I must confess... Every time I see a political add I always think how it could be better or more effective. Then I wonder if I could come up with something better. I've never actually gone beyond the idea phase and thought to do one myself. Well this guy did. And it came out pretty good too. You have to watch the ending!

I think if he didn't look like he was reading and maybe a bit shorter it would be better. I would have had him memorize it in chunks and spliced it together with some pictures. See. There I go again. Maybe I WILL do one myself. Anyone have some free time?

Hippie Tree Huggers Beware!

I've noticed how throughout the years people PUT UP with the whole save the earth initiatives of the hippie tree huggers. Everyone thinks it's a noble cause as long as it didn't affect their pocket books. I think years of bad policies because of extremist groups have finally caught up to us. I'm going to go rent a hummer and go club a baby seal while dressed in a fur coat. Anyone wanna join me. :)

Great Job again by Lissette editing the video. The voiceover was done by Jenny Perez who also has mad camera skills. And of course awesome job by the stars of the show Tatty and Jasmine. Can I also mention that I used to take care of Tatty when she was a toddler in Calvary Chapel of Miami in Kids Ministry... Now she takes care of my kids. Time flies. :)

Here's a little recap of the easter service we had this year at the Bank United Center... :)

In this video I learned how to do 'Match move' with the opening clip in Apple Motion. Also, Final Cut is getting easier to work with. It's quite a learning curve from Sony Vegas to Final Cut. Great job by the media team at the event by the way. You guys rock!

Life After Second Life

Today I read an interesting article saying that by 2011 80% of internet users will have a "Second Life". I must admit I tried to use 2nd life and had a poor experience with it. The whole time I kept saying to myself WHY am I doing this and what is the BIG DEAL with this. I didn't see the use for it. I'm having enough trouble keeping up with my "First Life!"

However, some churches are making use of the technology and trying to reach other people on second life. My question is... Is this something every church will need to have in the coming years? Similar to how we all need web pages now and how also web streaming is starting to really be common place.

So I came across this site and started reading all these cool useless facts and I couldn't stop. I figured I would share some of my favorites...
