Cinque anni fa mi sembrava strano che non ci fosse ancora un campionato di jiu-jitsu a Milano, la capitale economica d&#39;Italia. Erano già nati - e alcuni si erano addirittura consumati - campionati di jiu-jitsu tutti intorno. Il primo che mi ricordi a Varese, poi a Torino e qualche anno dopo a Roma.&lt;/div&gt;

La prima (io credo!) ad avere un nome e un logo ufficialmente registrato alla Camera di Commercio, una struttura societaria e un conto in banca. &lt;b&gt;MILANIMAL&lt;/b&gt; vive di entusiasmo e delle quote associative, obbligatorie solo per chi sceglie di far parte di un gruppo ristretto di atleti che decidono di mostrarsi in pubblico con quella toppa cucita sulla schiena. Parte della somma raccolta é dedicata alle spese di gestione - assicurazioni, oneri bancari, etc etc.. - mentre il resto é a &quot;nostra&quot; disposizione. Fin dalla nascita di &lt;b&gt;MILANIMAL&lt;/b&gt; mi é sembrato opportuno dare valore a quegli atleti che per meriti, impegno, risultati conseguiti e sacrificio si sono distinti tra tutti, pagando loro l&#39;iscrizione a due campionati internazionali. Quest&#39;anno voglio ringraziare pubblicamente &lt;b&gt;Marco Bancone&lt;/b&gt;, &lt;b&gt;Davide Di Luzio&lt;/b&gt; e &lt;b&gt;Giuseppe Melidona&lt;/b&gt; per essere stati il miglior esempio possibile per tutti i loro compagni d&#39;allenamento. Per quanto mi riguarda, quello è tutto fuorché battersi. E’ sopravvivere finché non arrivano i rinforzi. Punto e basta. La critica poi, banale e scontata, al jiu-jitsu sportivo riassunta in un semplice &lt;i&gt;“noi non facciamo jiu-jitsu per fare dei punti”&lt;/i&gt; si sgretola davanti al fatto che il valore educativo dello sport è fuori discussione e che misurarsi in un contesto sicuro, tutelati da regole e arbitri, è sicuramente il primo passo per una comprensione del senso più generale dell’&lt;i&gt;arte suave&lt;/i&gt;.
