I picked up Seth’s new book – Poke the Box – on pre-order because of it being $1. Seth is exciting because he tries new things. He becomes the living example of what he’s trying to do. It does take a following; it’s not something I could do today. Seth totally deserves his success and this step he’s taken with the Domino Project will make a dent in the universe.

I’ve been practicing the art of initiating for the past year now and I’m looking for something to happen. Clearly I’m not doing any of this to get rich. I want to see my ideas spread because if that happens, it means more people will be taking action through initiating their own ideas and dreams for a fulfilling life.

My attempt thus far, the one gaining traction, is through Nuwomb – Photography Business Growth through having fun and exploration. When I say that, it basically is looking at photography from a lifestyle design perspective. How can you make your photography a part of your everyday life, having fun, and growing a photography business because of it.

I’ll be looking for ways to implement Seth Godin’s advice from this new project and book.

This is for people that want to bleed life in everything they do. Embryo is looking to take charge this year as the top level umbrella of everything I, Scott Webb, do in the online space as both a photographer but more in the realm of entrepreneurial exploration.

Essentially, I’m setting up the foundation so that we can have it in place for growth.

I live for helping my ideas come to life and in doing so I’ve realized that I think incessantly about helping ideas of yours to become a big deal.

I’m not Gary Vaynerchuk or Chris Brogan, I know that. However, I have the drive to sit at the same table as people like them – people that are driven. I don’t necessarily mean that my goal is to be best buddies with either of those 2 names mentioned above, but I mean the people that have that drive within them. To be honest, I hope that’s you.

I plan on releasing rants, product reviews, rumors, sending out early access to pre-launched websites, and occasionally send out giveaways (and special secrets).

The more we grow, the more we’ll be able to give back in other ways.

The newsletter costs $3.99 per month. I will still post free content everywhere around the internet, however it’s not the easiest to aggregate that content in one simple place for you. This can solve that.

This is simply a primer and there will be even more talk coming up.

Entrepreneurship is Painful

Sure there is a possibility that sitting in a cubicle could be with an amazing company. The likely hood is getting smaller and smaller though.

No matter what, if you’re not happy it’s going to be up to you to make the move. Your boss isn’t going to approach you and provide meaning to your life.

Everyone has ideas but few do anything about them. The entrepreneur doesn’t want to leave ideas on the table. Ideas MUST at least be put up on the shelf! That means they’ve been explored and shown to at least 1 other person. If it’s not time for that idea, it’s okay. It will simply age well on your idea shelf for a later time.

Don’t keep your ideas sitting in a cubicle until your 65 and wondering where the hell the time went.
