Hello, "friends!" Wow, it feels like a week since I last updated this website. Sorry, I've been pretty busy with "real life" stuff lately. Just kidding, I actually just sit and stare at the wall all day long. But I've been pretty busy doing that. Therefore, I haven't had as much time to write about my favorite band in the whole wide world. Hell, I haven't even had time to write about Nine Inch Nails, either. But I promise that I'll make more of an effort to neglect my responsibilities so that I can devote more time and energy to thinking up funny things to say about Trent's sideburns.

Ever since I started eating my Wheaties and doing this stupid Meathead Perspective bullshit more than once a year, apparently some people have interpreted that to mean that I actually care about what they have to say about the site (or anything else). I'm deeply and truly sorry to anyone who may have inadvertently been given cause to feel that I want to receive emails from them; I can assure you that it was never my intention to lead you on. It's probably my fault for wearing this sexy miniskirt. Oh oops, I dropped something, let me just bend over and pick it up... ;)

BIG UPDATE HOLY SHIT Oh great! Guess what former NIN member (ehehehehe "member") just rejoined the band for the 87th time! No, not Aaron North. He's barely had time to settle into his "former NIN member" status yet, and it'll be a while before Trent ends up deciding that Aaron is right for the band again and brings him back. Maybe 2012.

3.29.08: They Are Coming!

BIG UPDATE HOLY SHIT Oh great! Guess what band just announced a buttload of tour dates! (Hint: I write about them all the time on this website, and it's not Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.) Give up? Figures you would, loser. I'm talking about everyone's parents' least favorite band, Nine Inch Nails. They were kind of big back in the 90's, but you probably weren't born yet. And those of you who live in America Jr. (Canada) should be pretty excited, since Trent's manager is finally making him come visit you guys too! Now maybe you'll shut up for a little while!

3.27.08: A Surrogate Band

Ever since I set my e-mail filters to automatically trash any incoming emails containing the words/phrases "loser," "pathetic," "sucks," "has-been," "ashamed," "die," "kill you," "give up already," "not even remotely funny," and "mom," I've noticed that the ratio of hate mail to -- well, "tolerate mail" I suppose -- that I receive has changed dramatically. Now I get less than four death threats a week, and occasionally I hear from someone whose self-respect is so low that they seem to actually enjoy reading The Meathead Perspective. As a matter of fact, I got one of these the other day, and I thought I'd take a quick sec and force it upon the rest of you. Cool!
