As we draw ever nearer to the end of our journey at Al’s Den, we take time to reflect on the experiences we’ve shared here and the friends we’ve made along the way.

How much does that sound like a commencement speech? But really, as cheesy as that is, we’ve really loved playing music with all these talented people, and we’re that we only have two shows left (Fri & Sat nights, 7PM).

To say goodbye to all our Portland friends, I dug up this old video of me and Josh Hoke. It seemed appropriate. I know we look a bit younger, but I’d like to think we’ve aged gracefully.

I’m thrilled to announce that I will be spending the rest of July touring the lovely west coast with my bearded buddy, singer/songwriter Josh Hoke. We’re calling it- wait for it- Nash by Northwest (fondly referred to as NXNW).

Beginning with a 7 Day Artist Residency in Portland OR, NXNW will hit up (and hit on) Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles and various other cities up and down the West coast.

So, if you’re going to be in a place, when we’re going to be in that place, it’d be cool if you… you know… came to see us play some sweet, sweet Nashwestern jams.
