			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>From <a href="http://speirs.org/blog/2012/1/2/misconceptions-about-ios-multitasking.html">Fraser Speirs</a> commenting on the advice the people receive, even from Apple Geniuses, to manually kill apps to free up memory:</p>

  <p>the iOS multitasking bar does not contain &#8220;a list of all running apps&#8221;. It contains &#8220;a list of recently used apps&#8221;. The user never has to manage background tasks on iOS.</p>
</blockquote>

<p>There are exceptions, but none that you can do anything about.</p>
