Happy Sunday!  A cute and simple little card for you.  I (might have mentioned before) am *so* ready for spring to arrive.  This little stamp just says "spring" to me so I just could not resist using it.  I just barely colored in the wool and then I covered these fuzzy little ladies in sparkly ultra fine glitter.  They shimmer and shine *love*  I added a few paper flowers to add to the "spring"iness of the card.  I colored both the flower and the rhinestone with my copics to match the card better.

This week's Mojo Monday sketch is a fun one!  I always love the last week of the month sketches since they offer such fun shapes :)  I dug (literally) this little stamp out of the depths of my stamp room.  It's been *far* too long since she's been used.  I am SO ready for spring to arrive and thought she fit my longing perfectly.  I colored her in using my copics and added a touch of stickles for the flower center.  I used the Fun Flower sizzix die to make the flower.  The flower is finished off by a fabric brad in the center.   I *love* this card!!!  I am SO pleased with how it turned out. Just one of those cute little cards to brighten anyone's day!

I've been "bad" about playing along with challenges lately even though I love them!!  I'm ready to jump back in with both feet though :)  Challenges give me a great starting point for my stamping sessions.  I find that once I do a challenge card or two, I'm on a nice stamping roll.  Thanks for hanging in with me while I've been slacking a bit.  I do appreciate it!

Quick and easy little card for you today.  This cute little lion stamp is *old*!!!  I think he is one of the first stamps I purchased way back when I started stamping.  Since March is starting this week, I thought I would bring March in like a lion myself (and maybe spare myself some nasty weather *wink*).  I wanted to make this a simple card though so rather than color in my lion I paper pieced him.  Such a fun, quick way to add some color to your image :)  A little fuzzy flocking for his mane and he is done!  Super simple, super easy, SUPER cute!

so the week hiatus turned into almost a month :/  Turns out I had an unexpected gallbladder removal about 2 weeks ago.  The actual recovery took about a week and then it's been about another week to get back to "life".  Things have been a little crazy and sadly the blog (and stamping) have gotten the back burner.  *sigh* but it's slowly getting back to "normal" so I should have plenty to share soon enough :)

I finally "forced" myself to get down into the stamp room and make the thank you cards for Elizabeth's birthday party (eeek!  which was a full month ago-shame on me!!!!).  I made them SUPER simple so I could get them done fast!  It was hard (for me) to leave them quite so "plain" but I figured getting them out was more important than getting them embellished.  I did have to add just a teeny tiny bit of glitter in the flower centers, I couldn't let them go without *any* bling!!!

I'm not quite sure what I would do if there happened to be a penguin in my cupcake but he sure is cute no?  Seriously simple card today-like one of those "I should be embarrassed" easy cards.  I didn't even do any kind of embossing on the background paper.  Just a simple run of ribbon down the center and then a cute little scallop edge.  A few pearls give it a little something something but not too much.  Just a SIMPLE fun little birthday card :)  Enjoy!

*sigh* vacation is officially over. Yesterday was the little lady's 5th birthday (yikes how did *that* happen?!?!?!??!)  She's been lucky enough to spend every birthday in Disney World so far and since she was three she's been to the Bippity Boppity Boutique for a princess makeover for her birthday as well.  So it was only fitting that I make her a princess birthday card :)  Now truly I should have made this card in red since that's Elizabeth's favorite color but I thought a pink princess was just too cute.....she'll just have to deal *wink*
