Using the latest data capture technologies, internet based research, traffic cameras and audio output, you must possess excellent keyboard skills, have great attention to detail and be confident whilst using your own initiative in this fast-paced environment.

We will provide you with full training and a great environment to work in! Teamwork and flexibility is a must in this role and your communication skills will be tested when working within a team dedicated to capturing live traffic information (24 hours a day, 365 days a year) which will then be used in real-time by some of the largest and most well-known organisations and companies in the world.

Role Specifics

As this is a &amp;lsquo;round the clock&amp;rsquo; operation, the ideal candidates will be available most days of the week, and specifically for night work, collating traffic incident data for North America. The roles are to provide support and cover for vacant shifts for both short notice and planned vacancies.

We currently have a vacancy for the role of Head of Insight based at our talkSPORT office in London.  The main purpose of the role is to support the sales departments by providing useful and relevant information to help generate revenue, by providing insight into programming and editorial through extensive analysis of audiences.  In addition the role will require management of other analysts within the department.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years&amp;rsquo; experience in a research role, preferably within the media environment and have an interest in media/sport/music radio. Made TV, the UK&amp;rsquo;s largest local TV provider, is looking for a Freelance Video Journalist to work in their Made in Tyne and Wear news team. Your role will be to report on, self-shoot and edit news stories from across the Tyne Wear region. You will also be required to develop original story ideas and help the news team to deliver online and digital content. The successful candidate must also be willing to learn the production side of our news programming by working in the studio and gallery. 

Day Rate: TBC

Essential Knowledge/Skills:

*	BJTC trained journalist 
*	Interest in news and current affairs

*	Can operate a video camera 
*	Can video edit (Adobe Premiere Pro)

##Create Social Media Content and new ideas
As a Producer, you will create, write and produce innovative, high-quality social media content for the daily magazine, alongside the daily show producer and in line with the brand attitudes, values and quality standards of Red Bull TV. Moreover, you will identify and develop new story angles for existing projects and genres, generate new ideas and develop concepts focusing on different groups and teams within Red Bull. For this purpose, you will constantly engage with the core and potential audiences.

##Project Management
In this exciting role, you will oversee full time staff and freelancers on multiple social media projects, in various countries. You will research and review social media project ideas, with the purpose to engage and entertain Red Bull TV audiences. Moreover, you will micro-manage assignments and audio-visual projects.

##Co-operate with the editorial team
You will communicate and co-operate with a global editorial team. Furthermore, you will participate in daily/ weekly editorial team meetings; give status updates of projects in production and pitch new stories and ideas. You will also refer to serious issues arising at any time in the production process.

##Network
In this role, you will build and maintain a network of the best online partners, creative professionals, and brand and co-production partnerships around the world.  

##Workflows
Another aspect of this role is to challenge and create workflows to maximize output and efficiency.

#YOUR EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:
* 5 years of practical experience in television or film production, TV journalism and/or Web TV in Social Media related productions
* Most recent work experience preferably as a staff member of a major TV network or large production company, or uninterrupted freelance-work for such companies 
* Experience in story-driven development and/or production with a keen awareness of the fundamental principles of storytelling. 
* Exceptional writing skills
* Highly efficient and effective organizational and project planning/ management skills
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborative team environment
* Must be dynamic, resourceful, and constantly adopting of trends, platform changes and new platforms as they happen
* In-depth knowledge of urban market, popular culture and overall youth landscape
* Experience engaging and growing a brand on one or more social media platform

##EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Journalistic or audio-visual degree (or adequate practical work experience)

You will start your day at our offices, then travel all over the city to spread plenty of Capital love, interacting with the public, telling them all about our brand and encouraging them to tune in. We specifically require people who can work both weekdays and weekends with variable hours. You must be available for at least two shifts a week, and be available at weekends. Ideally, you would have held a clean driving licence for at least 12 months and you must be for working outside in the colder months! This is a fantastic starting point for anyone wishing to work within the radio industry.
