Spectrum – 2025 Updated Tax Tables

For all Spectrum Users be sure to grab the latest updated tax tables that have been released on the Viewpoint Support site (Viewpoint Customer Portal).

To find the updated tax tables you will need to go to the Products Menu and then select Spectrum. Then under the Notifications column select the Spectrum 2025 Tax Tables link. This will open a new tab where you can download the .pro file that you need to upload to your Spectrum environment. Be sure to review the Tax Table Loading Instructions pdf to view the steps for loading the .pro file in to your environment to update the Tax Tables to the 2024 tax rates.

Both Hosted and On Premise Spectrum users must upload the updated tax tables directly to their environments. These tables are not automatically pushed out to hosted users. The tables should be updated after your final 2024 payroll is processed as part of your year end process.

You Should be on Spectrum 2024 R3 before uploading the 2025 tax tables for payroll processing.

The updated tax table file includes updates for the following tables as of version 2025-05:

Canada Federal and all Provinces updated for 2025
U.S. Federal updated for 2025
Arkansas update for 2025
California update for 2025
Hawaii update for 2025
Iowa updated for 2025
Indiana update for 2025
Kentucky updated for 2025
Louisiana update for 2025
Illinois update for 2025
Maine updated for 2025
Maryland updated for 2025
Michigan updated for 2025
Minnesota updated for 2025
Mississippi update for 2025
Missouri update for 2025
Montana updated for 2025
North Carolina updated for 2025
North Dakota updated for 2025
Nebraska updated for 2025

Cloud based files and RealWorks issues

If you saving your scan data to cloud based data storage applications that allow for offline file access like Google Drive, Dropbox, ShareFile, SharePoint, etc. you might have issues accessing and using those files in RealWorks.

FieldLink T100 Tablet Radio Issues – Feb 2023

We are noticing an uptick in Radio issues with the T100 tablet as of the time of this post. If you find yourself having radio issues be sure to install the latest Windows update. As a reminder the T100 should be running Windows 10 and not 11.

After you run the Windows update you will need to run through the radio install process. Please review our T100 Radio Issues article on the Knowledge Base page for the step-by-step walk through of how to install the radio application for the tablet.

T10 Repairs

As previously messaged last year the T10 tablet was scheduled for end of life and repairs were going to be limited to parts available in the Trimble global repair center. At this time the repair center has run out of screen parts which will now limit the ability to not only repair T10 screens but also other issues the tablet may have.

If you have a tablet in for repair currently the BuildingPoint services team will be in contact with you to arrange for the return of the unit.

To discuss the purchase of a replacement tablet please reach out to your BuildingPoint sales team member. They will be able to talk to you about the various replacement options.

FieldLink v6.3 Release – Do Not Update

At this time it is our recommendation at BuildingPoint to NOT update to v6.3 release for either FieldLink or FieldLink Office users.

There are major changes in the release that impact how a project is created and managed inside of FieldLink that will need to be reviewed before updating to this new release. You may also need to update your hardware firmware to use the release.

Before updating to v6.3 we recommend you contact your BuildingPoint Sales Representative. They will be able to walk you through the changes in v6.3 and make sure you are ready for the update across your Trimble portfolio.
