Saturday was great. They had 7+ inches of snow on Thursday so the conditions were much better than Okemo last weekend. Sunday was really cold, something like -1F in Kingfield with a -17F windchill. I assume it was somewhat colder on the mountain. We took it easy and warmed up after every 3 or 4 runs, and used hand and foot warmers. It took us 3 hours, 21 minutes to get to the summit. Total distance (up and back down) around 8.2 miles.</p> <p>We tried to hike it in 2010 and made it somewhat close to the of Tuckerman’s ravine, up a different trail.
