“The song “Wild Horse” woke me up in the middle of the night 10 years ago to write it. It first started as a poem, an ode to the wild spirit within all of us likened to the Wild Horses of America. As a descendant of 2 Native American great-grandmothers (Shawnee and Cherokee), I wanted to create something that could embody the indigenous spirit of never giving up. Even during times of trouble. To further the Native American spirit and the connection to Wild Horses I reached out to a local Native American drumming and singing group called Wildhorse Singers based in Los Angeles CA. My hometown and current residents. This group performs as part of a small non-profit that helps bring outreach projects to support the Native American community, that focuses on the youth, and conducts annual scholarship programs awarded yearly at the annual pow-wow. This song is an od to never giving up on your dreams and a call to listen to your heart.”

Hey Wild Ones Michele Vreeland here. Um, the bun is in full
effect today. Um, I just wanted to say hello and to chat with you
about a book that I’m reading called “The Wisdom Of James
Allen. And this is one, he wrote five books, but this one is out of
his “Path To Prosperity”. And, um, there’s something that I
found interesting and he wrote this “Path To Prosperity” like a
really long time ago. Um, I don’t know how long ago but a really
long time ago, but there’s something that he wrote and I
wanted to read it to you because it’s something that we all need
to remember time and time and time again. And I’ve just been
thinking about how powerful it is, you know? And um, so he
basically says, um,….

….”When man shall say lo here or lo there, do
not go after them. The Kingdom of God is within you. What you
have to do is believe this. Simply believe it with a mind
unshadowed by doubt, and then meditate upon it til you
understand it. You will then begin to purify and build your inner
world. And as you proceed passing from revelation to
revelation, from realization to realization, you will discover the
utter powerlessness of outward things beside the magic
potency of a self governed soul.”…………..

……I mean, to me that just sounds
so amazing. The magic of a self governed soul, you know, I
mean, who doesn’t want to be a really good govern over
themselves, you know? And um, so I think that’s what I’m going
to do here today, where I’m going to meditate on this, on how
the Kingdom of God is within me. And believe without a doubt
that this is true. And then see what happens from it. And I
recommend that you guys meditate too. Spend a little time with
yourself. I mean, it is your inner world, you know, and if you
don’t know what’s going on on the inside of you, how are you
going to know what’s going on on the outside of you? So it’s
really important to connect with yourself. Um, anyway, I hope
this little message helps you and brings you a little bit of
enlightenment today. And if you haven’t I highly recommend
that you go and grab “The Wisdom Of James Allen” and this
book that he wrote is called “The Path To Prosperity.” Anyway,
