Rewatched the first and second season of GIRLS while working. Hannah Horvath has the greatest quotes. I just wanted to get this out of my system before moving on. I know, I know...for you uber fans out there, Hannah doesn't get that crazy ass haircut until the last episode. Whatever, it's endearing because it makes her look like a Monchhichi.

The Dungeons & Dragons show was a great success. Thanks everyone for coming out, I really appreciate it! I had such a great time AND I totally got a red dot! Above you'll see a mash up of my work process for this particular piece. This type of documenting usually doesn't occur. I'm not entirely sure what came over me and why I photographed each step. Maybe it was my way of doing a traditional version of Ctrl+S incase I messed it all up along the way? Hmm regardless, here it is! Happy St. Patty's Day!

IT'S OUT! IT'S OUT! Spellstorm, the latest game from TinyCo! I was lucky enough to lead an amazing art team in creating the concept and final art style of this card battling game. Some concept art for the most recent game I'm working on for Tinyco. So long are the days of concepting fat cave men and wide eyed animals. Spellstorm has arrived...well in most countries aside from the US. But soon my pretties....soon. These are concept thumbnails for hippogriffs & harpies. I'll show my process of how I take these into vector and animation one day. By one day you can decipher that it probably means never or years from now, yes? Excellent. Good day, peanuts!

My amazing group of friends recently worked their asses off in the Tough Mudder Half Marathon. Everyone made it out alive, limbs intact and I couldn't be prouder! When they came to me for a t-shirt design I couldn't be happier to do it. Also who can deny a throwback to Legends of the Hidden temple? In your face Blue Barracudas!

Never before seen Tiny Village concept art! While perusing the archives of Tiny Village I came across some lil' gems that didn't quite make the cut. Below are some story intro paintings I worked on with Candice Ciesla as well as my early concepts for play spaces and idol gods.

Early concepts for dinosaur playspaces. aw they were merely hatchlings at that point. :)

And finally, all you Tiny Village fans came terribly close to idolizing a coconut instead of a giant rock head. We originally wanted the coconut to fall from a tree to distract the trex from gulping up Rupert & Regina, but in the end magic and mysticism won out!

Well...that was a nice trip down memory lane. Come on now, take my hand and we'll return to present time!

Once upon a time I wanted a tattoo on my wrist, of what? Who knows... probably something terrible that I'd regret later like an anthropomorphic donut riding a rocket. This led to me drawing on my wrist as seen here. One thing led to another and soon enough we worked on a project that allowed me to show off my sweet faux tats. Buy your own Body Art Tats here!

Rough sketch from a recent art show where we took sketches from non-artist and re-imagined them into finished pieces. If I get my act together soon I'll post the finished piece. But based on past actions the piece will most likely make it on this blog in about a year.
