Ouch, that sucks. Not sure if you want to report the incident to the police, or if it would even help.

How interesting that people would express their opinions, so openly displaying their values and beliefs and morals.

More interesting that my granny, who had 10 children herself, taught all her children that if you can't say something nice about someone it's best not to say anything at all.

I wish this large family all the happiness in the world and I know the bond among their family members is much stronger than that among families of a good 99% of any hateful commenters.

Anybody remember the "Judge not lest you be judged?" Just a thought...

We live in a world where people are accustomed to broken homes. If there is a large family, it's because there are step- and half-siblings involved from a multitude of parents.

People hate those who manage to grow a large family because they are innately jealous that they were able to do what they have failed to do.

Those who think that "people are a problem" are prima facie hypocrites -- would they suggest terminating the lives of them and their families and friends for the "greater good"? It's only "others" who are the problem, and the larger the group, the easier it is to point the finger.

You're right, the act of revolution is a dangerous, violent, and terrible thing. But if that's what it takes to restore liberty, freedom and justice, then bring it. Beats sittin’ around workin’ for the man and staring at the television all day.

Even though they may want to push exactly that? I'd be careful with the wish for "revolution". The mob doesn't lynch only bad guys.
(By the way, I will respond to your aother responses still... I'm just on the slow side.)
