TechCrunch is basically crowd sourcing content - just like Wikipedia. I have one small feature request: on the widget tool, please select all the code for me when I click into the box, I don’t want to have to manually select it all - just like with ad tags.

Haha, the title says it all! Even though I work for Yahoo!, Michael Arrington got an invite before I did. Oh well…
I think I’m going to have to start asking around for someone to get me in there.

If you need a quick web design or programming job done, be sure to head over to oDesk. A lot of the workers are international but oDesk does a good job of ensuring their capabilities (via tests) and the costs are low.
Check it out.

After reading Jason Calacanis’s post about how to save money running a startup I started link jumping to find more interesting tips and tricks. Jason suggested Pat Phelan’s blog, and I found his post pretty interesting - but not as controversial as Jason’s.

Pat linked to a site called Skyscanner, which he recommends for booking flights. Well, I’ve taken a look at Skyscanner and it’s pretty cool. It’s not the easiest site to use and I might not use it for everyday or impromptu travel like I might use Kayak.com or FairChase, but it’s interesting none the less.

My favorite feature of Skyscanner is the ability to quickly see the variable flights costs throughout the month. This makes it very easy to pick the cheapest days to travel, which is often one the biggest pain point for users.

If Skyscanner can make their site a little more usable and quick to navigate, I think they have a chance to become a huge international online travel player.

I recently moved my sites over to MediaTemple (well worth it, I love the functionality). Unfortunately, I didn’t export all my old blog posts correctly. I’m going to try a couple things to recover them, but no promises it’ll work.
On the bright side, no one really read those posts anyways.
