GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Any applicant seeking admission must possess:
A. FOR NATIONAL DIPLOMA (ND)
(i) A minimum of Five (5) Credit Passes in SSCE/WAEC/NECO/NABTEB or GCE O’ Level obtained in subjects relevant to the Course of Study at not more than two sittings.
(ii) The candidate must have written the 2020 JAMB UTME and scored the minimum Cut-Off Mark of 150 in the examination.
B. FOR HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA (HND)
(i) A minimum of Five (5) Credit Passes in SSCE/WAEC/NECO/NABTEB or GCE O’ Level obtained in subjects relevant to the Course of Study at not more than two sittings.
(ii) JAMB Admission Letter or Valid JAMB Regularisation PIN as the case may be.
(iii) National Diploma Statement of Result
(iv) Industrial Training (IT) Experience Letter
(v) Graduates of Ogun State Institute of Technology, Igbesa or any Polytechnic Diploma certificate recognised by the Academic Board of Ogun State Institute of Technology, Igbesa:
- With a minimum of National Diploma certificate not below LOWER CREDIT (with CGPA not less than 2.50),
- Other basic requirements for National Diploma programmes
- With a minimum of One Calendar year Post National Diploma relevant Industrial Work Experience.
(vi) A National Diploma Certificate at PASS level and basic requirements for National Diploma programmes with a minimum of Two Calendar years Post National Diploma relevant Industrial Work Experience.
(vii) In addition Academic Transcripts should be forwarded directly by the student’s last Institution under confidential cover to:

INSTRUCTIONS TO APPLICANTS
i. Applicant must have a functional and active e-mail address which must be Gmail account (Compulsory)
ii. Applicant must use his/her phone number and valid e-mail in filling the form in order to receive alert and messages.
iii. Applicant must scan and upload a passport-size photograph of not more than 50kb in the space provided on the online form.
iv. Fill the applicant’s pre-registration form so as to generate a temporary registration number.
v. After submission of the pre-registration form, a temporary registration number is generated, then go to your email and click on a blue link in the inbox for further registration procedures.
vi. Click on a red link again and enter the registration number already generated.
vii. Complete the application form, confirm and submit.
viii. Print a copy of the completed acknowledgment slip, attach copy of O’level result(s), birth certificate and State of Origin and submit at the main campus, Igbesa.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has registered over 1,900,000 candidates for the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculations Examination, as the registration for the examination closes by midnight on Monday (today). JAMB said on Sunday that the 1.9million was the highest number of registration done in the history of the board and would still increase as more candidates were expected to register on Monday. The PUNCH reports that the UTME examination has been slated between March 14 and April 4 with an optional mock examination scheduled nationwide for Tuesday, February 18. The board’s Head of Press and Public Relations, Dr Fabian Benjamin, confirmed the 1.9million registered candidates in an interview, noting that it was the highest registration in the history of the board. He said, “The registration closes on Monday night. As I speak to you, we have registered over 1.9million. That is the highest we have ever had in the 41-year history of the board. Right now, we have surpassed the last year’s statistics at 1.8million. That is to tell you that nobody has an excuse of why he or she could not register.

Jamb Update: jamb utme 2019/2020 cut off mark now announced to be 160 for instittutions

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board and institutions have approved 160 as the cut-off mark for the 2019 admission. STAKEHOLDERS in Federal universities across the country yesterday announced 160 as the minimum benchmark for admission of candidates for the 2019/2020 academic year. The decision was reached in Gbongan, Osun State, during the board’s joint 19th policy meeting on admissions to tertiary institutions. The stakeholders also unanimously agreed to carry out admission registration procedures for institutions of first choice of candidates in all public universities from August 21 to November 16. They agreed that all state and private universities would peg minimum admission benchmark at 140 and above. The admission registration process for candidates’ institutions of second choice will take place from November 17 to December 17, according to them. They said the minimum UTME score of candidates for public polytechnics should be 120 and above while that of their private counterparts was pegged at 110 and above. The minimum cut-off mark for the colleges of education was also agreed on 110 and above.

Addressing the stakeholders at the meeting, JAMB Registrar Prof Is-haq Oloyede said: “The admission process would be guided by the approved institutional/programmes cut-off marks and minimum UTME score, as submitted by the respective institutions. “The minimum UTME score for admission will be as prescribed by each institution subject to the respective National Minimum UTME score.” According to him, admission for the 2019/2020 academic session will be conducted on the Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).

- Enter your UTME REG Number and a valid email address and click 'Send'. A verification code will be sent to your email instantly.
- Copy the verification code and click on 'Continue'
- On the form, enter your phone number, password, verification code (copied from email), select the access level and click on ' Submit'
- Your login details will be sent to your email address instantly.
- Continue with the application by logging in with the login credentials sent to your email
- After successful login, click on 'Step One', click on 'Generate Application Form RRR'
- Print the RRR (Remita) page, proceed to any bank of your choice nationwide to make a payment of N2,000 only
- Login to the portal, click on 'Step Two', click on 'Confirm payment', enter the RRR number and click on 'Verify payment'. If payment confirmation is successful, or if you get a notification 'Payment already verified', then proceed to "Step Three".
- Click on 'Step Three', click on 'Fill Application Form', Fill out the application form. You can
save each stage of the application and continue at a later time. Also, you can edit your information as often as possible within the application period.
- Check the 'I Agree' box and click on "submit" button.
- Print out the Application Form and come along with it for your screening and POST UTME examination.
4. TIME AND REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SCREENING EXERCISE
a. Accreditation of candidates commences at 8.00am each day. Candidates should adhere strictly to the time scheduled for screening examination.
b. Print out the Application Form from the University Portal and come along with it for your screening and POST UTME evaluation
c. The date and time for each candidate's examination will be shown on the POST UTME PRINT-OUT
5. RESTRICTIONS
a. Only bona fide candidates/candidates scheduled for the day's examination and time shall be allowed into the University / Examination Hall.
b. Parents and guardians are, therefore, strongly advised against attempting to enter the University Campus as security will be tight.
c. No GSM handsets, scientific calculators or any other extraneous materials shall be allowed into the examination hall

Unimaid 2017/2018 Post UTME form is out. The form costs N2500. Candidates who chose Unimaid as first or second choice in the 2017 Jamb examination and had a score of 160 and above can apply. The deadline for applying is at 12.00 midnight on Thursday, 14th September, 2017. The screening exercise will be an online screening.
To apply, follow the instructions below:

2. Click UTME/DE Screening icon
3. Click Register New UTME/DE Screening Account.
4. Fill the form opened to create UTME/DE Screening Account.

f) Password (Must contain Upper Case and a number). Be sure of the password you use.
5. Click Register
6. Click (Click to proceed).
7. Make payment. You have two options to make your payment:

This is to inform all students who have show interest in studying various courses in the University of Benin, selected the institution during the 2017 UTME and scored the minimum cutoff marks that UNIBEN 2017 / 2018 admission screening has commenced.
UNIBEN 2017 / 2018 ADMISSION SCREENING REQUIREMENTS:
It is important to meet all the requirements listed below before applying or making payment for screening to avoid disqualification as no refund will be issued.
1.A minimum UTME 2017 score of 200 is set as

3.The standard 5 Credits in WAEC, NECO obtained in not less than 2 sittings is required. Mathematics and English are compulsory for most courses and addition 3 relevant O-level Credits but if Credit score in Mathematics is not required for your course of study, 4 other relevant O-level credits will be required. This is not the time for awaiting result.
4.A Passport Photograph with RED BACKGROUND is required. Do NOT JOKE with this because same passport will be used for student Identity card when admitted. Do not wear eyeglasses of any type or face caps in your passport photo and don't allow your hair cover any part of your face.

3.Login to the portal http://uniben.waeup.org with the username and password given and click on APPLICATION RECORD top right corner to edit your details. Correctly enter your personal information such as birthday, O-Level result details etc.
For O-Level be sure to click ADD EXAM RESULT and select your subjects and grades obtain from WAEC / NECO
4.Upload your passport with Red Background. The passport size must be less than 50kb. Use image editing application such as PAINT to resize if more than 50kb.
5.Add Payment Ticket and make payment or 4,500 on the REMITA page using an ATM or print payment slip and pay at the bank. The status of your payment should indicate "PAID" when completed.
