Shoppers are Invited to Create HappyDolls on March 9

NEW YORK CITY – February 21, 2013 – Bloomingdale’s 59th Street and MIKI HOUSE, the renowned Japanese fashion house offering the finest in quality for infants and toddlers, invite customers to decorate their own HappyDoll in store on Saturday, March 9 from 2 to 5pm. The HappyDolls were donated by a non-profit organization with the same name to act as a kid-powered envoy with a simple mission to make children in challenging circumstances smile. Following the event, MIKI HOUSE will donate a portion of the dolls to the children at Child Mind Institute, a non-profit organization that helps kids with psychiatric and learning disorders find success at home, in school and with friends. The donated dolls will be exhibited at Child Mind Institute to inspire the children and families. Also, look for some of the dolls to be on display on the 8th floor at Bloomingdale’s to inspire shoppers of all ages.
