Multiplatform Productions brings together creative multiplatform teams from drama, entertainment, comedy and factual for the first time into one centre of excellence for multiplatform content creation. It's the hub for co-ordinating development innovation and production modernisation across Vision as a group, providing its expertise and creativity to projects in all genres.

The Senior Content Producer on Arts will be responsible for developing and delivering a new suite of products encompassing the BBC archive and arts. These projects will be delivered as collaborative efforts internal and external partners.

The successful candidate will lead the development and production of new multiplatform arts products for bbc.co.uk.

The Senior Content Producer will own and manage these complex product builds requiring deep and productive relationships with commissioning, partners, FM&T (Future Media and Technology is the BBC division which provides technical and UX resource), external agencies, business management and linear production teams.

As Radio Tutor, you will be responsible for:

- Delivering NCFE accredited Introduction to Radio Production course(s), developing schemes of work, lessons plans, preparing materials for lesson and delivering radio training to a high standard;
- Monitoring students’ progress, evaluating sessions, preparing course reports and any administrative duties related to project delivery;
- Working and line managing a Teaching assistant, who will support course delivery.

Essential requirements:

- Relevant qualification in Radio Production or Media;
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience delivering media and radio courses with ‘hard to engage’’ youth;
- Minimum 3 years delivering portfolio based accredited radio and media training (experience in NCFE qualification will be an advantage);
- Proficient in Adobe Audition
- Experience of managing people (youth support workers, teaching assistants) and working in a team;
- Current CRB check;
- Awareness of safeguarding young people’s practice;
- Available from January 2010 during school term dates;
- Available to work on week days, from 8.30am to 5pm.

It’s a new opportunity to move our multi-media material up to the next level. You'll need to know what makes the average Asian Network listener tick and have a thorough grasp of what is and what isn't an Asian Network story. Asian Network News provides content for Asian Network Reports, Entertainment news and many of the station’s other programmes, especially the daily Nihal phone-in. The department delivers news targeted at the Asian Network audience of under 35s and reflects the lives and concerns of young British Asians. Overall Purpose: Manage and create original, compelling local news content that appeals to the Hit Music Network target audience.

Duties:
Manage the running of the Nottingham Newsroom.
Responsible for maintaining News Budgets within agreed parameters.
Responsible for maintaining rotas and coaching and development of staff and freelances in the Newsroom.
Research, write, edit and present news bulletins that appeal to the target audience.
Using the full range of multi-media tools, research, write and edit local online news that creates an interactive experience for our listeners and improves online figures.
Report on and from local news and entertainment events
Ensure all content is legally sound, complies with all legal and broadcast regulations, and is consistent with brand standards.
Develop and implement news features as directed by the Programme Director

Key Working Relationships:
You will be responsible to the Programme Director, but will need to develop key relationships with the station’s Managing Director, neighbouring Global station News Editors, Regional/Group News Editors and Group Head of News. Community leaders and leaders of the Broadcast Journalism courses at Nottingham Universities are also key areas to maintain and develop.

Key Expectations:
The quality of content generated, consistent with the station brand style as measured by the Programme Director and Regional/Group News editors.
Measured contribution to the station RAJAR.
Improved unique users and page impressions to the News pages of our website.

Experience and skills:
Previous experience of creating original radio and online journalism including reporting, desk editing and bulletin production that is consistent with brand philosophies.
Excellent knowledge and experience of news operations, including familiarity with news programming, production and journalism processes and the technology used in those processes.
Excellent networking skills, with experience of contributing to effective contacts databases.
Excellent knowledge of media law.
Passionate about creating original, compelling news and current affairs content across multiple platforms and growing the station’s profile and opportunity.

About The Role

As Deputy Editor you will use your passion for sportsbikes and your understanding of the magazine's strategic goals, direction and positioning in the market to develop and deliver exhilarating editorial content, and execute the vision established by the Editor and publishing team. You will devise, organise and write road tests and features along with subbing content for the magazine. You will help to manage and develop the team as well as deputising for the Editor in his absence.

You will be required to represent the magazine at riding launches and other press events internationally. There will also be some weekend and out of hours working to attend events and ensure the magazine hits it deadlines.

About You

You will also have proven subbing ability and experience in people management. Ideally you will be commercially minded and self motivated with the ability to work well under pressure.
