Honest Review: Dr. Jart+ Skincare and Makeup

I had a Dr. Jart+ haul way back in August this year and now I am ready to give my honest review as well as my Top 3 favourite items from the haul. If you want to check out my first impressions, you can watch my Youtube video at the end of this post.

The Dr. Jart+ Dermaclear Micro Water is by far my favourite item of the bunch! I initially didn't purchase this but it was given to me as a free gift from one of the Sephora girls so I didn't expect this item to be my favourite. It's true when they say that even though free samples are expensive for a company..it really works to convince new customers to be loyal ones. I am proof of that..I've just finished this tiny bottle and am repurchasing the bigger one!

Although the Micro Water can be used to cleanse, tone and brighten the face..I mostly use it as a second step after my facial cleansing wipes to remove any makeup what was not removed by the wipes. I was surprised to find that even when I thought the wipes did the job, the Micro Water proved that there was STILL makeup on my face! Basically, I use it to make sure that my face is squeaky clean before I wash my face.

Next is the Dermaclear Trans Foam Clay. This clay mask comes in Calming White, Moisturizing Pink and Refreshing Green. Each type has a purpose and the name of the mask is very clear..my favourite out of the three is Calming White because it just makes my face SO soft after using it. The "foam" is the only thing that differentiates it from the other clay masks in the market but it is nothing special to me..I just feel like it makes it easier to wash it off maybe.

How do I use it? Well, depending on my skin of the day, I will switch around. I use Moisturizing Pink when my face feels especially dry, Refreshing Green when I feel down because it gives off this cooling minty feeling on the face and Calming White the day before any special occasion day. I usually use this before shower time but after I've washed and cleansed my face. A little goes a long way with this and I just spread the mask all over my dried face with medium coverage. It will dry after 10 minutes, during this time I will just lie down on my bed or do light chores. Once it dries, I head straight to the shower and go about with my day with great feeling skin.

Tip: Don't leave it on your face for a long time after it dries because I find that my face doesn't like that and it tends to break out. In this case, it is important to know how to use a product properly for it to be effective.

My third favourite item is the Porecting Solution mask! The main reason I bought this was because the lady at Sephora said that this mask will bubble up when you use it. "That's interesting!" I thought and let me tell you, after I used it, I fell in LOVE with it. It's also a charcoal mask, so that is my guilty pleasure..my facial wash and toothpaste are also charcoal based so thats gotta tell you something ;)

At RM25 each, it is an EXPENSIVE mask but I would totally repurchase this again because of the bubbly.

What about the other items in the list?

Although the items did not make it to my Top 3 favourites list but it the items were good but but not great and because of it's price, I would not repurchase it again. For the Contouring 1.2.3 Kit, I use it both for contouring and concealing. It suits well with Asian skin tone..I use the bronze color to contour my face as well as my nose and I use the neutralizing color to conceal my under eyes as well as other dark spots on my face. The formula comes out as matte so I like to especially use the highlighter color in the daytime. This also blends well with the Beauty Blender.

As for the Dermaclear Micro Foam, my face broke out after the first few times using it (it doesn't break out now). I think my face was just getting used to it but when it happened, I did not like it. The good thing about this cleanser is that it smells like luxury..like something out of a nice hotel. A little goes a long way with the cleanser..I've used it for 3 months now and it still has more than 90% inside!

As for the Brightening Solution Mask and Cheek & Eye Lift Mask, it is just too expensive for me. The mask itself is good and smells nice but you can't just use it one time and expect a miracle to happen. I can definitely achieve the same results with other masks but with a lower price tag.

The Beach Grill @ The Ritz-Carlton Langkawi

Hi all! I just came back from my trip in Langkawi and as I was taking photos of the places I visited and the activities I did during my short stay, I told myself that I MUST blog about this. Well, I actually wanted to vlog but I find it very hard to organise my video taking (if that makes sense).

During my second day in Langkawi, I went up to the Langkawi Cable Car or Skycab and also the Sky Bridge. There were so many tourists around and the short hike to the Sky Bridge made me SO tired. We managed to make it back to the car at 3PM after all that queuing, I think my next post will be how to survive this. I was exhausted and also had motion sickness..but nothing a plain good ol Hamoi can't solve! Since we didn't know any good places in the area, we decided on an impromptu visit to the one-month-old Ritz-Carlton Langkawi to find some grub. It was feeding time for me lol

Since we rented a car there, we thought we could just drive into the hotel but the guard at the gate stopped us and asked us to park outside and called the buggy for us. I thought it was funny until I realized how HUGE the place was and saw why they wanted us to use the buggy.

The place looked like this and that was the road that we came from. It reminds me of a treehouse..so cute! We went to survey two restaurants including Langkawi Kitchen and also The Beach Grill. In the end, we chose the latter because of its beautiful view overlooking the Langkawi Sea as well as the overall vibes of the restaurant.

My happy red face..I had just recovered from exhaustion and motion sickness.

I ordered their Mozarella dish..the cheese is sourced from local buffalos in Langkawi and it was so delicious! Better than the ones that I get from Jaya Grocer (and they are not cheap as well). The tomatoes could be improved though, it looks like something that I would buy at the pasar for RM2 a pack. The dish itself cost RM88 before taxes.

Originally a Beef Panini, we changed it to chicken. I forgot how much this was. Should have taken a pic of the menu.

Overall, the experience there was nice except that our food came a bit slow. We even ordered Ais Kacang and asked the waiter to bring it to us when our food arrived but we didn't receive it even when we are finished with the food. I'm not sure why it was so slow because there were only about 3 tables occupied during that time and I'm pretty sure Ais Kacang doesn't take that long to prepare. We were in a rush so we had to cancel that, unfortunately. We voiced up our comments to the Buggy guy so hopefully, they would improve that for future guests :)

New Zealand: Part 3 (Last)

The majority of this post are pictures of our wine tour as well as random photos during the last day of our trip. Unfortunately, because I was both sea sick and car sick, I couldn't get to completely enjoy the wine tour. Strangely, after this incident, now that I'm back in Malaysia..I get motion sickness quite easily. I think we visited about 3 wineries and a chocolate factory that day. Another thing I remember from that area was the guy who was in charge of our lodging, Roger. There was this incident where we were about to get into the car to get to the grocery store and he was so shocked! After we said bye to him, we found out that the store was just about 7 minutes walk from our place. HAHA

Our trip actually ended here because we received the worst news from home. It still hurts to think about it. But we managed work together and reach home in less than 24 hours. The trip actually felt like a dream somehow, almost like it never happened. But documenting it, to me, is important.

This is part two of my New Zealand trip last December. I've linked all the parts at the end of this post, so click away! Anyway, I love how gorgeous all the gardens were. So different from Sabah..but of course Sabah will always be number one in my heart. I think we spent about an hour at this place but I felt like it was not enough.

Being a tourist again haha but I was really happy because I could finally open my jacket and enjoy the sun shining on my face for awhile.

How pretty is this view? We stopped the car to take photos like the tourist we were. If I remember correctly, I think this particular drive was about 8 hours. My cousin did a really good job at that.

There was one evening where my aunt decided to treat us to a nice dinner at Portlander.

Even though the view was gorgeous, with the blue water and lush greens, but I experienced a horrible motion sickness throughout the ferry ride from the North Island to the South Island, which only got worst on our ride to Blenheim Not only that, but the wind was so strong that I almost freezed my fingers off.

One of my favorite thing to do in NZ was look at houses just because it's different from Malaysia. And look at that front lawn..This particular house though looks like one of those houses in horror movies. You can just imagine something staring at you from one of the windows.

Last December I had a chance to visit New Zealand with my two aunts and 3 other cousins. I'm only posting it now because so much has happened since that trip and I just had a lot of photos and videos from that trip on my phone. Thank goodness I backed the photos up on my laptop before I lost all my images on my mobile. Now I'm 'backing up' my photos again in this blog.

Our trip was supposed to be a 2-week north to south island kinda roadtrip. We rented a 6-seater in Auckland and we were planning to drive all the way to Queenstown then flyback to Auckland before ending our trip. But due to a family emergency, we only managed to travel for 1 week and our last stop was Christchurch. We're planning to continue where we left off again next time. I hope so. Ever since my dad showed me a video of him bungee jumping in NZ in 2006, I said to myself that I would do the same thing. It was just not my time then.

After I finished my classes for the day, I went to the airport to meet up with my family. Surprisingly, I had the smallest luggage among all of them! Heh. This was my first trip out of Sountheast Asia and I expected the weather in New Zealand to be like Kundasang since it was supposed to be summer! But oh boy, it was SO cold there, I wished that I brought warmer clothes with me. I know I'll have to be better prepared next time.

Our trip was more leisure and there wasn't any sport activities involved so if you are reading this to find out what awesome stuff you can do in NZ, I think you have to look another place :)

The food in NZ has 2x the portions of Malaysia. I couldn't finish my food the first few days so I had to share with my aunt. Also, in restaurants, I had to order the Entrées instead of the Main Course.

Took this photo at Aratiatia Dam & Rapids, it was a short stop because as you can see, it started raining and it was one of the coldest moment of my life.

No wait. I think Lake Taupo was the coldest moment of my life. I literally had to use a beach towel as a scarf because it seemed like everything I was wearing wasn't enough. My skin was so dry and I was wondering WHY I didn't bring my moisturizer. And it was the only time I need moisturizers! We went grocery shopping alot and I really like the produce there (especially the avocados) because everything was really fresh and so so yummy. Bacon was too salty tho. Why.

Being a tourist at Huka Falls. Some people were wearing less than me and I thought "How can you even walk like that in the cold?!"

If you've watched Lord of the Rings or The Hobbit before (who hasn't?), you probably noticed the cute little Hobbit houses with the colorful round doors in the movies. WELL, you can actually visit the set of this place in real life in New Zealand! And it is HUGE. During my visit to NZ last year, I had the chance to have a tour around the place. Mind you, as magical as the place looks in photos, in real life its a really touristy place because we had to go in by groups of 30 or so people and there was about 5-6 of these groups touring the place all at once.

If you are not the type of person to take photos or if you are the type of person who hates tours and prefer to venture on your own - this is not for you. I overheard a few of the tourist say that the tour wasn't worth their money so to each their own. I am a lover of pretty things, and this place is pretty darn pretty to me so personally..I liked the place. You are not allowed to go into the hobbit house, except for one (for pictures sake). But there is literally nothing inside that one house because well - it IS just a movie set.

I hope you enjoy my photos! I took them with an iPhone 6 and edited it using photoshop. As you can see, the hobbit houses are unique as the doors are painted in their own colors and they all have different style in front of their houses. Also, I am just in love at the flowers in this beautiful country. I will be posting 3 other separate blog post to document my NZ trip because I took so much photos and I want to share it with you guys because I know some of you have been reading my blog since the very beginning and its also my main digital platform for me to keep my memories.

This reminds me of the Enid Blyton books that I used to read as a child.

It also reminds me of the Secret Garden movie I used to watch too.

Hobbiton is also a good place to take product photos too. The only thing is time constraints because you have to follow your tour group at all times. I loved the outcomes of the Love, Lusie product photos that I have managed to take.

Cempedak Spring Roll

This post is long overdue. But I just wanted to post it up because I have all these photos on my phone which I transferred to my laptop a few months ago and I just wanted to put it someplace that will last longer than my phone or laptop. Believe it or not , my blog is almost 10 years old. We all know that phones and laptops get lost/stolen or never want to turn on again.

I recently lost all my data on my phone when it suddenly decided to do a hard reset by itself. Previously, when I backed up my phone, I disabled the photo option because I didn't have enough storage space on my iCloud. I'm slapping myself left and right for not buying more iCloud storage and not taking backups seriously. Just buy the damn storage, trust me. Do it today after you read this post. Don't procrastinate.

Also, set your whataspp for DAILY BACKUP in the Settings. I managed to restore my chats the first time my phone turned on but idiot me decided to reset it again because I totally forgot that I disabled my iCloud photo backup option. So I lost my whatsapp data as well.

Don't be like idiot Marion :(

Fried Lemongrass Chicken Poppers, my friend said that it smelled amazing but myself couldn't smell it (haha) but it was good, especially with the soup. I'm not a big fan of miso soup but this really went well together.

One of the best thing about being an entrepreneur is that I get to expand my social circle and meet up with other entrepreneurs! This is Chloe.. She is from KK like me as well and we spent the whole afternoon catching up and basically having a good talk. Imagine Cup Malaysia 2017

Say hello to my mentor, Dr Hafiz and my team mates, Farhan & Muthu!

Last March, my team and I were chosen as one of the Top 10 teams to compete in Imagine Cup Malaysia 2017. We had been working on the project since last year so it was a huge surprise! This was during my semester break and I had to fly back that week after spending the week before preparing for and running our Love, Lusie pop up store in Gaya Street. Farhan was attending a workshop in Denmark at that time and only arrived in KL one day before the event day itself. Everything was rushed but we managed to make it. Special thanks to Dr Hafiz for driving us there and being so supportive, we could not have done it without him.

Basically for this competition, we had to compete with other teams from universities all over Malaysia like Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, University Teknologi Petronas (where the event was held), Swinburne University etc. It was a 3 days 2 nights kinda event and it was the first time that I had to represent Multimedia University. What more...this was my first tech related project!

During the first day, we got a chance to talk to the other contestants, prepare our app and also had a mentorship session with amazing experienced mentors from all over! This is my favorite part because I'm always curious about other people's point of view as well as their opinion.

On the second day, we had to prepare our booths as well as for our presentation to the judges.

As you can see in my photo, I'm responsible for making sure that everything is perfect lol

We were really grateful for Microsoft (especially Sunnie and Fiona) for assisting us with an interpreter for the second day of the event. So so grateful! I wish I knew sign language so that I could communicate with the boys since they were not able to hear me. But this event brought us closer because they even gave me my own sign language name! (Yes, I have a sign language name)

I like dressing up and looking nice, because UTP is such a nice place to take OOTD's. Shoutout to UTP for having an amazing library! This was the evening of the second day where they would announce the winners and also award winners of the competition.

We won the Potential Commercialization Idea Award and we were also the First Runner Up for People's Choice Award! At least we did a little part in making MMU proud!

In this post, I'm going to take the role of the beauty blogger..where I review products that were sent to me. I haven't done this in a long time, not even for my own brands lol

I even prepared a short Youtube video at the end of this post, now how exciting is that?

So the brand that I will be reviewing today is Milk & Co. This is an Australian brand that was created by Michael Klim, an Olympic swimmer, who first launched a mens skincare line. Now they have a womens face and body range as well as baby range too! How in the world did an Olympic swimmer decide to create a skincare line.. I'm really curious about that. Also, how awesome that Milk is backward for Klim.

Now, I'm really feeling the packaging. Not to mention, it really compliments my blog too.

What I received:

Now let's start with the body oil. It is infused with papaya extract, lavender oil, soy oil and vitamin E.

I don't normally put oil on my skin because I'm not used to it and also because I simply don't like feeling oily. But I tried rubbing the oil all over my body after my shower and this really absorbs well into the skin, leaving it soft. The scent of the lavender was really soothing, I love that part. I also decided to use the oil as a makeup remover and it works for me so I'm probably going to use this until I finish because I have no makeup remover since someone broke my bottle of (expensive) argan oil.

Next step is the face cleanser! This is my favorite product among the four. One is because you don't have to use a lot of it.. one drop is enough to cleanse my face and two - is because of it's amaaaaaazing smell. The scent is a miture of essential geranium oil, ylang ylang and extracts of hibiscus flower and turmeric. Yum. Big fan of this.

The first time I tried this mask, I was like "Why does it feel so warm?? Will it make my face smaller?" I wish. ha. I don't know why it felt warm but it was good because my face felt supple after that. And I only had to wear the mask for 7-10 minutes before I wash it off. I mean, I already have my own teamask routine but I think I can incorporate this into my routine for 1 - 2 times a week. It's that good. The mask has multiple fruit extracts, vitamin E and green tea extract and it's supposed to exfoliate, smooth and moisturise the skin.

I'm not into moisturising that much so I use this mainly on the neck. The reason why is because we spend so much time and products taking care of our face but we tend to neglect the neck, which can show our age if we don't take care of it well. Also, this moisturiser is the lightest moisturiser ever to thats a plus! This product contains jojoba oil, vitamin E oil, aloe vera extract , marine extracts of nori and spirulina.

Drizzle @ Cyberjaya

Went to this new cafe in Cyberjaya because one of my coursemates suggested that it was good. The cafe is really close to the area where the Starbucks Drive-Thru, Old Town and McD Drive-Thru is located. It's at Cybersquare. The cafe is also quite easy to spot because of its babyblue signage with the word "Drizzle".

My friends and I tried out all the pasta flavours and I would really recommend their Aglio Olio and Alfredo. It's RM16 for chicken/beef or RM19 for seafood. Their French Toast was also really good for a dessert but you might want to share it with someone else.

Then we had ice cream from the shop beside it. Ahhhh What is diet?

Niko-Niko Bag : Sometime by Asian Designers

When Sometime by Asian Designers released their Niko-Niko Bag last year, it was a huge hit. Bucket bags were in thanks to Mansur Gavriel.

These bags were not only cute but they were also really practical, although sometimes I worry that people would slip their hand in and steal my stuff but so far that has never happened to me.

Sometime released a variety of colors and other than its amazing quality (for its price), I think that was also the reason why it was so popular. People were buying it by the tons and reselling it at a higher price due to its demand! I really wanted the regular sized one, especially in black but it was almost impossible. Even during the launch of their minis, I only managed to get the mocha and the grey. All the bags sold out in less than half an hour. I was one of the lucky few to be able to purchase, after seemingly spending an eternity refreshing my browser to check out my purchases.

I love my bag and even now, I still use it on a regular basis.
Kept the mocha but I gave the grey one to a dear friend :)

Boat Hats & Off Shoulder Tops

These photo were taken about four months ago and I am still in love with this combination. I just love off shoulder tops and boat hats. Very cute.

So I read Marie Kondo's book "The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing" and I wanted to emulate her way of living simply and neatly. The last time I went back to KK, I handed down / donated most of my clothes, leaving just the ones that I still wear when I get back to home. Still, I had clothes that I couldn't let go, so I'm hoping I know what to do the next time I go home, which is today.

My goal for the remaining part of this year is to declutter the living room of my home in Cyberjaya so that it would be comfortable for everyone to hang out down stairs instead of being in our rooms all the time. Currently, I am the only girl living in this house and I like things to be neat and clean but before that, I have to declutter everything that is left by previous tenants. I've been doing it little by little but somehow it always piles up! So frustrated.

And how crazy is it that 2016 is ending?

Today, while I was scrolling through my laptop, I stumbled upon photo from my 2014 trip to the Philippines. That was almost exactly two years ago and I went there during my birthday (18th October). It was my first time in The Philippines and I loved it so much..the food, the people etc.

I was supposed to blog about this after I came back but I got so busy with work after that and never got a chance to post about it. But better late than never right?

I'm too lazy to type too much right now because its 1AM so I'll just let the pictures do all the talking.

Double Horn Necklace Finally Arrived

My new necklace has just arrived! It's so beautiful. I can't take my eyes off it.

Bought this from Jenny and jude on Ebay and I gotta say I am very satisfied with the service and quality of their product. It was expensive but worth it. I wanted to wait for it to debut in Malaysia so I could get it for cheaper but I think 6 months is just too long of a wait.

I caved and ordered it before I went back to KK for my break. When I came back after less than two weeks, it was already waiting for me! I needed that mood boost because I found out that my latest results were bad, all B's. Sigh. I'm disappointed in myself - letting my grades drop once I start to earn a little money. Need to work harder this trimester. Need to be more organized with my time and priorities. No distractions.

I remember going through a girl's instagram and I saw that her background was a wall with potted plants. It was my first time seeing it and I thought it was the most beautiful thing. Then when I got to Cyberjaya, the wall was right there..5 minutes away from my house! Needless to say that I was excited because I also got to take a picture in front of a wall with potted plants.

If you're wondering why I am suddenly updating all these post on my blog, this is because I am starting a neat little project.

On a different note: I managed to fix toilet plumbing with my own bare hands yesterday! I can't say all the credit goes to me though because my uncle was kind enough to guide me through my family whatsapp. However, I do seem so have a problem with my water supply now...no water!

Thaviax Workshop With Naddy Rahman

Few months ago I attended the Thaviax Flat Lay Workshop with social media influencer Naddy Rahman (IG: naddy_rahman). I got to know about the event from Thavia's instagram, which I ws already following. I will post all their details at the end of this post just in case you are interested in dropping by because they are selling a lot of beautiful pieces of clothes, bags etc.

I decided to wear a nude dress as well as minimal makeup and an earring. Took me more than an hour to get there because I live quite far away. When I got there, they had everything prepared already! All the flowers, the jewelry and little quotes for the flat lays. In case you guys are curious, a flat lay is a way to photograph products on a surface to make them look aesthetically pleasing. A lot of bloggers and instagrammers use this technique. I used to do this a lot when I was doing my What's In My Bag posts.

I was the earliest to arrive so I got to know the girls a the shop, they were lovely and very fashionable. And I took some photos of the stuff before Naddy came. She was really tall, I felt so small beside her haha. But she is super gorgeous, and super sweet. I showed her a painting I did of her they day before because I didn't want to come empty handed and felt like doing a nice gesture.

So after everybody arrived, we got started on the flay lays. How do you combine so many beautiful things to make the perfect photo? Hmm. I guess I'll save that for another post ;)

The event only took about 2 hours or so. Other than flat lays, we also tried on some Urban Decay makeup and had ice cream. I can still remember the taste. Will go back to the shop when I get to Publika again.

Did I mention that we got some freebies - RM250 worth of jewelry? Yup!! I got me some rings and a rose gold pearl necklace..OOTD post in the future maybe?

Mimirello Talks

I've been thinking.. who even blogs nowadays?
People express themselves now through Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat.
Apps like those are easy, it doesn't take much effort as opposed to blogging whereby you have to spend maybe at least 30 minutes to an hour on a post. And kids now are earning cash Instagramming - I just found out a 16 year old girl who is earning more than half of my allowance in two weeks! Reminds me of my old blogging days, I was a little entrepreneur then. Am I that slow on catching up now? I think previously I just got caught up in the working world. Things just pass by so fast.

I read this morning about a Malaysian girl who is the same age as me got featured on Forbes list of 30 under 30 Asia 2016. Same age as me. Reading the list made me think about a conversation I had with someone, someone who wanted to be revolutionary. How about me? Do I want to be revolutionary? I don't know, I have simple dreams. I do know that I want to do something I can say that I am proud of. I care about what people think. But sometimes I just wanna say fuck it. Somebody please come and slap the I don't know out of me.

This is just my thoughts for today. Honestly, I still love blogging though and I won't quit this anytime soon. Ok! So, I'm at home sneezing my nose off, a drop of blood is coming out my left nose I don't know why. Other than that it is just mucus and I think I'm coming down with the flu, which is terrific because I have an exam in two days. Just great.

Printing @ KLIA2

So the other day, I flew back home for Chinese New Year. And I had a problem with my AirAsia barcode..it wouldn't show. And I needed to print out my boarding pass at the kiosk - using that barcode! What else can I do? Second alternative was to print my boarding pass at a printing shop but I was flying back on the first day of Chinese New Year so like all public holidays in Malaysia, all the shops in Cyberjaya were closed..

My third alternative was to re-print at the Air Asia check in counter..which would cost me RM10. Not only do I have to pay an unacceptable amount of money for a piece of paper, albeit one that could allow me to go home, but I also have to que up for that. I wasn't feeling particularly patient that day.

Now, before I pursued my third alternative, I googled "printing shops in KLIA2" without success. Why doesn't KLIA2 have any printing shops anyway? It has everything BUT a printing shop. I guess their only goal is to make revenue from food & shopping. (Let's say they do have a printing shop, please comment and I will edit this part. And we can help people who googles "printing shops in KLIA2" in the future).

So my internet failed me..meh..I still had to fly back home. When I reached KLIA2, I decided to use my people skills to solve my problem and found out that there is a place where you can do your printing!

Thank God for Plaza Premium Lounge.

Let me just say that to avoid any viruses, they won't accept any pendrives or whatsoever. They'll give you an email address and you have to email to them from your phone and they'll print it out for you..for RM3 per page. Yup, I saved myself RM7 that day. And since I didn't find any info on my dear internet, I decided to share it with you guys! This is what it looks like.

UPDATE 4/2/2017:

Thank you to all who commented on this post! I am also happy to know that at least I've helped a few people with their dilemma. Just an update - there IS a printing shop in KLIA2 and it is located near the domestic departures..Beside KFC. One person in the comment section mentioned that printing cost RM0.85 for one piece.

Whoever invented cashews+fried rice a long long long time ago has my thanks! This combination is amazing. However, there was only 3 cashews in my rice yesterday. So sad. But I think I want to make this at home next time. I normally cook one type of fried rice so this can spice up my meals next time.

Met my dear friend Tasha even though she is having her exams soon. We have the opposite schedule! When I am just starting a new trimester, she is ending hers. It is so hard to meet up sometimes, especially together with my old diploma friends.

The worst part of it was going back..did I mention that I currently live in Cyberjaya? It took me 3 hours of waiting+travelling time by cab and bus to go back on a Friday. I am going to spend the rest of my week at home now.

Working on a few paintings. Oh and I will be attending my first fashion workshop next Friday! I want to do something nice for them, so maybe more paintings! So exciting.

Once in awhile, my bestfriend comes over to KL and we enjoy eating at cafes/restaurants that I normally wouldn't go to alone..Because it's really lonely to eat nice food by yourself with the exception of your own cooking in the comfort of your own home. We also had waffles and ice cream, something that we also do at home quite often.

However, its staying at home most days for me because it really does cost a lot to go out and I've learned that the best way to save money is to just do exactly that. Not only that, but I figured out how to live healthily on a low budget. That's a really plus point.

Anyway, my dad got me a new iPhone 6 as my belated birthday present and I am so happy with it. If you are reading this, thank you again daddy!! Finally changing phones after 3+ years. I actually got it second hand from a girl who used it for about 5 months before she decided to upgrade to the iPhone 6. And I got a pretty good deal for a 64GB phone! No scratches and works perfectly well. I found her through mudah.my but only after messaging a couple of ads to inquire.

And before I forget! I've added a new "Artwork" tab in my blog for all my paintings. 2015 is ending soon and I am glad that I've achieved my 2015 new years resolution by "exploring my creative side more". Painting is very therapeutic for me.

H&M long dress altered in half

I have been meaning to post this while I was still in KK but somehow my two weeks just flew by so quickly! I was working for a few days, met up with some friends, ate a ton, spent some time working at the sewing machine (a really good way to learn sewing is to take apart a dress and sew it back) and just being back home felt great.

Didn't get to see the sunset because it rained most evenings. Hopefully I can get a shot when I am back again in February or March next year.

Pisang cheese. All things bad for the body but so good on the tastebuds.
