Mom, are you my mother?

I never thought that i would say those words. For years, what i only knew is pain, anger and sadness. I used to cry each night finding answers on why a mother would leave her child and would never bother to care or look for her.

There are different stories of mother, some were happy, heroic and some were too sad that you could not help but cry. My life has been like a melo-dramatic movie or tele-serye. There was a time in my life that i gave up finding my real mother. I told myself that if she cares for me, she would find a way to find me or make the courage to talk with me. After all that's what they say about mothers.

But, i guess there are some point in your life that you will learn that life is not as easy as you could imagine. There are lots of questions that is better left unanswered. But just like any child who have no memory of their mother, the yearning is always there.

I have found my mom, if your too curious to know. Yes, i finally found her and meet her. I never thought that our first meeting would be that sad but it was an unexpected and i wished to erase that memory but the fact would still remain. I met her unexpectedly at the wake of my only brother in my birth place. My only brother whom i never had a chance to be with. Mom also left him at the same time she left me. It was a sad truth that we are all in the same place but too sad he could not see her. But even if it was a sad meeting, he became the bridge and my opportunity to finally meet our mother and I thought that would be my last memory of my mom.

she handed me to my grand mother who told her to never contact and visit me again.
It's my only comfort at time of sorrow, pain and fears.

After fifteen years, i got the chance to meet her again, because of my own effort to find her. (Thank God for Friendster and for NSO). My friend even told me to write at Wish ko lang, Reunion or even at Maala-ala mo kaya to find her.) But i'm a stubborn girl just as always but maybe that's stubbornness was also the same reason why i finally found her. The word "giving up" doesn't exist in my dictionary. My journey on finding her seems endless. It's like i'm finding a lost person that i thought i could never see again and along the way the feeling of not wanting to see her again. Next time, i know is, she looks like a different woman, different from what i have imagined about her. I was bound to ask, Mom, are you really my mother? But then, in your heart you will find the answer. She was indeed your mom. A part of you will say that she was and as much as you would want to deny the truth, you can't. Because, she filled the missing pieces of my fragile life and the over-flowing gratitude in my heart finally shows.

Being a mom is my greatest achievement in life.
I have learned that it's a very difficult feeling to be separated from my children
and for that reason, i have learned to forgive my mother.

I may never had the same feeling of having my own mother beside me and yes Mother's Day is one time of the year when I envy others because they can post pictures of their mothers or they can post a loving thought about them but even if i could not do it, i am very grateful for having one and for knowing her after several years of longing.

If there is one thing i have learned from her, is acceptance and being contented. Accept the truth that there are things bound to happen, destiny would find it's way to be fulfilled and be contented for what you have. I may never experienced a true love and caring of my real mother but being blessed with two adorable kids, I am grateful for learning the true essence of being one. I will always be forever grateful to her because i know in my heart that she loves and wanted me. It begins at the time when she gave birth of me, i know that time even i don't have that memory, i can feel her love and her sweet smile while holding me and the time when we were taken away from her, her tears will always be a sweet music in my ears and a melody in my heart.

Thank you MOM for all the love you have given me, for all the unspoken words, for all the sleepless nights of longing, for the endless tears, and the abundant prayer. I know even we were many miles apart from each other, we will always have a bond that nobody can get from us and even if i have said a million times that I hate you, it would be impossible to forget you because i know in my heart that i will always love you because your my mom, whatever I am today I owe to you. I pray someday and hope it's not too late that our paths will cross again. You will always be my MOM and i love you so much.

Break the heat this summer with misting fan

There's nothing more than i want than to have an unforgettable summer experience. Maybe a day at the beach or at a nearby swimming pool but this summer heat is really killing my veins and giving me stress too. Our electric fan have been open for almost twenty four hours a day and seven times a week and i wonder if a misting fan would be great enough to replace them.

Misting fan is more heavy duty and is much cooler than the ordinary electric fan but this kind of fan i believe is not applicable for small houses like ours. So, i have no other options but to just use our existing electric fan and hope that this heat would be over soon. But, with that wish is another wish that rain would not come that hard so nobody especially those who have previously stricken by flood could cope up with the new rain problems.

I always believe that the stars had a big influence on our lives. Just as well as our horoscope gives meaning of who we are but it doesn't necessarily that we should rely our hope and dreams on it. But isn't it just nice to know what good things will happen to our future even no body could really determine what lies ahead of us.

I have known some physchics in the past, they say they can somehow predict my future, that I would finally see the person i have been wanting to see in my life. It did happened and i guess, she was also right when she says that it was not a beautiful moment but full of tears and pain but that is what I have expected all alone but not the idea of seeing her at the wake of my own brother.

My past, present and future

Just as I always believe, life is what we make of it. Tarot or psychic could not fully determine what you will become but it can guide you somehow. If your looking for someone who could analyze your dreams or read your future, there's an online site that you can answer your questions, questions that ordinary people like your friend or your mother could not answer. Dreaming of my own Sun room

It's been a while since we wanted to have our front renovated but because of other things that need to prioritize, it was always postponed. A beautiful sun room is what i always imagined to incorporate in my future home but our house is small for it. I told hubby the idea of having one, something that looks like a patio but improvised in a way that it can also look as if it was a sun room so that the dust would not be me too much especially that our house was beside the main road of the subdivision.

Sun room is a great place to relax, sitting on a ratan chair over looking the beautiful flowers of my small garden and reading novels of my favorite '3 John's" author, John Lescroart, John Grisham and John Le Carre. But we are still considering the idea especially that the second floor of our front would be our future master bedroom, who knows my sun room will be finally built in the near future.

Summer is a very beautiful season. You get the chance to enjoy the beauty of nature and the lovely flowers that blooms on this month. This is the time that my favorite sunflower grows beautifully. It's a great decoration to any sunrooms or even beside your bed table or just leave them on their pot or in the soil to enjoy it's full bloom. Sunrooms are a great place to stay when you don't want to experience too much heat of the sun and would be extra lovely when decorated with beautiful flowers.

Sunflowers had been my favorite flower since my childhood of course aside from water lily which i so adore too. Whenever i see one, my heart and my lips shows a big smile. I do hope that i can grow my own sunflower too but just don't have the time to take care of them yet.

A Mayon Adventure

Honestly, i have been wanting to go to Legazpi but i could not find the right time to do so. It's just that we are occupied or it happens that I am pregnant. I have been hearing good things about Lignon Hills and the other places and yes, i have been dying to eat that delicious pinangat pasta on one of the restaurant there.

I hope it would come true this May. I'm joining a contest and i am hoping to win. Please do help me gain votes. I will post other details on the next post. Thank you so much.

Miracle do works

Looking at the screen. Thinking how this miracle works. You could imagine how much would be the excitement to see such a beautiful creature was formed from such a tiny cell. And the mother smiles, saying that she would do anything to take care of the child and she did. And the nine long months came to end and she held the baby in her hand and her whole world come to an end because the father would eventually deny the fact that the baby was his. This story is not a fiction or can only be found on movies and books, it actually does. Good thing because there is already a paternity test at DNACenter.com that will eventually solve their problem. At just one test, it could reveal the truth behind every question but the most difficult part of it is to move on.

I hope this would just be another story to tell but if this happens to you, don't worry, this is not the worst scenario.

Dogs are man's best friend

Just like the saying goes, dogs are indeed man's best friend and this dog can give so much happiness especially for my kids who adores them. I have been wanting to buy one with a wood dog crate for it to transfer to our house but i was not too sure about the idea of bringing home a dog instead a toy.

I wish i could make her happy by giving her a nice puppy but i told her that needs to wait for some time even his father is keep on giving the idea, that she would definitely gave a nice deposit to begin with.

What would you do if you owned a Peavey Guitars? I would probably sing all day and night and take the advantage of learning so much how to play the guitars. I'm happy to know that my family loves to play the guitars. But i'm not. So, it was quite sad.

I remember the time, i was able to do so but i could not think clearly and even someone is teaching me how to play the guitar my hands are just too hard to play. I guess the music thing is not just really for me. I lack the talent and my ears are not inclined too. As much as i wanted to learn , i think it would be too old for me to begin that now. But my kids, especially Peachy would be totally excited if she learns how to play the guitar. She have been playing with her toy guitar for a time i could not count and learning the real guitar would make her so much happy. I wish we can have the money for her to enroll on a music class.

Camping Moments

Thinking of the time, i was in my high school days, my grand mother would not allow me to go camping with my school mates even if it would be done inside the campus. She was too afraid for me to be in the outside world alone but she never did imagine that she's actually not helping me to be prepared into the outside world. I have known some friends who even goes camping on a nearby beach or mountains, equipped with their North Face Sleeping Bags, they would go camping with the approval of their parents.

But due to the fact that it's my grand mother who has the final say if i could go or what, i will end up staying at home and crying while my classmates would be happily chatting and seeing the beautiful moon or singing.

It's been a year since i wanted to buy a new laptop but with some financial reasons I wasn't able to get one. I am eyeing a net book in the mall with a 0% interest for a year but the problem is it's small monitor and small keyboard which will be a huge adjustment for me. Another fact is that it doesn't have a built-in hard drive and you need to find an External Hard Drives to save some of my big files.

It's good thing to have an external hard drive because you can bring it anywhere you go and wherever you need your files but one problem i see about it is the fact that you can easily get virus or problems. This kind of gadgets are very in demand today and many have been using it for convenience and extra storage.

The Village- LRV Agri-Science Farm and Resort

Visita Iglesia was typically done during Maundy Thursday but we were not able to go out that day. So, we decided to have our visita iglesia the following day. Along with the seven churches we visit, Calabanga Church, Quipayo- Calabanga Church, Magarao Church, Bombon Church, San Felipe Church, Basilica Minore, San Francisco Church (Naga City).Hubby decided to visit "The Village" or commonly known as LRV's Agri Science Farm and Resort at San Bernardino, Calabanga. I guess it was owned by Governor LRay hence the name. The place is just little bit too far and around 30 minutes from the centro of Calabanga which is around two hours perhaps from the Naga City proper.

Anyway, the motor ride is really hot considering the warm sun but it's a good thing though because it would be hard if it was raining. The heat is bearable but I got sun burn afterwards.

So, here are some pictures of us in the resort. Entrance is Php 50.00 but if your going for a swim, you need to pay another Php. 150.00.

Goodbye Long Hair, Hello Beautiful Hair

They say that the woman's hair is our crown and glory so everybody wants to be at her best when it comes to our hair. We are even willing to spent thousand of pesos just to make it beautiful, manageable, long and shiny.

But sometimes, when things go rough, our hair is the first thing that experience our wrath. My hair had transform into many styles before. Long, short, curly, anime style, wavy, shaggy, with bangs or without, colored, perhaps the only style i was not able to try is to being bald but i guess that's out of list and I would not want to have it that way.

Changing your hair styles takes a lot of attitude and courage too. I guess, you also need to be adventurous when it comes on choosing your perfect hair style. I'm not a good in style but i know a beautiful hair when i see one.

Prayer - Why do you pray?

lWhy do you pray? They say faith can move mountains and prayers is one step closer to God. Whatever religion you might have, prayer was indeed a mighty formula of your faith.

Sometimes, we pray to give us strength in time of problems and worries. We pray for guidance, to lead us to the things we needed to do. We pray for our children, our love ones, our friends and sometimes we also pray for our enemies. We pray for someone who is suffering of pain or dying. Prayer for our country and the one who leads it is one thing i bet you also do.

We pray when we are happy, to give thanks to all the things we had and we don't have and we even pray that we can overcome the trials in this world. There are many kind of prayers, some are specific, some can be elaborated and some can be informal. Why do you really pray?

Prayers are basically talking to the one we believe in. It is a way of discovering the faith we have within us. Sometimes, we feel that it was complicated. It doesn't need a certain or specific place for us to pray. We can pray whatever and whenever we wanted too. But of course, there is specific place we called " House of God" for us to say our prayers.

Sometimes, we felt that our prayers are futile and we don't get result from it. But don't falter, our prayers might be unanswered today but it is not because the Good Lord doesn't hear it or did not recognize it but he certainly had reasons , far greater that we could imagine.

Mega Millions

I'm gonna be a millionaire, so frickin bad. Phrase from the famous american song. Those words are often said by many.

Who would not want to be a millionaire? Having the thoughts of getting mega millions is something worth dreaming especially for someone like me. Each day, million of people are taking their chance to bet for what they think was the lucky numbers and lottery tickets are safe guarded with their life.

Although, I don't regularly bet, if I pass by on one of our lotto outlet and i felt that i had that great chance to win, i usually pick my favorite numbers. I haven't had the chance to win the millions (isn't it obvious, i'm still making this post, LOL) but if i would be lucky and the Good Lord would permit to have, i would never hesitate to share my wonderful blessings to all the people who influence and give significant meaning in my life. After all, i owe them the happiness i have now.
