Hey guys and gals, I’m starting a new blog today 26 dec 08. I’m going to do a step by step SEO of this blog and one other at the same time. We will do each step with video and screen capture. This blog has no page rank or backlinks. I will do some screen shot to show the status of all the sites and blog. Here is my intro video:

If you are using Ping.fm, you are miss out on a cool tool. This site will allow you to make one message and ping it to all your Web 2.0 site like: Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and 20+ more sites. That is cool by itself. But now we are going to add this plug-in PingPressFM so when we blog, it will ping to all the site we have set up at Ping.fm. This will save you a lot of time and make it easier to update your listing for all the different site you are play with.

1. Sign-up at: http://ping.fm
2. Downlaod the plug-in: PingPressFM
3. Unzip it and FTP to your host.
4. Active it and get your key.
5. Set up trigger.
6. Post message.

A lot of people are miss out on the one of the newest ways of keep up with a blog or website. It’s called RSS Feed. You may have seen the little orange icon for the feed on blogs but just don’t know what’s it about. In the video I will show how to use it and why you want to have it. WordPress blogs do have a RSS feed build into the blog. But by adding this plug-in you will make it easier for the user to bookmark it and you can keep track of how much traffic you are getting from your feed.
