It’s been months since I posted in behalf of Micah. The reason is that I am on a Blogger’s Leave right now. My daughter and I are thousand miles apart.

She has many drawings already but I was not able to scan and post it here before I left because of some errands I have to attend. Next week, I will be back home and hoping to post some updates here. So please bear with us and we will be posting more of her drawings soon.

Well, here is another famous carton character from the artist. She is not fond of Barney but this time, I guess the artist has ran out of ideas on cartoon characters and draw him instead.

This blog was not updated for such a long time. After she got sick last July, we decided for her to rest awhile and just lately she was hospitalized. Now, Micah is back and hoping we can post more of her works.

This was done yesterday. She submitted it to me already for posting but she took it back and showed it to her grandmother. Unfortunately, she was not able to give it back to me. I looked for it last night but to no avail. So, I waited for her to wake up today and asked for it. Well, she happily gave it to me for posting.

And yes! I still noticed the crab, still water related. LOL!!!

She intentionally made this for her blog last night. She copied the idea from a picture frame placed on top of our shelf. Honestly, she made it look more beautiful. The picture frame was depicted using dark hues while she did lighter ones that made is so bright and special looking (I'm her mom...hehehe...don't fret about my comments, ok).

This was the second art that got published in my blog. I think she got the idea from watching Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Remember the waterfalls scene? But this one is more colorful.

Well of course, this is not mine. This belongs to my daughter Micah. She wanted to have a blog of her own. Since, she doesn’t know how to write her mind-out. I suggested that she uses art to express herself.

The idea of making her blog was long been forgotten. Until recently, she’s back making drawing and eagerly wants me to publish it in her blog. Since I don’t want her creative juices go to waste, I decided to help her out…as in now! And so did my father, who helped her, create a personalized header.

The concept of the header was about life’s transition from natural simplicity to the modern complexity today. “MICSART – the growing art of micah’s mind” is a blog that showcases her continuing imaginative transition in her mind. I may post in behalf of her right now but someday she will learn how to blog out not only her arts but also her heart and mind.

Hope you enjoy watching her arts’ imaginative growing transition…
