Little Italy is a pastiche of the music from the film The Godfather (original soundtrack by Nino Rota). The instrumentation mirrors that of Rota's in his original soundtack. This includes the use of guitar and classical orchestration of the clarinets and other winds. The main theme is played on a lonely trumpet.

Thunder came about because Steve and I wanted to compose a track that had Lord of the Rings influences. The original soundtrack was composed by Howard Shore. Like Shore we have created a dark and menacing soundscape that creates an atmosphere of impending doom with a small glimmer of hope shining through. This soundscape is produced by combining orchestra with choir.

Welcome to mf music podcasting. mf music combines the musical talents of Steve Morgan and Christopher Frost. Together they have composed a vast array of music. These include orchestral scores, pop and rock songs and other contemporary scores that are predominately aimed at the TV and film market.

mf music intend to podcast some of their music so that listeners can gain access to samples of their work. Their music can also be found on the far left hand side of the mp3 page at http://chrisfrostmusic.com

The first podcast consists of a track called Rocking Nuns and was composed, recorded and produced within the last couple of months in their world class studio. This should give a taster of what mf music is all about.

Chris: "I find this track quite spooky and atmospheric. It combines strong rock ideas with our choir sounds and works well."
