib. Still, this wasn’t too bad to come out of it.

Went to Gibson Mill last week (as per my previous blog post), with JimmyLemon. This was taken further down the path to the previous shot. I did attempt a much more saturated version of this, but it really looked incredibly busy (too much so). Nor did complete mono / black & white work either.
