This is going to sound contradictory to everything we have discussed so far. Isn’t the point of investing to to let the power of compounding make you rich?

Even when you use a modest 10% annual return, a compound interest calculator will excite you with enormous numbers that will make you feel rich. If you are feeling really lucky and use 15 or 17 as your annual return, you might have to ask your friend to pinch your wrist to see if you are lost in a day dream.

Let’s be real, most of us are not going to get 15% or more over the next 30 years. Even if our equity investments do very well, our debt component will bring down the average down to 10 or 12 percent. Pre-tax!

If tax wasn’t bad enough, wait till you deduct inflation from all of this. If you are reading this, your personal inflation is more likely to be in the 10 to 12 percentage and not the national average of 6 or 7 percentage.

What we are left with, in the best of situations, is a 2 or 3 percent growth. If we are lucky. Now run the compound interest calculator with annual growth as 3% and see how you fare. Imagine having that money today and that’s pretty much how rich you will feel when you have the money in the future.

A little oversimplified, but the point is, if you are not rich today, investing alone is not going to make you much richer.

You are probably in denial and I appreciate that. I was too when I first realized this.

Imagine everything that you think you want to buy when you are rich. The villa, the supercar, the expensive vacations, the truly aspirational things. Every potential candidate for that life is already investing just like you. If everyone is equally rich, is anyone really rich after all?

Ten years back, a two BHK flat meant somewhere around 50L or 60L in many areas of India, including some parts of Bangalore. These days you need 1Cr or more for an equivalent flat. If your money is growing at the effective 3% rate and if every potential buyer can afford these flats, builders are going to price it so that it always remains just outside your reach.

Not so long ago, a good SUV was priced around 15L. These days you need just about that much to buy a top end hatchback. Proper SUV’s are nearing 25 or 30L.

What is the point of investing if it’s not going to make us rich? The true purpose of investing is to meet your goals. Investing hopefully beats inflation and gives you a nice bonus for the risk you take. Investing alone is not going to rewrite your story.

Let’s take an example. If your monthly expenses are 50k today and if you invest another 50k every month, you will have an extra month’s worth of expenses at any point in the future adjusting for inflation. This assumes that your lifestyle doesn’t inflate over time.

So if you save a month’s worth of expenses for 30 years, you can comfortably live for another 30 more years without making more money.

Which means if you want to retire early, you have to save 2X or 3X your monthly expenses every month. If you save 3X for 20 years, you can live for another 60 years. So if you earn well and save well at the age 20, you could retire at 40 and live till a 100 without worrying about money. Investing well can make you financially free.

The only way to be rich is to earn disproportionate income. This could come from a business or a very high paying job. You have to be rich today to be able to afford the rich life in the future.

Tracking your financial portfolio helps you get a snapshot view of your financial health and take data driven decisions effectively.

Even if the app / website you use to invest show you a summary of all your investments, I personally feel it’s very important keep a record that is in your control. There is more to track than just your investments. You need to know the money in your bank, the money in your FD’s, the balance in your PPF / EPF. Your insurance coverage etc.

I have created a template to track your financial life: Personal Finance Template. Make a copy of it in your Google account and modify it as you see fit.

You will see the following tabs:

A dashboard that gives you a quick snapshot of your financial life.

Bank Accounts and balances available in each account.

Debt investments (PPF, Bank FD, Debt Mutual Funds etc.).

Equity investments (Equity Mutual Funds, Direct Stock Holdings etc.).

Insurances.

Other assets / funds that you might have. For example, any deposits that you have provided at the time of renting a flat.

A “Closed” tab to save details of past investments. Let’s say a FD matured and you closed it.

Obviously this is all manual work. Once you get a hang of it, it shouldn’t take more more than 20 minutes a month to update it and maybe an hour once every 6 months to analyze.

All the best.

Why invest in a Liquid Fund when you can park money in a savings bank account or a fixed deposit? Let's find out.

Sourced from: Million Clues! - A blog about WordPress, Blogging and Entrepreneurship by Arun Basil Lal.

In the note about debt mutual funds, I had mentioned how Liquid mutual funds is something to watch out for. In this article, let’s explore how and when you can include Liquid mutual funds into your portfolio.

A Liquid mutual fund is a debt fund that invests in short term debt instruments (treasury bills, government securities, cash deposits, bonds etc.) with a maturity of up to 91 days.

In other words, in a Liquid mutual fund, the fund manager invests money in short term, safe instruments that have relatively short term maturity. The returns of a Liquid mutual funds will be somewhere close to that of a fixed deposit or a tad bit lower.

One natural question one might have is, why invest in a Liquid mutual fund when you can park money in a savings bank account for ultra short term goals, or a fixed deposit for goals within a year or two. Let me explain this with a real life incident.

In 2013, I had saved up about 6L INR to buy a car. The car I wanted was a Bolero, with a specific engine that was no longer being produced at the time. The search for a good Bolero took about 11 months and all this time the money stayed in my savings account.

Knowing what I know now, this would have been the perfect opportunity to use a Liquid Mutual Fund.

Funds would have been invested in a safe instrument that doesn’t move up or down with the equity market.

Unlike a fixed deposit, a Liquid mutual fund does not have a maturity date. Which means you can access your funds any time you need without any pre-mature closure penalty. Your funds are “liquid”! (There is an exit load on some funds if you withdraw within the first 7 days.)

I believe, savings bank accounts at the time offered 4% interest.

Had I invested in a Liquid mutual fund, I would have received, let’s say, 7% interest. A difference of 3%.

3% of 6L for 11 months is 16,500 INR. If I remember correctly, that was worth just about five full tanks of diesel.

Example uses for a Liquid Fund

You are saving up for a trip, but you don’t know when you are going. It could be in 6 months, it could be in a year.

You have your salary coming in, but you do not see any investing opportunities in direct equity right now. You can use a Liquid fund as an “opportunity fund” to save up for the right investing opportunity.

A part of your emergency fund can be in a Liquid fund.

Some Liquid Funds offer instant redemption!

This is the single biggest feature that makes Liquid Funds unique and different from almost every other debt fund. Many Liquid Funds offer instant redemption up to 50,000 INR or 90% of portfolio (whichever is lower).

Typically when you redeem a mutual fund, you place a request to the AMC, then the request is processed the next day and you receive the funds the day after that. This happens only on working days.

However, for funds with instant redemption feature (formally called Instant Access Facility or IAF), you get your funds near instantly (via IMPS). It even works on off-market hours and weekends!

Pro Tip: If you hold multiple Liquid Funds in your portfolio, you can redeem 50,000 INR from each of them instantly! If you have four liquid funds, you have access to 4 x 50k = 2 lakh INR instantly.

This increases your liquidity and also reduces AMC risk to an extend. Start with one, and once you figure out how it works, it’s best to add a second or third Liquid Fund to your portfolio.

Note: Instant redemption is not a right, but only a privilege. It can fail due to technical issues, or the AMC can suspend it as they see fit any time. So it’s better to have multiple liquid funds if instant redemption is a must have feature.

Liquid Mutual funds with Instant Access Facility.

I wanted to list out all Liquid Funds that offer instant redemption facility. However at the time of editing the article I figured it might sound like a recommendation, even if I say “this is not a recommendation”.

So let me tell you how you might approach this:

Not all Liquid Funds offer instant redemption.

If you already invest in a mutual fund, check the Liquid Funds of the same AMC and check if they offer instant redemption. This will save you the trouble of signing up for a new AMC account. (If you invest via an aggregator like Coin or Groww, this doesn’t matter.)

You can use screeners like this one (no affiliation, not a user either) and find all the Liquid Funds on offer. There are 44 funds at the time of writing.

Ignore the last one year or three year returns, doing that makes no sense since it’s all point to point returns and your returns cannot be predicted based on past data.

Pick an AMC that you are comfortable with. Check their website to see if they offer instant redemption feature.

Most AMC’s that I know have a separate section for instant redemption. Make sure you choose the right redemption process to access funds instantly.

Remember, Liquid Funds are never FD replacements!

You simply cannot compare a bank Fixed Deposit and a Liquid Fund. Nor should you use a Liquid Fund instead of a FD.

There is no other financial instrument like a FD. It’s easy to understand, it’s easy to invest and it offers peace of mind. You exactly know the return you are going to get BEFORE you invest your money. Your money is insured up to a certain limit. An FD is one of the safest investment instrument in India.

This shouldn’t scare you from using a Liquid fund, every instrument has a place and purpose and it’s up to you use to choose wisely. There is a plethora of content available for you to learn more.

Owning and operating a car is an expensive proposition and I hope we don’t have to argue about that. Fuel costs, maintenance, insurance, taxes and tolls are all very evident.

Then there are hidden costs like depreciation and opportunity costs. Let’s take a few conservative assumptions are do a little “car math”.

Assumptions:

On road purchase price of the car including insurance, road tax and everything: 13L (13 lakhs)

We are buying with liquid cash, not financing.

Annual insurance and basic maintenance: 10,000 INR. (Most car owners will laugh at this figure. We are being conservative, remember?)

Years of ownership: 15 years.

Running costs: 7 INR per km. (This will only go up as fuel prices increase!)

Resale value at the end of 5 years: 4L.

Car Math

First, let’s calculate the future value of 13L that we are giving up by spending that money today. In other words the money you would have made if you had invested the principal cost of the car (13L in this example) for the period of ownership of the car (15 years in this example).

To do that math, let’s assume that your entire portfolio generates a conservative 8% annual return. If we input our numbers into a compound interest calculator, 13L at 8% annual return will come to just over 41L in 15 years. That’s a gain of over 28L!

Let’s consider two scenarios, one where you drive 5000 kms a year and the second where you drive 12000 kms a year:

Over 15 years, 5000 x 15 = 75000 kms and 12000 x 15 = 1,80,000 kms.

Based on our assumption of 7 INR per km, this will cost 5,25,000 INR and 12,60,000 INR respectively.

Adding it all up:

ITEM

COST

Cost of the car.

13L

Future value of principal.

28L

Insurance, maintenance costs (10,000 x 15).

1.5L

Running costs. (5000 km pa / 12000 km pa)

5.25L / 12.6L

Buy back value of the car to be deduced from costs

-4L

Total cost of ownership

43.75L / 51.1L

Total cost per KM (i.e. Total cost / total kms driven)

~58 INR / ~28 INR

We can get more intricate with this math if we add the interest lost from running and maintenance costs. Then on the flip side, not having a car also comes with it’s own share of expenses (bus, auto, taxi etc.) and we have to deduct that.

Did I miss something? Please do let me know.

If you observe closely, the major chunk of the costs come from just owning the car and not from the running costs. In fact, driving the car more only makes the math better as you can see above.

If you have already purchased a car, it makes more financial sense to use it as much as possible. You are essentially spending ~85% / ~72% of the total cost of ownership right when you purchase the car. You are not saving much by driving less.

Now, should you buy a car?

If you can justify the cost, and if you want one, you definitely should. A car is a major lifestyle upgrade and a good way to create lasting memories. The feeling of being in control and being able to move at will is a major luxury.

Just know what you are paying for it and see if it is worth it for you today.

Do not get a car just because you think someone of your age or career should have a car. If you do not need a car regularly, then consider opting for taxis or short-term rentals when necessary.

Investing involves numbers. And some mathematics. Before you say “I am not good with numbers” and decide that “investing is not for me”, I urge you to read on.

You only need to know about a few numbers to be a successful investor and XIRR is one of them.

What is XIRR and how is it useful?

XIRR is Extended Internal Rate of Return. For most practical purposes, XIRR is the rate of return that is used to compare investments with a bank fixed deposit.

Consider two cases:

If you invested INR 1200 into a bank fixed deposit today and the bank promises you 10% return per annum. At the end of one year you receive INR 1320 (i.e. 1200 principal + 120 as 10% simple interest).

You also invested INR 100 into a mutual fund every month, which at the end of one year has grown to INR 1320 in total.

Which investment gave more returns? In absolute terms, they both returned the same. You have an absolute gain of INR 120 in both cases.

However, in the second case with the mutual fund, only the first investment of INR 100 stayed invested for a year. The second INR 100 stayed invested for 11 months, the third investment of INR 100 stayed invested for 10 months and so on.

To compare these two investments, you need to calculate the XIRR for the mutual fund investment. It will come to just about 19%. That’s way better than the 10% returns in the fixed deposit.

Note: Comparing an investment against a bank fixed deposit is not an apples to apples comparison. In the case of the bank deposit, you know what you are going to receive before you part with your money. It’s relatively safe and the chances of you losing your investment or your returns is negligible as long you you choose a reputed and recognized bank. In the case of a mutual fund, the risk is much higher which may or may not convert into higher returns. Every instrument (except ULIPs maybe) serve a purpose.

How to calculate XIRR?

Open up your favorite spreadsheet tool like Microsoft Excel or Google sheets. We will use Google sheets for this example since it’s free and everyone can access it.

Create a column named Dates. You will enter the date on which you made the investments here and all dates on which you made a withdrawal.

Create another column named Amount. You will enter the amount you invested as -ve (as having left your pocket) and the amount you withdrew as positive (as having entered your pocket).

If you have not made a withdrawal, enter the current value of the investment as the last row.

Now to calculate XIRR, enter this formula in a different cell:

= XIRR( cashflow_amounts, cashflow_dates ) x 100

where
cashflow_amounts
is the range of cells in the Amount column and
cashflow_dates
is the range of cells in the Date column.

We will use our previous example of investing INR 100 each month to calculate it’s XIRR.

The result is 18.98%, a tad below 19%.

You have just unlocked a superpower! Now when your neighborhood insurance aunty tries to sell you her shiny new policy in which if you invest INR 100000 / year for ‘just’ 10 years will return INR 100000 each year for the next 15 years, use this superpower to calculate the XIRR. Tell her at 3.34% annual returns (which is the XIRR) the ULIP is worse than a savings bank account!

And the fact that your fund is locked with them for 25 years is simply insult to the injury. XIRR is the truly the hero we need.

This is a quick reference guide for WordPress plugin developers who host their plugin in the WordPress.org repository.

While elaborate documentation is available for each step of the process, I found it fragmented and confusing. This guide will be a snapshot of the process with links to further reading as necessary.

Step 1: Make sure your strings are translatable.

Enclose all translatable strings with WordPress translate functions:
__()
or
_e()
.

_e() is the same as __(), but instead of returning the string, it echo‘s it. Use __() within
printf
or
sprintf
to include variables.

__( string $text, string $domain = 'default' )

The first parameter of the function will be the string to translate and the second parameter will be the text domain.

There are few more functions and use cases, refer this guide for all the info.

Which brings us to the next step, your choice of text domain.

Step 2: Make sure your text domain matches your plugin slug in the WordPress.org repository.

If your plugin url in the repository is:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/my-plugin
, then your text domain must be
my-plugin
.

For plugins hosted on WordPress.org, it’s no longer required to add
Text Domain
and
Domain Path
in the plugin header. Loading included language files (example) using
load_plugin_textdomain
is also no longer required.

Now your plugin is ready for translation. Commit the changes (if any) to WordPress.org repository.

Step 3: Add translations on translate.wordpress.org

Once your translation ready plugin is in the repository, you can add your translations by visiting
https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/my-plugin
(example).

You could add them yourselves, find volunteers to contribute, or hire professionals to translate your plugin for you.

Strings waiting for approval on translate.wordpress.org

The translations will not be available immediately, but will have a Waiting status until they are approved by someone who can. You can see this in the screenshot above.

Step 4: Add a Project Translation Editor to get your translations approved.

A Project Translation Editor or PTE is someone who is approved by the Polyglots team with the authority to approve translated strings.

You will need a PTE for each language.

PTE request can be made by the plugin author, or by a translator themselves.

To make a PTE request (example) as a plugin developer, follow the guidelines here: Plugin/Theme Author Translation Review/PTE Request.

Note that assigning a PTE is not mandatory to get translations approved, you could simply request a translation review. However, having a PTE will make the process much faster in the future, especially if the PTE is someone in your team or someone you have a direct relationship with.

The locale code required to make the PTE request is available here.

If you have personal contact with the translator, then you may request them to leave a comment to the post stating that they are willing to be the PTE for the project (example). This could speed up the process a tiny bit.

What happens next?

From this point on, there isn’t anything you need to do.

The polyglots team will process your request in due time. Remember, this is a volunteer operation, so do not expect immediate response. Although from experience, some volunteers are very proactive and swift. Just don’t expect it all the time. (Wait at least 3+ weeks before requesting a follow up on the request comments or on #polyglots Slack channel.)

Once 90% of the strings are translated, a language pack will be created by the repository.

These language packs will be listed on the right sidebar of your plugin page. Refer screenshot below.

language packs listed on WordPress.org

And according to VentureBeat’s cloud revenue growth report, MongoDB is a significant contributor to overall cloud revenue.

So if you haven’t learned how to build a database on MongoDB yet, you’re missing out. The company recorded 39,100 customers in its latest quarterly report, as covered by CNBC.

Fortunately, you can soon be one of them once you are done with this tutorial. Read on to find out how to create a database in MongoDB. For clarity purposes, this guide will focus on MongoDB Atlas UI.

Create an Account

First, you’ll need to register an account on MongoDB Atlas with either your email address, Google account, or GitHub account. You’ll also be prompted to read the terms and service when doing so. Don’t worry; signing up is free!

Deploy a Cluster

After logging in, you will be prompted to build a cluster. In MongoDB’s terms, a cluster is a replica set. Atlas offers free clusters (M0) as a small-scale development environment to host your data. They’re free and provide access to basic Atlas features.

If you choose to deploy M0 clusters, you’ll have to pick your cloud provider and region. M0 clusters are supported on Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.

Enter a name for your cluster and then click “Create Cluster”.

Create a Database User

To access your cluster, you’ll need to create a database user. Go to Connect > Databases > Databases Deployment and click “Connect” on the cluster. This will prompt you to add your IP address.

Once IP address is added, you can set a name and password. Fill these in, then click “Create Database User.”

Connect to Your Cluster

You can connect to your cluster in various ways. For this tutorial, we will cover how to connect via MongoDB Shell (mongosh). You will need to have it installed on your machine before you start.

Once installed, navigate to Connect > Databases > Database Deployments and then click “Connect.” Then click “Choose a connection method” and “Connect with the MongoDB Shell.” Select your version of MongoDB Shell from the dropdown menu, then copy and pase the provided connection string into your terminal.

Insert and View a Document

Run the command below on mongosh. This will create a database called “gettingStarted” and will point your environment to it.

use gettingStarted

Next, insert a document to your database using the following command. This will create a new collection called “People” and insert a document there.

db.people.insertOne({
name: { first: 'Alan', last: 'Turing' },
 birth: new Date('Jun 23, 1912'),
 death: new Date('Jun 07, 1954'),
contribs: [ 'Turing machine', 'Turing test', 'Turingery' ],
 views : Long(1250000)
})

You will receive confirmation once you’ve successfully inserted a document into the collection.

Load Sample Data

For this step, we can use the Atlas UI again. Just navigate to Database Deployments > Database. Then open the “Load Sample Dataset” dialog.

Go to your database and click the (…) button. Then click “Load Sample Dataset.” You can view your sample data by clicking the database deployment’s “Browse Collections” button.

Conclusion

That’s it! You successfully created a database in MongoDB. The steps will vary depending on the drivers you use.

If you’re interested, MongoDB University launched a new curriculum to help close the tech skills gap. It includes new courses and certifications, plus multiple Atlas labs that provide hands-on access to the product.

In early 2021 when I resigned from my fancy pants job at WP Media (the company behind WP Rocket), my mind was set on creating a product.

It wasn’t the stereotypical story where one leaves their cushy corporate salary behind and take brave strokes into the wilderness of the startup life.

This was more like leaving the comforts of your home to go to college where everything is paid for by your parents. You still feel like you are stepping out, but it’s nothing like the real thing.

I say that because I already had Image Attributes Pro going for me. It was bringing in enough moolah to keep the batteries charged.

COVID situation in India at the time didn’t really allow for travel. So there was no distraction coming up. I had all the time to focus on my next product.

I even had a multi-paged Google doc full of product ideas. An ongoing doc where I dump midnight burps and caffeinated sparks. But none of them where Delta-4. None of them inspired me to dedicate the next 5 to 8 years of my prime.

If you are not keen on watching the video, here is Delta-4 in a nutshell. Remember the first time you used Uber? You didn’t have to negotiate with the folks who specialized in looting you day and night. You couldn’t wait to brag to your friends about it. And you probably still use the app when you can.

That’s Delta-4. As long as your experience doesn’t go horribly wrong, you are never going back to the pre-Uber life.

I had already tasted a Delta-4 product with SuperPWA. People who installed the plugin talked about it organically. When your website is now also an app (thanks to SuperPWA), you just had to tell your followers about it. Their competitors and users would come, often out of curiosity, and many of them became new users of SuperPWA.

WP Rocket was a similar product. Users were proud to tweet and brag about how fast their website was since they installed WP Rocket.

On the contrary, Image Attributes Pro was not that. Users get it to remedy a specific pain and then go on with their day. Often the pain is temporary and except for the occasional review or a nice email there is no reason to talk about it or tell the world about the plugin.

Image Attributes Pro is a tool. A screwdriver. You need it to drive a screw (the pain) and then it stays in your toolbox until the pain surfaces again.

I appreciate a quality tool as much as the next person. But tools rarely get the press that makes it a Delta-4 product. Typically tools stay in the background. In a toolbox.

Enter marketing, black powder coating, swanky photos and upbeat music. Suddenly there is a tool that people want to tweet about. They appear as prop on YouTube videos and even gets displayed on a showcase with ambient light.

We live in a world where a 30 minute video about A SCREWDRIVER gets over 3.2 million views on YouTube (and counting).

I think it comes down to story and user experience.

Everyone loves a good story. Say it in a way that makes it relatable and achievable with proper dozes of edutainment and you have an audience.

A well told story also elevates the user experience the same way a premium price and fancy cutlery elevates a meal. In a way, the story is simply a component of the overall user experience.

Create a delightful user experience and you might just have users wanting to brag about your product. Even if that product is a humble screwdriver.

The internet is full of shady websites designed to steal. Yet they trusted your website and paid you for your product.

In a world where fake reviews can be bought in bulk, they found comfort in your product reviews.

They took the leap and ignored the tiny part of their “gut” yelling at them how they are making a mistake and swiped their card.

That was the easy part.

Then they installed your code. Your code that was never code reviewed by a community they trust or certified by any higher standard. Just something you made up.

Code that is capable of wiping out months of hard work and more importantly, their reputation. They will have some explaining to do if things go awry.

They were excited, even elated. They wanted it to work just as much as you did.

Fingers were crossed. On both hands.

If things still don’t work out, refund is the least you can do.

p.s: This was written from the perspective of a WordPress plugin developer who makes and runs Image Attributes Pro.

Organizing a fun yet effective team building excursion for your staff can be challenging. You need to think outside the box when coming up with exciting team building activities.

Essentially, the purpose of any successful team building event is to build trust, encourage creativity, improve workers’ communication skills and foster healthy competition.

If you’re looking for an illustrious company to help you organize a superb team building event for your firm, these corporate team builders come highly recommended.

In this article, we’ll discuss 4 effective types of team building events run by professional companies.

1. Executive team building retreats

These particular team building events are designed for top executives, high-level managers, directors and CEOs. There’s no better way to appreciate company leaders than by organizing creative and stimulating team-building retreats for them. They’ll enjoy participating in witty games such as The Pitch, an exciting competition that involves creating and marketing a unique item/service to unearth which team has the best entrepreneurial spirit. Other popular activities include Team Dynamics Dash and Crack the Code.

2. Trust building exercises

One of the main objectives of team building is to build trust among employees and executives. Some popular trust-building activities that your team can participate in include Eye Contact, Running Free and Mine Field. Most people find it challenging to maintain eye contact with people they barely know.

However, engaging in a simple eye contact exercise during team building can help break the ice and build trust among workmates. It’s important to make your employees comfortable around one another regardless of the department they work in. Using these simple yet effective trust exercises can help companies achieve this goal.

3. Competitive and active events

These exercises are physically demanding − their aim is to push teams to their limits and win the coveted prizes. After all, engaging in some friendly competition is quite healthy. One specific activity called Float Your Boat requires teams to build a robust boat that can hold two people.

However, they’re only provided with cardboard and some duct tape to create their boats. The Tug of War, on the other hand, is a physically grueling game that tests which team is stronger than the other. Companies should always incorporate such fun competitive events when organizing their team building retreats.

4. Hunts and theme park events

Team building should be all about having fun. Organizing scavenger hunts allows teams to explore their surroundings in search of hidden treasures. You can participate in fun quests such as The Great Race to complete a series of challenges while traversing intersections, detours and roadblocks.

You could also opt for exciting theme park events that include activities such as the Epic Selfie Quest. Why not engage in challenging problem-solving events while you’re at it? Games such as the Great Egg Drop will help stimulate your employees’ creativity and jolt their innovative capabilities.

The effective team building events described above are currently run by most professional companies worldwide. You can also include them in the next team building retreat that you organize.
