Feedback needed for Mindhive.

Hi all,

Its getting close to a year since Buzzo and Svetlana handed me the keys to Mindhive as they moved onto new pastures. In that time I've been mainly a caretaker just keeping it as it is.

I suppose it would be great to get any thoughts people have about it. Whether people are happy with the current state of affairs. Obviously its quite a sleepy forums by say EF standards but the discussions that we have seem to be quite deep thoughtful stuff especially on SPONG or games in general. It seems like a good place to get your voices heard. Its always a question I had was should we actively try and get new members, or just leave it as it is.

Some lists of things I have include to upgrade the forum to Version 3 of IPB. Although think its such a big upgrade I'll probably do quite a bit of testing on a test system before even going live with that.

So if anyone has any thoughts and feedback do post here!

Dragon Age:Origins - Looks and sounds fantastic.

For those that don't know I'm still a big fan for single player games, especially FPS and RPGs. I love the cinematic experience and the tightly scripted storylines. Its always something that I think MMO's sometimes struggle with. Because I don't watch much TV, these games do become a substitute for getting engrossed in a storyline. Its as much like reading a good book.

So just seen some of the material on Dragon Age: Orgins coming up in previews on Steam. Have to say it looks fantastic and I rather like the darker storyline, reminds me a bit of the witcher.

I think the other thing thats going to impress me is the size of it. 100 hours of potential gameplay is always good in my books.

Think its going to be added to my library of games I think :-) Currently playing Wolfenstein and FEAR 2, so could do with a Genre change to something like Dragon Age.

So if you guys don't hear from me in a couple of months then you know why ;-)

Looks like they've released a new version of CryEngine. Looks interesting from a platform portability point of view.
