Hark && let us rejoice , fellow Pinoy Twilighters !! In t - [ idk ] hours , the movie we`ve been eagerly anticipating since forever would finally change its state from " Next Picture " to " Now Showing ". I`m sure some [ maybe even a lot ] of you guys will play hooky just to watch the absofreakinlutely sweet moviee. * wink [;

What bothers me though is that soooooo manyy girls my age would watch Twilight just because of Edward C. / RPatt. Transfigurating from supporting actor of HP4 to leading man blew RPatt fanatics away . Whoever thought the boy who died during the Triwizard Tournament would portray someone so dazzling && oh let`s say... perfect ? No, not I . Anyway , it`s quite annoying how a whole lot of Twifans are just going for the movie because of Edward`s oh-so-sweet-lines-that-would-make-you-into-a-puddle-in-a-nanosecond && the sparkly vampire himself. Uhh , hello? What about the main plot? Bella? The other Cullens? Jacob? James? Laurent? Victoria? Tsk. So it`s like the essence of the motion picture for those girls is just staring , drooling && sighing over Robert Pattinson as Edward Anthony Masen Cullen . Please girls , get a grip. Would Stephenie Meyer want us fans to watch her bestseller as a movie by going all googly-eyed over Edward && ignoring all of her other characters? If I were her , of course I`d put my foot down && say: "Hella no!"

So please , to all you Twifans out there who are going to watch it just because of the hot " 17 year old " bloodsucker , YOU`RE FREAKIN` WASTING YER MONEY. Go figure.

GREAT DAYS && NESCAFES ^^

I know , the title sounds corny but to hell with that . The point is , I really had a great day yesterday :D

To start off , our class had the NS 1 prelim exam && it wasn`t difficult but it wasn`t easy either so it`s just average . Haha . Anyway... Considering I didn`t study much for that exam but then I answered a lot so yey . I just forgot about the damn catalytic cycle of the enzyme sucrase . Oh well xD

Since it was a Friday , we would have our Accounting class after our vacant . I , for one , was nervous to find out my score on our 3rd quiz because my first quiz is equal to 72% then 69% for the second . Quizzes make up 50% of the accounting grade so WTF .

Finally , my classmates && I were settled inside F703 && were waiting for Sir Orkie . We first finished the remaining topics of chapter 4 then we checked the papers . Dum dum dum ...

I answered set B for the quiz so someone in the room must be checking mine . I corrected the papers of some guys from section M1 . We went through the different tests && finally finished . Suddenly , Bebs [ my classmate ] told me I got 72 . I was like "Uhh?" . Then we returned the papers to sir && then he returned them back to us . I read my score : "75/80 or 96%" . I nearly screamed . It meant I already passed for the quizzes part . The only problem now is my prelim score xD

So after that was lunch [ 12.00 nn ] . Our English teacher told us last Wednesday that he would not be around for our English class [ which is 1.30 to 2.30 ] . So I decided to visit AdDU High since [ refer to last blog entry xD ] .

First I went to G-mall to borrow money from Pe3 since I`m broke . Haha . So I bought chicken fillet && cokefloat && got it to go . I rode another jeepney to go back to school to ride another jeepney to go to AdDU High .

I was texting one of my former avey-avey cadets , Ms. Alecks Panaligan because I told her I`d be visiting there . When I arrived , two C.A.T. officers [ I couldn`t make out who they were ] greeted me with a salute . Tsar ! Haha . So I returned the salute && went to Alecks` room [ 103 ] . I hugged her though she was in her Type C uniform && we talked && talked . After that , I went upstairs to the 4th floor YLC office since that is my mamee`s office now . I stayed there && ate lunch with mamee . I saw some of my old teachers so I talked with them . Ms. Dosol , err Mrs. Demonteverde called in the YLC office && we chit-chatted about almost anything . Gosh , I didn`t realize how much I missed my former Physics teacher . After that , I helped around the office for a while . I got bored so I just stood outside the office . I saw my former promdate , GRAMPA Earl Marquez && said Hi . After awhile , I left because it was almost 2.30 && I might be late for class . I didn`t want to leave so I asked my mom if I could miss my Filipino class . She said no , of course but I really meant that question . Haha .

Anyway , my dad picked me up && drove me back to AdJU . I was late for the class but oh well , I enjoyed my visit in AdDU High . We made an essay thing about " Kapangakuan " && I filled 1 && 3/4 of the yellow paper just about that . Haha . After Filipino , I went home straightaway because I was tired .

During the evening , I was playing my Cabal character , NibelungValesti . She`s now finally 53 && I aim to be 60 before August . I wish ! Haha . So that ends my great day which was yesterday .

MusiCool [ Not Sure of The Spelling xD ]

To start off , CAN ANYONE CORRECT THE SPELLING OF MY BLOG TITLE IF IT`S WRONG ? XD [ It`s the Nescafe event thing :)) ]

Well , I attended the Ignatian Leadership Seminar with other class presidents && vice presidents last Saturdayy . We were broken into groups . Then were given some questions to answer && then we had to report it in front . I had this one groupmate whom I instantly became close with when we started to talking about BANDS .

I used to have one , but then my bandmates are oh-so-busy with their last year in college . Sucks for me :| * note : I was the vocalist . Weh xDD *

Anywayy , back to last Saturday . He is a drummer && I assumed he is a good one since he has competed in some national music competitions .

We saw each other awhile ago, after my Sociology class . After the greetings , he told me about the MusiCool event . It`s a sort of a battle of the bands thing so I thought , "Why not?" . He told me he`d just keep in touch about it . So I`m psyched about it because it`s been a while since I had a gig or a band practice . Woooooosh

Well I got tagged in my multiply account by one of my bestfriends . The main idea is to write 15 random facts/habits about yourself && tag 1o other people to do the same thing . Hmm , check && check . I just wanna post my 15 random facts/habits here xD

(1) Dark chocolates are my addiction . I almost can`t get through a week if I can`t eat some XD

(2) I was supposed to take up Com Sci but when I found out there would be calculus every year , I said "NVM" . I can`t handle that much math xD

(3) I love the smell of gunpowder && firecrackers . Also the sound of a gun firing :]]

(4) I can do screamo ! Seriously . Wanna hear me sing Hand of Blood by Bullet For My Valentine ? x]]

Mother`s Day Without the M
It was the first time my family celebrated Mother`s Day without our mother . It felt kinda weird because what would be the point of that day when we don`t have our mother in sight . On that day , she was in Jerusalem [ I think ] because she joined this pilgrimage which started last May 2, 2oo8 && would end this May 17, 2oo8 . I just felt weird @_@

It`s not what you think it is . Lol . It`s my shooting . I finally improved . My family && I went to the Laud Shooting Range last Sunday . Fun fun fun . I`m currently addicted to shooting ! Bang bang ! ;]]

Woosh . I`ve finally stepped on the land of Davao, my birthplace , yesterday at around 3.15 PM . I was kind of pissed off when the I realized the flight`s been uber delayed . It was originally scheduled for 12.3o then I boarded the plane at around 1.o5 . I even went to the airport 2 hours before my flight just to get a friggin window seat .

I thought I was going to be glad when I got seated on the plane but then some lady who smelled of expensive perfume && had jewelry hanging down every single possible place of her body [ Well , not really XD ] sat down beside me . She was conversing with a flight attendant....

Lady : "How come the flight`s been so delayed?"
Flight attendant : "The plane still came from Palawan, Ma`am"
Lady : "Oh , you should serve free lunch"
* they both laugh *
After the plane took off.....
Lady : "Excuse me , do you have magazines available?"
Flight attendant : "I`m sorry Ma`am, they`re only available in the business class."
Lady : "That`s racist ! Just because you`re in the economy class doesn`t mean you can`t have magazines."
Flight attendant : "Uhm . I`m going to check if there`s some magazines available Ma`am."

Like ugh . It`s like I wanted to say : "Excuse me lady , you`re asking for magazines && you`re in the economy class . Isn`t it better you bought a business class ticket?"
Well , I actually almost said that to her . Lol XD

Enough of my rants ! I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Manila though it was quite tiring . I wasn`t used to walking so much almost the whole day cuz I`m just usually lazying it out in Davao [ XD ] . The list of what I went to in Manila [ not sure if that`s everything though @_@ ] :

Just a few updates (:

Got Banged
If you`re one dirty minded person , you`d think something else but hella no , I assure you that what I`d be talking about is about a hobby which I now am concentrating on again... && that`s SHOOTiNG . Well , I don`t really get satisfied with Airsoft or Paintball but when it comes to shooting ... Oh boy . I admit , I`m kind of trigger happy . w00t w00t ! XD

My whole family && I attended the Gun Safety && Etc. seminar, even though my dad already does shooting && my mom isn`t really interested in that hobby . On that night , I learned how the proper ways of guns like handling it , your stance when handling it , firing it && whatnot . I missed the feel of a real gun in my hands . I`m glad I`m starting this hobby / sport again . Thanks Dadee-o ! :D

So I just finished watching a really cute && inspiring movie , Penelope . I was looking at the DVD case when I saw that the name of the leading actress : Christina Ricci . My eyes grew a bit wider because she is one of my favorite actresses . I truly loved it when she played as Wednesday Addams in the Addams Family film && as Kat Harvey in the Casper film . I know those movies are old but hey , they`re classics ;]]

Generations ago, a witch placed a curse on the Wilhern family that would result in the next girl being born into the clan having the face of a pig. It is said that the curse can only be lifted if one of her own learns to love her, which is interpreted by her parents to mean a blueblood. When a tabloid reporter named Lemon (Peter Dinklage) begins stalking the family to get a photograph of the infant Penelope, her parents, Jessica (Catherine O'Hara) and Franklin (Richard E. Grant), cloister their daughter away in their mansion, where Penelope spends her life immersing herself in intellectual pursuits such as literature, horticulture and music. Now an adult, Penelope (Christina Ricci)'s parents attempt to introduce her to possible rich suitors, hoping that one of them will fall in love with her and break the curse. She decides to flee the protection of her parents' home, and journeys out into the city, naive and ignorant of the world from which she has been sequestered her entire life. Having no money, and seeing that Lemon and Vanderman are publicly offering a reward to anyone who can produce a photograph of her, she decides to collect on the reward by producing a photo of herself, essentially coming out of hiding to the public.

Vanderman's father, seeing the public's fondness for Penelope and embarrassed by his son's vocal cruelty toward her, coerces Edward into proposing to her. Penelope nearly marries him, but backs out of the wedding at the last minute. When her mother urges her to marry him, lest she be forced spend the rest of her life with her current appearance, Penelope exasperatedly tells her mother that she likes herself the way she is. At that moment, she is enveloped by magical energy, and when it dissipates, her pig snout and ears are gone.

Penelope moves on with her life, becoming a horticulturist and teacher, the spectacle of her former appearance forgotten by the public. At a costume party at which she wears a porcine mask, she meets Max, who, unaware of her transformation, apologizes for not being able to break her curse, although it is obvious he is still in love with her. Removing her mask, she reciprocates his feelings, and the two begin a romance.

I recommend this fairytale movie to everyone . The main message of this film is liking yourself for the way you really are . So weh . I now love love love this movie :]]

Well ! As you can see , I have a new new new blog . I think I did this because boredom really got me this time && I didn`t like my old one anymore . So here I am , starting a newer && better one . Weeee .

Wondering why my blog name`s "Meeraii" ? It`s cuz that`s my favorite nickname [ Mirai ] . I was also fascinated by the meaning of mirai in Japanese : future . Kewl huh ? :D
