Sabbah Navahthani tocan un estilo incendiario de Sludge/Doom, con una fuerte dosis de D-beat Crust mezclado totalmente con la vieja escuela del Black Metal con un sentimiento necro total. Con un trabajo de guitarra cortante como el de una motosierra por parte de Christ, el corte a través de gruñidos distorsionados de Tas, mientras que la nada menos que absolutamente aplastante sección rítmica se le suma a el demoledor sonido del bajo y la brutal batería de Philip, Sabbah Navahthani caminan penosamente así como algún tipo madereras leviatán de un tanque adornado con cráneos, clavos y cadenas.

Ol' Scratch es un quinteto gigante de doom provenientes de la zona de Virginia. Formados en sus comienzos en garajes pobres en 2003 y después de muchos cambios de alineación la banda ahora cuenta con ex miembros de Lord, Black Canary y VOG, ellos estan definitivamente influenciado en abundancia por el traditional doom . El doble ataque de guitarras de James y Will define un sonido sludge metal con toques sureños tocado al límite. Sumándole una sección rítmica atronadora con Steve en el bajo y Larry en la batería, con Andy, un cantante con un rango vocal raro para el género, completan la formación. . Cargando todo en una camioneta con una pared de amplificadores Sunn , Ol' Scratch es una máquina de gira, tocando desde Maine hasta Florida y desde DC a Los Ángeles han salido de gira y tocó con leyendas del doom como Trouble, Weedeater, Sourvein, Alabama Thunderpussy y Kylesa. Actualmente están de gira con su aclamado álbum debut titulado " The Sunless Citadel " (OSSR Records), la banda ya había editado varios EP y un Split, en 2005 "Blood Puddin '", 2006 " Lord/Ol' Scratch Split ", 2007 " In Nex Illic Est Vita " y en 2008 " The Polar Bear Sessions”. Ol' Scratch tiene programado lanzar un split con los titanes del sludge de Carolina del Norte Sourvein. Esta es la historia detrás de la química de Freedom Hawk. Todo comenzó con T.R. y Mark, en 1996, dos hombres que habían aprendió a tocando sus instrumentos por sí solos. Se conocieron a través de un amigo común que también tocaba música. Durante años ensayaron con diferentes bateristas, pero nunca consiguieron nada juntos. T.R. se mudó a Florida, ambos por caminos separados siguen juntándose con otros músicos. T.R. regresó en 2000 con cuatro pistas y comenzaron a grabar sus ensayos. Con Lenny se conocieron a través de un amigo común en 2004 que había estado en un montón de bandas antes de que se conocieron. Lenny es un baterista con buenos dotes para la improvisación. Estaba interesado y le gustaba el estilo de música que estaban tocando pero ellos todos sintieron los cambios y sabían que dirección ir después, pero ellos sintieron los cambios y sabían a qué dirección irían después. Continuaron durante casi un año, cuando Lenny propuso poner algo de estructura a las improvisaciones y convertirlas en canciones. T.R. quería engordar el sonido y añadir otro guitarrista. Probaron un par de guitarristas, pero no dio resultado. Hasta que prueban a el hermano de Mark, Matt en 2005. Matt es un guitarrista impresionante y musicalmente entrenados, lo que contribuyó aún más al sonido. Fue la pieza final que hizo completar la banda. Grabaron un demo con cuatro canciones. El primer nombre que surgió fue Down Green Well, que vino de donde ensayaban. Tocaron algunos shows con ese nombre, pero la banda quería cambiarlo. T.R. no siente que el nombre represente el sonido y lo cambió a la Freedom Hawk sin consultar a la banda. Se suponía que iba a cambiar de Freedom Hawk a otra cosa, pero nunca lo hizo. El grupo adoptó el nombre y ha seguido con él. El primer show que tocaron bajo el nombre Freedom Hawk fue con Year Long Disaster y Throttlerod. Desde el primer show de la banda no ha puesto freno... editaron un ep en 2007 ¨Universal¨ y su primer álbum ¨Sunlight¨ 2008. Siguen escribiendo música nueva y hacienda extensas giras. La más notable es Volcom tours, Surf / Skate / Snow Expos y festivales / eventos todo a lo largo de la costa este de la ciudad de Nueva York a Florida. Ellos han compartido escenario y giras con muchas grandes bandas tales como Year Long Disaster, Nebula, Totimoshi, Parlor Mob, Burning Brides, Beaten Back to Pure, The Needles, Candy Snatchers, Sourvein, ASG, Thunderlip, Revery, Throttlerod, Valkyrie, Wooly Mammoth y muchas más ...

Goat Horn es una banda de heavy metal fundada en Pembroke, Ontario, Canada a finales de 1999. La banda estaba compuesta por Jason Decay (voz / bajo), Brandon Wars (guitarra) y del Steel Rider (batería). Decay, Wars y Rider ya habían participado de varias bandas de la escena local, antes de formar Goat Horn. Lo que empezó como una banda que hacia covers de Cathedral y Judas Priest en los ensayos rápidamente se convirtió en un proyecto serio. . Su música fue influenciado por las bandas innovadoras del metal como Venom, Raven, Eudoxis (banda thrash metal pionera de su pais), y Celtic Frost. Made Out of Babies es una banda de Brooklyn, Nueva York. Una dosis en partes iguales de leyendas de noise-rock como The Jesus Lizard y de post-metal como Isis, la banda desarrolló muchos seguidores rápidamente después del lanzamiento de su álbum debut, ¨ Trophy¨. Sus 2 primeros álbums fueron lanzados por Neurot Recordings, la casa de bandas post-metal y post-rock como Isis, Neurosis, y Red Sparowes. Actualmente tienen un contrato con The End Records con quienes lanzaron su más reciente álbum "The Ruiner". La vocalista Julie Christmas también cantó en Battle of Mice,el guitarrista Brendan Tobin también toca en Red Sparowes, el bajista Eric Cooper también toca en Pigs, y se rumorea que contribuyente en el proyecto paralelo grindcore del vocalista Geoff Rickley de Thursday, United Nations y el baterista Matthew Egan toca también en Cleanteeth.

Después de dos álbumes de larga duración Unhold reune fuerzas en "Gold Cut", una vez más estableciendo la tarea de combinar la belleza y la bestia en una criatura híbrida única-feroz, intimidante, bella y atractiva. " Gold Cut " es el resultado de cuatro años de duro trabajo, reduciendo toneladas de material a 9 canciones de algo más de cincuenta minutos Con el fin de recoger lo que banda dejo con " Loess " dejó la banda, un peaje tuvo que ser pagada para tomar lo que aventuran un paso más lejos en la fabricación de este registro. Unhold, ahora en su mejor momento, se asoció con unos pocos buzos expertos y tomó una inmersión profunda en un pozo sin fondo que s este proyecto,donde todo el mundo ha cedido, entregado, y resultado casi ileso. . Hacer el cambio de conciencia y mantener con honor lo que dejan atrás. El trabajo en la modestia y la cosecha cuando el tiempo es debido. Unhold está activo desde 1992 y tal vez podría describirse como un híbrido procedente del metal de principios de los noventa y noiserock empapado de la visión del mundo y la rabia hardcore.
