OK so I thought I'd have a go and check it out. It drove me insane, wouldn't let me upload my sexy face as my profile picture. Now I don't mind something not working/errroring, but if it just doesn't work and pretends that it has....now that drives me insane. Almost as much as Firefox 3 suddenly deciding I can't click on a random link. "Yeah can't click on THAT link mate!". Bastardo.

It did look quite good to be fair...the jury is still out.

After doing a little bit of reading about Apture it seems like it's something I should give a go. One of the things I don't like about blogger is how much effort I have to put in to make a post interesting. Zemanta tries to help with it's useful autotagging feature but it's far from perfect.

UPDATE: It crashed first time up, need to achieve other things so have to check it properly later. WOW it's pretty nasty. But seems a lot nicer than Zemanta.

VERDICT: Hideous, slow, pop up windows and confusing UI.

PicLens for Firefox. Awesome. Period.

Now that I've had a play and make the blog look nice I have to say it was pretty easy. I did however need some HTML knowledge to make the template look how I want but all in all pretty easy to use.

Seems that the reviewers are venting their fury at how a company can charge $500 for a cat 5.

I've just added Zemanta to my blog and it seems like an interesting little tool. Attached as a firefox extension it add extra functionality to your blogging engine. Hasn't chosen a relevant picture for me but hey this is the first post that I've done with it installed.

Interestingly it updates every 300 characters. Now I see that as a challenge. The auto tag feature seems like a great idea. For example up to here its collated the following tags, blogging, firefox extension, engine, Amazon, Zemanta and review. Not Bad. I just clicked on an image and it added it directly, again I'm pretty impressed.
