It is 12:29am and I decided to hop on here to say there is a lot coming your way. The last 7 months have been pretty crazy with marriage life really kicking in, starting weekly coffee shop meetings with my new mentor, working for a church that is no longer mobile, reading multiple leadership books, etc. With all this you have noticed the material that makes it too this blog of late has mainly been photos from my new SLR. Photos that I highly enjoy and will continue to post, but I am beginning a new era on this blog.

Starting in the next week or so I will be updating more frequently with the idea of “coaching” at the forefront of my mind and heart. Each post I publish I hope to have some type of “coach” moment within it that may encourage you to digg deep and see just what type of “leader” you are.

We had a great weekend on the lake with the family this past weekend. While my beautiful wife used her new water skis for the first time and my brother hopped out on the wakeboard I thought I would snap a couple photos. And I found it difficult taking the photos from the same boat that was pulling them (fast and choppy). So below are four of many shots, and as you can see I played around alot with the shadows, highlights, and vibrance.

Very Busy | New Series Bump

I always hate when people write this, but..

The last few weeks have been crazy busy and the next month is going to be as well. The reason is a beta website I am in full force with testing for the entire month of May. I can’t wait until I get to share with everyone what this site is, but until then I will do my best to keep things updated on here. I have some things moving around in my head that is getting put down on paper these days as well as many ideas and questions coming out of our PC3 All Staff Meetings as well.

One a side note, we did start a new series this past weekend titled “Baggage” and Evan and his team knocked it out of the park once again…

“You Deserve” | PC3’s Night of Worship

There will be a much longer post on last night’s Night of Worship at PC3, a night were we invited all of our volunteers to just come with their families and worship our God without doing anything else but singing and reflecting.

But until that post, I thought I would at least get one video up from last night. So above is You Deserve, the 3rd song of the night (first 3 were back to back straight out the gate). What a great night we had!!

Mustache Heat

After much anticipation around the PC3 media side of things and the surrounding Wilmington area I am proud to show you the award winning film, “Mustache Heat”. This film was shot by our very own E*Media & Mobile Camera youngsters, Joey Connolley (18 yrs old) & Parrish Stikeleather (21 yrs old). This was shot & edited within a 36 hour time frame for a local film festival; the Final Cut Film Festival. They began the shooting at Tweetsie Rail Road in the mountains of North Carolina and edited the entire film on a Macbook Pro in the car for the 6 hour ride back in the middle of the night.

So enough with the waiting… Here is your Final Cut Film Festival… Best Film, Best Comedy, Best Cinematography, Crowd Favorite, and an award made specifically for them titled the Definitive Award (for young film makers in the local industry).

Made in 36 hours for the Final Cut Film Festival in Wilmington, NC.

Winner of 1st place, Crowd favorite, Best Cinematography, and Best Comedy.

Mission vs Vision?

What is the difference between a “Mission Statement” & “Vision“?

Please leave a comment or two to help find some type of answer to this question. I am reading the books, but would love to get your heads spinning and find out what you come up with. So once again…

Lift High w/Baptism Montage

This video from our 12:30 Easter service this past weekend at PC3. The media team put together the baptism montage and we brought it in live in key sections of Lift High. This was a very emotional moment in the service and the team did an incredible job. Unlike videos in the past this was three separate videos cued in during the song. We usually create videos as one long video set to a click track and sent to the bands IEM, but we were able to just cue these from the Producer’s station on the fly.
