A nice, lazy afternoon with lunch at Rhinehardt’s. Definitely “Beyond Casual”.
Spring is trying to spring, but it’s still a little chilly.

Memories are made by people. Cameras are used to record those memories. If you were one of the lucky kids like me, you got a camera when you were a little kid. The wonder that comes with that camera is hard to explain as an adult.
It was like being a pirate on an adventure or like Indiana Jones discovering and a new world.
My pictures were from an instant development camera (kinda like a polaroid).
When my daughter became interested in taking pictures I was thrilled. I took her on a hike and let her use the family’s digital camera. A little sophisticated for a 4 year old, but she’s a quick learner. We had a blast. She took some really great pictures. (Gabby’s 1st Hike).
I spoke with Amber about getting her a “good” Camera for Christmas. One that she could keep with her ...

“Sent from my Blackberry” sounds a little pretentious, no?
Regardless if you think it’s pretentious or not, you should change it. You can use your signature to direct people to your Linkedin page or your Facebook page. You can use it to let people know more about you or your company. Whatever it is you decide, your signature will go out ever time you reply to an email. How do you think blackberry got so popular?
Here’s how you change it.
1.) Go to: https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html (this will open in another window so you can flip back to the instructions here and changing it there.)
It will look something like this. If you don’t have an account yet, create one and sign in.

2.) Next click the edit button next to the email signature you wish to change.

3.) Edit your signature and click save.
It’s that simple. If you’d like to know more about why your signature ...

For over 2 years, the world (or at least the people in my world) have been asking for answers to why the economic system melted down. One of the best explanations of the systematic failure is in this radio story, “The Giant Pool of Money”, found on ThisAmericanLife.org.
For those of you NOT in the know, ThisAmericanLife.org is a Radio show that airs on NPR.org. It also comes as a free podcast and can be found easily at iTunes (it was number one as a podcast forever and may still be now as you read this). On this show, they do a fantastic job of explaining issues in our society through the recorded stories of our societies members most affected by the issue. For a very revealing, not always what you wanted to hear, but always painfully honest look at what’s going on in America, this is ...

When I take a lunch, I’m looking for a few things. Good, cheap food and a Wi-Fi Hotspot. When you put those together you usually don’t get a smile too.
Roly-Poly Sandwich shop on Walton Way Ext in Augusta does all of those.
The have a great list of salads, sandwiches, wraps, and stuff like that.
The place is always clean and comfortable. The staff has always offered to bring my lunch to me at my office for free (yes free delivery). That says a lot.
The price is a little up there, but I do go for the best thing on the menu.
The Santa Fe with Steak and a drink. All of that is about $8 bucks, but that is the large version. You could easily split that and be just fine on the hunger scale.
There’s a cafe spot outside and it’s off the street far enough to get some “Peace” from the ...

Writing a Loan Proposal that Gets Funded After a Credit Melt-Down
Why do some loans get approved while others get turned down flat? Often it’s because the applicant is not credit worthy at the time they apply. But many times, the applicant has failed to provide the “story”.
Loans proposals are like little news reports. Yep, that’s right. Like news reports tell the story of why someone needs to borrow money. More importantly, why the lender should invest in them.

Writing a loan proposal that gets funded is tough. After all, we did just have a credit melt-down and things have changed in the credit world to say the least. Using the 5 C’s of Credit forces you to rely on what lenders are looking for to start with. To speak the lender’s language.
The 5 C’s of Credit tell the story. The story is not only about your great idea, but why ...

Infantino Front 2 Back Rider Baby Carrier in Black and Grey
4 Thumbs up (that’s really good)
We have 2 kids. One is 4 and one is almost 4 months. When Gabby was born over 4 years ago, we were given 2 of these baby backpack contraptions. Neither of them worked. In fact, I swore them off and have lived pretty comfortably without one until Evan was born.
He’s a handful and a little bit of a “hold me please” kinda guy. We went back to the drawing board looking for the best one. We were faced with mortgaging the house for a Baby Bjorn or getting something sub-par. Then we found this. The Front-2-Back Baby Rider Backpack by Infantino.
This one is not only comfortable, it has support for the lumbar part of your spine. Best of all, it has the right amount of straps. Not so many that you could tie down ...
