I’m hosting an Artist Trading Card (ATC) swap at the Coconut Scrapshop. Head on over to the Coconut Message board to find out all the fun details HERE! The deadline to sign up is tomorrow evening!

I’ll be heading out for field training tomorrow, so this will probably be my only post for this week. Also, I start an online Algebra class tomorrow (gag!).

I’ll share a couple of pages I made this week. The first was a challenge but I didn’t finish it on time, which is ok…because I had more time to get the result I wanted. The majority of this page is from Scrap Muse’s June kit.

The second page is one from my Honor Guard days at the USAF Academy. The photo is almost 10 years old, holy cow! I look so young and innocent, LOL! This is also the second page that I created from Coconut Scrapshop’s July Kit, “Liberty”. Got to love that Scenic Route stuff!

That’s it for now. It’s time to take the kiddos to the pool, enjoy the rest of your Sundays!

Wow, another four day weekend has come and gone. I love them and dread them. I love them because it’s more time to spend with the family, more time to relax and unwind, and less time to think about my upcoming deployment. I dread them because it’s that much harder to go back into work and another day closer to heading over to the sandbox. *SIGH*

We took the kids to a matinee today to see Wall E. It was Tahlia’s and Isaiah’s first movie in a theater and they did amazingly well! I thought the movie was ok. I guess I just expected more from all the hype that the movie is getting. Jayda, of course, loved it. Maybe I’m just finally outgrowing “G” rated movies. Who knew that was possible?

I have two scrappin’ related toots to share with you all. First, the page that I posted yesterday, “All American Boy” received Layout of the Week (July 7th) by the DT over at Paper Popsicles. This is the first time any of my pages has received such recognition, so I’m STOKED! It may seem minor to most, but to me it’s major. Of course, I scrap for myself and my family…but it’s always nice to hear other people appreciating your pages, KWIM?

Second toot, I received an email from Lynette congratulating me on making the design team for Scrap That Moment. Come again? I did what? WOOHOO! I’m excited for this amazing opportunity and the girls I will be working with are so talented! The website and shop are currently under construction, but once everything is up and running I will be sure to let you guys know!

Alrighty, that’s it for now. I still have kiddos that are awake…so I’m going to sign off. Toodles.

I hope everyone had a wonderful and safe 4th of July! The long weekend is exactly what I needed. This weekend has been a very productive and creative one! I have quite of few projects that I would like to share with you all, so check back tomorrow to see the results.

I will leave you with one page this evening. The page is for my son, Isaiah. I received my July kit from Coconut Scrapshop on Saturday and it featured the awesome “Liberty” line from Scenic Route. I had bought Tahlia and Isaiah some patriotic swimsuits a couple of weeks ago and these papers were perfect to scrap some photos from our pool days.

Supplies:
Patterned Papers -Scenic Route “Liberty” from Coconut’s July Kit
Buttons - Scenic Route “Liberty”
Making Memories - Tiny Alpha
Heidi Swap - “She” Chipboard Alphabet
Autumn Leaves - Talking in Circles “Boys”
Stars - SU! Punches

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday evening and I hope your week gets off to a great start!
