All you have to do is open a high-yield savings account, put your money in it, and watch your money grow. 2. Get a part-time job Enough of the laziness, most students have lots of free time. Whether you want to admit it or not, there’s no excuse for not getting a part-time job while you’re in school. Get an on-campus job at a computer lab if you want a low-key, low stress job where you’ll get paid to do your homework … I mean, supervise the computer lab. 3. Sell something you don’t need (or don't like!) Textbooks, CDs, DVDs, video games, iPods, and anything else you might find on eBay. Chances are you have at least one thing you don’t need anymore, so sell it on eBay or Craigs List for some extra cash. How would you like to make a cool $10,000 or more? If you have an idea for a reality show, you can sell it to Hollywood producers - Just for the idea! However, you need more than just a "good idea." Producers want to "see" exactly what the show will look like. And the simplest way to show them is with a video "demo". Hi kids! I'm always on the look-out for easy ways for kids to make money. Here’s a run down of 5 items that I bought in Walmart and successfully sold on Ebay for pretty good money: 1) CD’s Recipe CD’s sell really well on Ebay. Look for them on sale for $1 and sell them on Ebay for $5 dollars a piece +shipping. These sold really fast! 2) Electronics I found a 512K mp3 player manufactured by Creative Labs that normally sells for $99 at the time, however, they were on sale for $29 each. They were sold for $40 each on Ebay! 3) Toys A whole shopping cart full of the toy Beanz were found in Walmart. They were marked down to $1 each but after bargaining with the manager at Walmart, got them at 50 cents a piece! These were a fabulous money maker! 4) Candles and Other Household Items In Walmart’s closeout section, we found some huge three wick candles weighing around 3 or 4 pounds each. They were marked down from $19 each to $1 a piece. These sold for $11 each on Ebay! 5) DVD’s Walmart has a number of DVD’s found in huge DVD bins that made a pretty decent profit on eBay. One example is The Beverly Hillbillies which purchased from Walmart at around $5 and sold on ebay for $12 each. Another example was $5 Jumanji which was resold for $12.50 per copy. These are just 5 items that I bought from Walmart and resold for a profit on Ebay. Sonja
