What holds most people back from fulfilling their true potential is their pre-conceived ideas, and self limiting restrictions born out of past experiences.

This is where all your best attributes come together, the combination which is sublime. If you can match your career path in life with your unique set of attributes at the convergence of the circles, you will be aligning your passion with your career.

You will have connected yourself with your soul and life purpose!

The Process Of Planning                                                                                 .

Once you have found your passion you have to plan to make it happen. Be proactive.

To do this you need as much information about your chosen path as you can find. Use the pyramid method of information evaluation shown below…

That’s right, absolutely nothing. You will continue as you are.

It is within your power to change and take control of your life back from society. Be proactive in your life, find what you are best at in the convergence of the circles. Then rigorously plan, apply, review, and evolve your plan for life.

Definateness of Purpose

…by aligning your definite purpose in life with your career, you can achieve complete success and harmony of life.

Just look around you at your colleagues, friends, and uncles etc. List how many of them complain about their work or seem out of sorts; which are unhappy with their lot in life, how many can’t wait for the weekend and are just filling in time.

Do you want to end up the same way? Of course you don’t, and you won’t if you convert your definite purpose into your career, your labour of love.

Recognising Your Life Purpose

So how do you recognise your burning desire, your definiteness of purpose?

It will speak to you from your heart and soul remember.

Your life purpose will reflect what you naturally do best, and will include your intrinsic talents and skills.

What are your core values, what do you see yourself doing, do you have any social or ecological concerns, what does success mean to you – happiness, abundance of love, or monetary wealth?

Keep a notebook to jot down all your thoughts, desires, talents and skills, observations, concerns and values. A pattern will establish itself until a clear path is revealed.

Once you recognise your true life purpose the hard part is over. Now focus your mind and direct it to follow your purpose down the road of achievement and success. Look up How To Define Your Life Goals to see how to establish a plan of action, goal setting, and to start success forming habits.

As you progress with your plans and get your conscious career on track, remember this ethic uttered by Napoleon Hill and Buddha before him…

“I fully realise that no wealth or position can long endure, unless built upon truth and justice, therefore I will engage in no transaction which does not benefit all whom it affects. I will succeed by attracting to myself the forces I wish to use, and the cooperation of other people. I will induce others to serve me, because of my willingness to serve others. I will eliminate hatred, envy, jealousy, selfishness, and cynicism, by developing love for all humanity, because I know that a negative attitude toward others can never bring me success. I will cause others to believe in me, because I will believe in them, and in myself.”

…or more simply condensed just remember the tenet ‘you reap what you sow’.

Then at the end title a page ‘My Definite Purpose In Life’ and condense all your thoughts and notes from the above headings onto this page.

Go away for an hour or two, then return to what you have written and see your purpose illuminated as if for the first time!

Social bookmarking is a great way to generate free website traffic for your new site. You want to get your site ranked in the search engines so it gets a place in the search results for your keyword, so you drive attention to it via the social bookmarking sites.

The Basics

It’s no use having great content on your site, offering insight and value, if nobody knows it exists except yourself!

You must remember that search engines rank pages and not whole sites, so every important page must be optimized for it’s niche keywords then bookmarked, whether that be a money page or promoting page.

Why use social bookmarking you may ask? Because it’s an easy way to generate those valuable one-way backlinks that the search engines love so much! If you consistently promote every important page and every niche keyword, the search engines will notice and reward you.

Ok, so that’s the why, now for the how.

A good website traffic generating strategy just doesn’t rely on bookmarking in a couple of your favourite sites like del.icio.us and digg or reddit, you should use up to 20 different bookmarking sites.

Then when you have the knack of it, open up 10 different accounts in each of the 20 sites! That’s a lot of work I grant you, so you use a free automated software to help you, like Onlywire where you can submit any page to up to 33 bookmarking sites simultaneously at the press of a button.

A word of warning. Don’t go mad by submitting 200 bookmarks all at once because you will draw unwanted attention from the search engines. Make it look more natural by bookmarking only one or two accounts at each bookmarking site at a time. Follow up the following week with two or three more accounts etc.

Intensified Bookmarking

Ok, so now you have the basic strategy going, you can intensify the process by developing some promoter pages then bookmarking them too!

Build a promotion squidoo lens and a hubpage with links pointing back to the important pages on your site. Submit you blog to two or three blog directories and place the page URL you want to promote in your profile. Then bookmark them in the 20 different bookmarking sites and different accounts to draw the world’s attention to them also.

Using only four bookmarking sites there are 16 links to create, plus the links in the promoters and directories.

Every time you publish a podcast or video, make sure they are linked back to your web page using the appropriate keyword in the anchor text, then promote them with your social bookmarking campaign too.

Every time you promote and link, you are generating link love with the search engines, informing them that here is an interesting page!

There you go, it looks a little complicated at first, but it’s not and you’ll soon get the hang of it. So get going and generate some link love!

I was thinking about personal goal setting, as a means to injecting success into your life the other day, and I came across an article at Mindtools.com which caught my attention.

You may remember that I have mentioned goal setting previously in your personal path to freedom series, and that whatever the mind can concieve, it has been shown that with a burning desire that is enthusiastically acted upon – through a planned set of goals – it will inevitably be achieved.

The beauty of goal setting is that they can be applied to all areas of your life…

• Education
• Relationships
• Finances
• Career
• Sport

…to improve your performances, achievements, social standing, or well being. Whatever the focus you must always remember your lifetime goals.

These must be part of a set plan of action that is broken down into bite-sized chunks, with definate time targets, say 1-month, 6-months, 1-year, 5-years etc. Further to this, you must have a set of daily tasks that can be ticked off as they are achieved.

…For example, instead of having “to sail around the world” as a goal, it is more powerful to say “To have completed my trip around the world by December 31, 2015.” Obviously, this will only be attainable if a lot of preparation has been completed beforehand!  ~Mindset.com

If you don’t already know your passion, your lifes desire, then focus on what it is you really want right now! After that, write down a loose plan of action with just an end year. Follow this up with a detailed plan with specific goals set against target dates. Breakdown the first goal into daily, weekly, or monthly tasks. Do this for the next goal as it approaches.

Continually monitor your results, reviewing and revising where necessary.

Remember, a desire or goal without a plan of action, is simply a wish and will never be achieved. Sieze the day!

This simple statement has been the dream goal of many free thinkers over the ages, from Christ to John Lennon.

The truth is, they were right!

Planet Earth is shrinking, a fact becoming more and more apparant as the human population approaches 7 billion in the 21st century.

We face such problems as…

• Reduction in Biodiversity with threatened mass extinctions
• Greater Famine is threatened by climate change
• Dwindling Energy Resources is threatened by increasing demand
• Shrinking Ice Caps causing Rising Oceans
  

…which are more and more in the news today than they ever were in the past.

As a consequence, we are all drawn closer together – joined by the global commons of atmosphere, oceans and climate.

You see, we humans have been taught throughout our existence, that the Earth and all other living things on it, are simply resources to be used for our benefit and comfort.

If we carry on with this attitude what will the future hold? When will we reach the limit of the resource base, when The Earth no longer has the capacity to sustain our growing consumption?

Make no mistake, when this stage is reached it will not be Earth that suffers. It has survived 5 major extinction events, a Snowball effect where almost all the surface was glaciated, and a runaway Greenhouse effect where there was no ice at all in the polar regions.

It will be the human race that picks up the bill with many other organisms along with us. This gives everyone of us a stake in sustaining the planet, a common goal — One World, One Race, One Life.

You see dear reader, The Earth is not and never was a resource. It is primarily our home, environment and society being interdependant, we therefore have a stake in keeping it habitable. That means not interfering with natural processes, in particular the natural distribution of temperature, namely solar energy, across the planet. This is automatically regulated by…

• Weather Systems
• Ocean Currents
• Atmosphere–Ocean coupling
• Forest/Plankton Photosynthesis

…involving many positive and negative feedback systems too involved to get into here.

Deforestation and massive anthropogenic Carbon Dioxide production directly influence these processes.

So what are we gonna do about it?

What indeed can any individual do about global issues?

It is my opinion that our personal growth brings to us an open mind, which in turn, makes us aware of other peoples and of the environment we live in. Global issues, our uniqueness, and our vulnerability become our concerns. We are able to accept complicated concepts that affect our actions.

You see, an open mind brings awareness bringing concern which leads to action — this is a mark of how far our personal growth has progressed.

Our journey of personal growth ultimately leads us to conclude that our existence is futile without the people most dear to us, those whom we depend on for our happiness and well-being.

Our destiny, our life is irrevocably intertwined with our own social group, and with all the unknown people with which we share a kinship by virtue of calling planet Earth home.

What can we do about it? Make every single day the best you can. In nurturing our home, our environment, we serve not only ourselves, but our One World, One Race, One Life

These are the words of the original post on this subject, but unfortunately after 100 viewings, nobody has suggested their own 7 best attributes. This leads me to believe that the subject is popular, but that people are looking for the definition of the attributes, but do not wish to share their own thoughts as yet.

It therefore falls to me to help the discussion along the way, by sharing with you my own thoughts regarding the 7 best attributes.

So here we go…

1. Imagination

This is the first requirement for any entrepreneur. Without this faculty it’s not possible to concieve of, and then formulate, a plan with which to accomplish the desired outcome.

2. Desire

The entrepreneur must have a burning desire, a passion, that will drive them forward, enabling the execution of the plan. Sometimes this may only be by small steps, at others, giant leaps forward. Definiteness of purpose mixed with a burning desire does not recognise failure.

3. Faith And Conviction

You must know that without faith in the plan, or in their own abilities, that the entrepreneur may fail at the first difficult hurdle. Remember, that the loss of one small skirmish does not mean the loss of the battle. The entrepreneur must remain focused and convinced that success is ultimately theirs.

4. Persistence

The entrepreneur must take persistent action to complete each small step of the plan. Form habits that are consistent with achieving their goals, and form a daily routine consistent with promoting the plan.

5. Knowledge And Adaptation

Knowledge is power, but only when used correctly. The entrepreneur will be continually garnering knowledge on their chosen niche, then implementing any new knowledge, through imagination, by incorperating it into the plan. To stay ahead of the game, it is necessary to learn then to adapt.

6. Courage

The entrepreneur must be able to control their mind to such an extent, as to banish indecision, doubt and fear. The first leads to the second thence to the third – Fear. While in this state of mind there is no doubt that their goals will never be achieved. Whether they aspire for financial, material, spiritual, or mental goals, the entrepreneur will need courage, determination and will-power. With these in control, fear cannot get a foot hold in their mind.

7. Generosity Of Heart

First give Before Receiving. This is a basic tenet of living a decent life. If the entrepreneur wishes to be recognised as a leader, then they must give of their knowledge. If you wish to have friends give of your friendship. Remember, you reap what you sow, so the entrepreneur must spread themselves wide and far.

With these characteristics there is no doubt the entrepreneur will succeed, but what is success. How do we measure success. Is it by the bank balance, good standing in society, admiration from your peers?

I think this quotation by Raplh Waldo Emerson sums up success nicely…

“To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children…to leave the world a better place…to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.”

If you are Affiliate Marketing and using Article Marketing as a means to promote your products, search engine optimization (SEO) will be important to you.

In fact, it is absolutely central in getting your article ranked on the first page of google or yahoo. To become ranked on the first page of a particular niche, or even #1 on page 1 is the holy grail of SEO.

You see whilst SEO is virtually free, it does cost a lot of time to get the strategy right. That said, you can achieve #1 ranking when the sponsored pay-per-click (PPC) ads on page 1 can be costing up to $5 or more per click, to be where you are for free!

This is the attraction of SEO, if you don’t want to, or can’t spend a lot of money with google adwords, then SEO is your only alternative. Because if you are stuck down on page 5 or 10 or 20 your marketing ability is severely limited.

So, what are the 5 key factors necessary to achieving a page 1 ranking in the search engines when using SEO?

1. What Doesn’t Work In SEO To Improve Your Ranking

A lot is said about having a keyword rich title, where your niche keyword is included, and then again in the body every 100 words or so.

Nobody knows exactly how googles algorithm works, its complex and robotic in nature. It does however, pay less attention to what’s actually in the article, than to who is linking to or voting for it.

Ranking wise, it has as little as 2-percent to do with the reason for a sites rank, so you can’t spread your keyword all over the place and leave it at that!

2. What Your Competition Is Doing

You need to look at the existing top 10 ranked listings for your niche keyword(s) in google, and analize why they are where they are. Are they content sites, blogsite articles, or directory articles.

You need to know what their exact keywords are. How many pages have links and where do they link to. Is anchor text being used, and what is it. How many backlinks do they have from other sites.

This leads us neatly onto the next important factor.

3. Who Is Linking To Them

Are they authority sites, what is their pagerank (PR), how many are .com’s, .gov’s, or .net’s etc.

What are their names and are they relevent to the niche or not. What is their relation to each other, and how does this help to achieve their current ranking.

4. What You Have To Do To Your Article To Get It Ranked #1

Put simply, you have to emulate them, but to rank over them, you have to be a little smarter.

If your article is posted on your own blogsite, chances are that your site doesn’t have a pagerank (PR), which means that without SEO it will rank poorly in the search engines.

That’s why you have to get your own authority links, more than your competitors have. Link to high PR sites, to high PR competitors, to relevent directories. Ensure your links are higher ranked, more relevent, and in greater number.

If you place your article in a directory like EzineArticles then you benefit from that sites ranking. Ezine in fact have PR6. This alone won’t get your article onto page 1 though. To achieve this you will need to submit your article to 100 other article directories, and link them all back to the original ezine article. This creates backlinks that the google spiders will follow thus giving the original article greater importance.

A note here about duplicate submissions. A lot has been made about google duplicate content penalties, but I have not found it to be the case and neither have some of my more illustrious associates. Read This to clear up any concerns you have.

5. Find The Most Highly Ranked Authority Websites To Link To Your Blogsite

This is the hard part. Searching for the types of links mentioned above, maintaining relevency, actually obtaining the backlinks, this is all very time consuming.

It is an art which takes time to master, but is very rewarding as you watch your site’s ranking climb until you are ranked #1!

There are 2 ways to conduct your SEO; you either pay for it done by professionals, or you do it yourself.

If you pay for it, then you must deduct it from your return on investment (ROI), as in PPC marketing. If however you do it yourself, then it becomes FREE, except for the SEO software you will need to purchase, but this can be spread over any number of projects to limit the impact on your ROI to a few dollars.

Oh yes, you will need some specialized software for the task of accumulating knowledge on your competitors, to formulate your stategy, and to find and implement the high PR website backlinks you are going to need.

On paper it doesn’t look so easy I grant you, but with the right software it becomes less of a task, and you may enjoy the art of SEO!

Making money on the internet through affiliate/article marketing isn’t the quick way to make a buck. It does however grow slowly at first, then with increased momentum as your articles populate around the internet.
