Making up for Wednesday’s missed page! Another is on its way soon.

At some point while writing the story for Messenger, I decided to place part of the story in Buffalo, New York, for some reason or another I can’t completely remember right now. I’m from the region, so I thought it’d be interesting if a place I knew was featured in a comic, because I’m not sure if it ever has been. Even if I end up drawing it in myself, ha ha ha. I didn’t base the buffalo statue on any one building in particular, I just knew I wanted to do a rooftop scene and it seemed like a place to throw in a location reference. I rescripted this whole scene a zillion times over anyway.

Anyway, this is probably the only and biggest reference to geographical location in the comic so far, simply because no one refers to places by the names we use in the present anymore. Because the comic takes place in the United States, I definitely plan to include other real locations throughout the story!
