Outstanding drawing and animation from Rebecca Sugar. Check out her website, youtube, and journal where you can see more of her sketches as long as you can handle Ed, Edd and Eddy slash thrown in there (what????). Her drawings are pleasurably like an alternate route off of the Thomas Herpich highway of drawing. This makes sense because they both experienced a drawing education at SVA. Rebecca was also an animation student of Meathaus’ own Celia Bullwinkel who teaches there. Reminded of her talents by Cartoon Brew.

Vice Magazine has been featuring the comics of Johnny Ryan for a while, published a whole comics issue back in 2006, and has started adding a new comic on Sundays every week from the like of Jon Vermilyea and Meathaus S.O.S. artistsTom Herpich, Matt Furie and Chris McD, all corralled by N Gazin.

Meathaus’ Chris McD made some weird sketchbook comics at 5am and put them on his blog.
